Not as much character as the Bodacious on Troup Highway, but what it may lack in architectural flavor it more than makes up for with quality food and cleanliness. Also, the sloppy joes are unbeatable in my opinion. Plus theyre only a dollar on Wednesdays, so thats pretty much my favorite day of the week now.

I ate here for lunch and had the sliced brisket sandwich and the sausage. Let me tell you, you we will be hard pressed to find better brisket and sausage in the state of TX. Outstanding with perfect bark, smoke ring and taste. Couldnt be more pleased. Thank you for producing such great BBQ!!!

The bbq is ok, beef was a little dry. Hot links are really good. The sauce is definitely better at other places, and other bbq joints have different sauces to pick from. Here theres only one. The sauce isnt sweet at all and thats good by me but sometimes I like to mix in a little sweetness.

Ribs are on the chewy side, but still tasty. The bbq sauce here is what makes them. Good pinto beans, coleslaw leaves something to be desired.
