Save you money. This place is more expensive than what they advertise on their web site. The food lacks flavor, the potato salad is too salty, and the bbq sauce is horrible, and the portions are small. I went there thinking they would be better than Pappas BBQ, but now I know I should stick to big businesses, after all they are big for one reason: quality and quantity. Ahorren-se su dinero. Este lugar es más caro de lo que se patrocina en su sitio web. A la comida le hace falta sabor, la ensalada de papa esta demasiado salada, la salsa barbecue no es gran cosa, y las porciones son demasiado pequeñas. I cant believe I never tried this place before now. I was a little put off because they were charging for parking due to a sports event down the street, but I explained I just came in to eat and was not attending the game. They let me park and eat, and can I just say this was some of the best brisket Ive ever had. It was moist, tender, and delicious. The potato salad was also on point. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and the owner even offered me another serving on the house. Super awesome experience

The staff is very nice and friendly. The atmosphere portrays the nostalgia and scene of Texas in general with all the antiques and wildlife trophies; but, the bar-b-que (or should I say Oven-que) need lots of work..I didnt get even a hint of smoked flavor in my half-chicken dish - the Breast was too dry. The cornbread-whatever part didnt land in my mouth after I took a bite crumbled out of my hands. This is definitely not Texas-style BBQ.

They dont deserve a single star -- the owner is RACIST... as im writing this review the store owner came out into the parking lot yelling "Whats this chalk and this trash...i dont like yall over here because im tired of yall trash" ..im assuming because we are black he has mistaken us for other patrons in this area...I would never spend money at this place and mind you he is a damn immigrant himself!!

Had lunch here for first time. Overall food and service good. However, BBQ chicken was dry and possibly old. Had to peel most layers off to get to some decent tender meat. But the turkey and yams were good. Id come back again, but I will not be having the chicken! I did like that they had good variety of foods, other than BBQ; they actually have 2 separate food lines.

Work downtown so thought Id meet my husband here for lunch, neither of have ever been before. Unfortunately both of iu agreed its very unlikely we will return. I ordered the 1/2 chicken and a salad. Chicken was very small and was so dry. He had the brisket sandwich basket. The brisket was nothing special and the fries were very greasy. Very disappointing experience.

The steaks are the best. The owner is very nice. The help is friendly and the place is clean. This is my second visit and it was just as good as the first. I also read done of the other comments. Im Hispanic as well as my girlfriend. No one, including the customers, treated us bad. Its a good place.

This is something of a regular pre-Dynamo game spot for me now. The staff is very friendly and keep things moving quickly with cafeteria style service. Theres something about their barbecue sauce that I really like and the sides they have are pretty good as well.

Steak day on Thursdays! Steak is juicy, cooked to perfection, and flavorful. Been eating here for years, and enjoy it. The left side has BBQ and right side is cafeteria style (pick entree and sides). Also try the chicken pita sandwich. You will thank me later

Brisket was falling apart, such great flavor and texture. BBQ sauce doesnt wow, but definitely enhances the flavor. Sausage isnt anything to write home about, but good enough. Great place overall, would eat again.

Only in the academic sense was this "BBQ". This is the worst BBQ restaurant Ive been to in 15 years. Horrible food. Staff was polite, but man, they cant cook at all! Will never ever go back.

The meat had absolutely NO flavor! The sides all tasted the same and the wings and fries had no taste other than grease! $40 meal that wasnt even worth $5! Only positive is nice staff.
