While eating at Golden Corral yesterday we were sitting by the salad bar. 2 ladies were working on cleaning the salad bar and the other was making cotton candy. The lady cleaning and refilling the salad bar had a bowl of sunflower seeds and turned to the lady making cotton candy and held out the bowl. They both grabbed some if the seeds with a gloved hand and put them in their mouths then she turned and poured the seeds into the bowl on the salad bar. Neither lady changed their gloves. The lady making cotton candy continued bagging and the salad bar lady continued refilling the salad bar. We asked our waitress for the manager and we waited about 20 minutes and left. This is the type of thing that will cause my family and I to never return to an eating establishment. Management needs to watch staff closer.

I took my family of 4 to dinner on a Thursday night. $59.68 just to get in the door. 3 small drinks and 4 adult buffets. Mediocre food to say the best. Pizza was undercooked digirno, steak was fatty and rubbery, baked potato was steamed 2 days too long, chicken fried steak batter was way way to salty. I know its buffet but I expected much more for the expense. Place was buzzing with chaos, kids, impatient people, line cutters and lots of staff. My server was nice and attentive but that is the only good experience with this location. I wont be back and I wouldnt suggest it to friends or family so I dont suggest it to you.

We went on a Monday night. We got there 10 min before 4. My husband went up to the grill and ask for a medium done steak. The guy said very rudely "we dont serve steak til 4 and you cant have any steak because it is a different price and walked away." We should have been told that when we paid and he did not have to be so rude about it. I gotten a baked potato and went to the salad bar to dress it. There was sour cream and butter but no grated cheddar cheese no where. That was a big let down. The banana pudding was liquid and nasty tasting. I would not wanted my money on that place again.

This suck!! Longview is better... got some fish when it came out the fryer... and it was not done! First time coming me and the family! Nt again!! Waitress was awesome great service from her! One Manager came over and basically lied to our face about the fish not being done! He said, it was the oil and it hadnt been temp properly!! Lol.. "Bathroom ( women) was , are havent be clean all day ! From the looks of it!! would not recommend this location!!

The food is pretty good, except the mac and cheese which tastes like it is made from a grainy powder cheese. However, the temperature inside was so stuffy it made our meal an unpleasant experience. And last but not least, they have a fly issue. Not one, not a few, but SEVERAL flies all over the resturant. I skipped the salad because a very large fly was munchng away on a crouton in the middle of the bowl. I probably wont be back.

The food was about the same quality and price as you would get at a Asian buffet. The steak cook said he didnt have anything medium rare, but said hed get some out to me. I got other food, then amazingly he personally brought a piece of steak to me. It tasted good, but as others have written, it was tough. My waitress was nice but never asked me if I wanted my drink refilled. If I go back, it will be at the lower price times.

About par for a Golden Corral. Decent fare and a very good selection. Great salad bar. The service is as good as can be expected. I actually am impressed they could keep good spirits considering some of the horrible customers. East Texas customers are consistently some of the worse customers in the world. While the food is good, having to deal with your slow-witted slobbering masses of the Tyler area can be trying.

It was extremely nasty in there. We were there on a Sunday. Our area was extremely filthy. The poor staff did what they could. When you looked around, there just wasnt enough staff. Wait staff was having to clean up and wait tables. They need housekeeping staff very badly at this place. Our waiter Terrence was nice but poor guy they just had him doing too much. Get these people some help.

At the salad bar, after putting a large portion of chopped iceburg lettuce on my plate, a FLY dug its way out of the pile! We paid 35.00 for 2 to eat with 2 drinks, and we got a discount! The food is not very good, burbon chicken very dry, not many choices of vegetables and too expensive for the low quality food!

Food was good but we didnt have a server at our table. Every one kept walking by. Just before we left a person asked if we had a server and we said no, but we are leaving now. Price was high. It cost over $35.00 for two people. Or maybe Im just cheap. I was expecting to pay around 20.

This is so much better than Tylers original golden corral. The food is good and fresh tasting, dishes are clean, fruit taste like fruit and variety lets everyone find something they like. I notice too that then food area has been expanded to include more steam tables.

Food was just ok, like any other cheap buffet but the prices you would think you were eating with king or something. The bathrooms were nasty and water got so hot very quick and burned my hand as well as little girl next to me. Think i will stick with Jalapeno Tree...

It was okay. The fish and Mexican rice was good. Enchiladas were okay. The fruit wasnt sweet but still okay. Dessert was good except for the banana pudding. Very expensive for what little options they had. Might come back when the lunch special is going on

Nearly $100 for 5 people but the food was great and the customer service was fantastic. Rene and Melo took great care of my family. Their teamwork was awesome and they were a lot of fun. Great job guys! Keep it up! We will definitely come back.

I hope Valencia is my waitress every time I come. She served with a smile a treated every customer in her area as if they were special. Shes a rare breed. Give her a raise!! My experience wouldnt have been the same without her.

The food was good. But most of all I commend the gentleman that was serving the breakfast food. He had excellent customer service. Everytime I go in he is always smiling. There is a waitress named Tara who is great as well.

Fried Chicken was good . Steak was fat grissle and salt. They cant compare to Loggins and Sweet Sues. in quality and value. Ive been to several GCs this us the worst fiod by far. Really disappointed.

This place was mediocre at best. The food was lukewarm and bland. Im diabetic and several items on the buffet tasted quite sweet to me. The server was quite overbearing. I doubt that Ill go back.

This is the worst food I ever eat, Plus I had food poisoning by eating the pork chop, when I got home I had really bad skin rash, the food has no taste. Waitress was so nice but food was horrible.
