If I had to rate a restaurant based upon a lunch special alone, this place definitely get a good rating. Very reasonable lunch prices. They have lunch specials that include a soup, rice, and an entree for prices between 6 to 8 dollars. They have a good range of dishes from the normal ones you would see at any "Chinese" restaurant. They also serve up quite a few Thai inspired dishes. The food is good, the service is good too. I dont recommend the crab rangoon. Mine seemed to be reheated rather than cooked at the time of order. While they werent bad, they didnt seem to be freshly made. Again, not bad, but I have had better. I ordered a thai dish, it was pretty good, although not exactly what the menu said. I would go back again, the lunch special is hard to beat, and the place is new. I am hopeful that they will work out the kinks.

Dont waste your time. Asian City is just up the road and its really good food and service. I ordered the eggplant and the skin was inedible.. I had to pick the skin out of my mouth each bite.. My husband ordered the MaPo Tofu Vegetable dish and it was just tons of mushy tofu in a sauce with a couple snow peas on top. When they asked how our food was I told them we both didnt like our food and explained why. I even showed them the chewed shreds of inedible eggplant skin. The manager tried to make some excuses and didnt really care we hated our food. No apologies.. No trying to fix the food...But they did bring the check while we were both sitting there with FILLED plates obviously unsatisfied with our dinner. They fought with me about the bill and I finally told them I would pay fifty percent of the bill just to get out of there.

We were told that this place had vegetarian dishes so we decided to check it out. Mistake. If youre vegetarian, go elsewhere. My dish was only tofu with some sauce on it. Store bought mushy undercooked tofu... With store bought sauce. No vegetables at all. Not a creative dish at all, such a copout just to put something vegetarian on the menu. When we told them they were shocked that we didnt like a tofu dish since thats what we ordered. They only get a star cause the place is clean and Im sure their meat dishes are fine, but we wont be coming back. Actually, Im taking the last star back. They fought with us with the check. No class at all. And apparently a manager was outside and couldnt talk to us, so we had to wait for that. We argued for several minutes. One star is too much, we should be able to give zero.

We have ordered from here on a couple of different occasions and absolutely love the food. However, the delivery driver tried to pull a fast one tonight. Our order total was $36.75 and I had $40 out ready to tip the guy. He knocks on the door and when I answered he told me my total was $40. I handed him the money and said the total was actually $36 something and after trying to find the total on the receipt the driver said "oh, your right dude, youre good" and walked off. My family loves the food so I imagine we will order from here again, but next time Im putting it on a card and leaving a $0.01 tip if its the same chubby bearded driver.

Have been to JJ China probably 8 times. Enjoyed the food so kept going back. The last few times though, we have noticed differences in prices on the bill. My husband loves the Pepper Steak but likes it with extra Garlic - no extra charge for that for first few visits, then they started charging .25 cents. Not that big of a deal at first. Went yesterday - and they charged $2.00 for extra garlic. Same thing happened with the fried rice versus steamed. No charge for either one, but now there is. My husband spoke with manager and they wouldnt budge on anything. We wont be going back - terrible customer service!

Ridiculous portions to please ANY crowd! Never busy. Im assuming BC no one knows about them! Great $$, and the meat is absolutely fresh, and biggest portions Ive seen! The older server seems a lil mad about working, but I dont know what is going on in his life, so I dont judge! I ALWAYS recommend this place, and the people I tell actually CALL ME BACK after going and THANK ME!?!? LoL!!!!!! They do have beer and wine I believe as well!!! I wish I could take them with me if I move, hehehehe.

We have eaten here many times. They have High-quality food and a good selection of spicy Chinese and some Thai cuisine as well. If you like food slightly on the spicy side, I highly recommend the stuffed eggplant, Thai chicken with basil and the Thai spicy fish. The Tom Yum soup is also excellent. There are plenty of excellent non-spicy dishes to choose from as well.

The smallest food proportions known to man with big plate prices. Microwave fried rice with a horrible Ginger aftertaste. Very very strange as far as Chinese food goes.hi 20 minutes later I was on the porcelain throne for hours. One of the worst restaurant dining experiences Ive ever had will not be going back ever !

The server could have been a little more proficient in the English language..... Like you dont know what French Fries are? Other than that, the food was goooood! The fried rice, chicken wings and Gen Tsos were all on point. Will definitely make this a Go to for when the craving hits.

No joke.. I think I just ate stray cat or some type of rodent.. the texture of the meat was pretty gnarly. crab Rangoon was good, but now my stomach is acting wierd. They were nice enough to refund one of the meals back on to my card and the man was apologetic on the phone.

We have been enjoying JJ for years. Before we lived in this area, we went to their location in College Station almost once a week. We have tried almost everything on the menu and have never been disappointed. I have nothing but great things to say about this restaurant.

I have ate here multiple times and today was the first time that i ordered their take out. They were on time. As a matter of fact they were early, and the food was great as usual. Keep up the good service and quality food!

Great lunch specials everyday of the week. Service is very efficient. Prices are great. Love the spring rolls. My favorite dish is orange beef. Not on the lunch menu but definitely worth trying.
