Went to China King Buffet with good intentions but just like others have mentioned in previous reviews this place is horrible. The customer service is terrible and the food has become tasteless. I was told that they have new management and that may explain why this place has become this way because a little over a year ago this place was one of the best Chinese food spots. The lady at the counter believes that we owe her a service by paying for our food and asking for a receipt that she never puts in your hand I believe that would be asking too much. They are very rude and its not worth dealing with after you spend your money on they tasteless food. I will never return after the rudeness I received.

This used to be one of my favorite places to eat, but I cannot say that anymore. The bathrooms are filthy, and the inside stalls have marks all over the place. I cannot believe they look like this. The lady who checks you out = rude, unfriendly, looks at you like your stupid and doesnt say a word except, "Have a good day." when she hands back your receipt. The food at lunch time is disgusting. Its dry, soggy and just plain gross. This is my 3rd visit, and the first two times, I cut it some slack, hoping it was a new chef or that they just had a bad week. But after 3 times, I finally have to leave a review. Very disappointed in this place. Will not be going back.

The food sucked. Plain and simple. All the fried food was hard and already stale. I mean..im trying to think of something that satisfied me but i cant. Except the general tso chicken..it was alright. But thats it. Dont waste your $. It was only like $10 for lunch but still. I can go to the buffet on 323 by Cavanders and get way better quality food for less or the same price. Or even the place China Star on 323 & 31. Now that place is GOOD! (not buffet)

We like this restaurant; however, no child should be allowed to go alone and get food at any buffet style restaurant. This needs to be enforced by the restaurant and parents as a team effort. Dear Parents, We do not want to eat the food that your children have sampled and put back after coughing on their hands. We do not want to eat food that your children have dripped ice cream all over in the buffet area. Non of this is acceptable.

I love the food and service! The waiters/waitresses are always very helpful, and I have never had any issues here. I highly recommend China King to anyone who wants to enjoy good, quality Chinese food. This is by far the best Chinese restaurant that I have ever eaten at! I have been coming for many years, and will continue to come for many years!

Bland food. hardly any seafood. sushi SUCKED. service was great. no Clams. only muscles. crab sucked, over cooked. shrimp overcooked. the mushrooms wasnt bad though. soda was ok, they only had pepsi and not COKE. them coke haten bastards. overall selection wasnt that good. likely will not go back. Waco vegas buffet was MUCH better.

I really wish this place were good, but I have to dock stars for food quality alone. I love going here, the service is always decent, and the selection is very large, but I dont return very often just because I leave feeling disappointed in the food quality. Still, its nice to get so much food and variety at their prices.

Everything tasted excellent and the wait staff was polite and quick to get refills and assist. Also cheap for people on a budget. 2 people is 20 bucks. I eat here at least once a month, sometimes twice and reccomend this place to everyone. Lots of variety so theres something for everyone, even picky eaters.

I had a great meal at China King. I went during the lunch rush so I didnt experience anything other than fresh food, nothing dried out or hard. It is better than the other buffets in Tyler. It had been a couple of years since I had eaten here and the quality has certainly surpassed my expectations.

I didnt enjoy the food at all and the customer service was awful. It took the waiter 15 minutes into me eating my meal to even come over to ask what i wanted to drink then another 10 minutes to bring it and it wasnt the drink i asked for. Definitely isnt a place that I would recommend to anyone.

I work at a store just down from China King in Tyler and I was throwing away boxes into Our box dumpster before I left for the night and saw a China King employee STANDING IN their trash dumpster with his apron on. DISGUSTING! Wont even come close to trying now!!!!!

This place has amazing customer service and the food is superb. My waitress/waiter is always positive and friendly and you definitely get what you pay for. I recommend this restaurant to all of my friends and strangers alike. They have everything you can ask for.

Service is pretty rude for customers who order take out. Each time I order my food to go, they act like they dont my business. Food is OK for the price but there are better alternatives, especially when you consider how poor the attitude of the staff is.

Great variety. Im partial to the boiled shrimp, green beans, mushrooms, and salad bar. There is always plenty to choose from with a variety of sweets afterwards. The staff is attentive and the restaurant appears clean with a pleasant atmosphere.

I believe its about $10 to get a Togo box and fill it up as much as you want, this is a bit pricey if you decide to fill your box up with bread, but personally I find about 4 pounds of sesame chicken well worth $10 if you can pack it in there.

Its a Chinese buffet... Cant expect too much. Decent food and friendly wait staff. The bathrooms are pretty bad and reminiscent of communist China, which could be considered a welcome addition to the completed ambiance of the place.

Eventually, when your acknowledged by the hostess, then sat...buffet line is plentiful. Food is generally delish and somewhat fresh. Compared to the other Asian buffets in town this one is the Best. But for fresh Chinese try Liangs.

Lots of locals eat there because its pretty good. I reckon some folks dont understand Chinese buffet vs alacarte. Whole different set up. Fairly generic, but decent. Lots of people eat there.
