This place has some good things and some not so good. Really, I dont understand why restaurants in SA often cant pick one type of Asian cuisine instead of trying to do a little of everything. Food: Ordered some yakitori, tonkotsu ramen, date ordered basil beef and a cocktail. -Yakitori: probably best in SA, it was good, the sauce flavor was not overbearing, I wish they offered a salt or tare option for this but it was still ok. -Ramen: Terrible, do not order this. That being said, it is by far the best bowl of ramen one could hope to find in SA, which is really a shame. >>>WILD GOJI, IF YOU ARE READING THIS, please consider using much less sesame oil more seasoned pork fat, it would turn your bowl around<<< Service: Good, server was super attentive. Food orders came out timely,... for the most part, the ramen was placed under a heatlamp so the nori wilted and looked gross. Ambiance: The restaurant was completely dead when we went around 7PM, the only other table in the restaurant was very obviously the owners (or management, as they continued to go to the kitchen and serve themselves) Overall: Its not bad if you want your run of the mill san antonio asian food, but it is definitely overpriced for what it is. The yakitori, however, is good. If only they would focus on that instead of having the usual all over asia, half-assed recipes menu

So the miso ramen is good. I agree. There is nothing extra ordinary with their miso ramen but its good. Their happy hour sushi are amazing. They put the Wild goji Berries in their water and I think that was cool and at the same time weird... the waiter that was serving us could not understand me. I ended up eating later since he did not accommodate my request the first few time. When I had the miso ramen I asked him for two bowls and spoon to share. He came back with the soup came he didnt bring us any bowls. And so I waited until I got his attention to aka him again. He came back and got one bowl and one spoon and left. I waited again for him to return to my table and I asked for my bowl and spoon. He seemed confused why I asked for a bowl and spoon, he then sigh loud enough for us to hear and came back to give me my request. He was a nice fellow. Just communication gap. Ambiance for the place is good for family and friends or after work gathering. But nothing too impressive.

One word: HORRIBLE! My family went there all excited because we enjoy Japanese food; however, the service was just horrible. We waited there for almost twenty minutes, and none of the two or three waiters asked us what we wanted to drink nor paid attention to my family. The waitress who was serving the couple next to us (LITERALLY NEXT TO US) turned her back to us, totally ignoring us. Then the other guy waiter was trying his best not to make eye contact at all to us. We gave up when two new customers came, because the guy waiter showed them what each menu was for and the specials for today, then two minutes later, asking for what they would like to drink. He then had the nerves to tell us that he thought his fellow worker was already assisting us! WHAT A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! THOSE WAITERS NEED TO BE FIRED. Totally walked out. Only if I can give a zero star because they dont deserve any at all.

a great interior that does not belie the strip mall exterior and really good service. The food itself was nothing special except for the pork belly bun which really was quite good. Started with tempura which needed about 20 seconds more in the fryer, but there was evidence of attention to detail in that each vegetable was cut very well (all sweet potatoes were the same size, all bell peppers were the same size etc.), salmon skin roll came with chewy nori and chewy salmon which was quite disappointing since the crispness of both is really what adds to the umami, curry fried rice was good, except they forgot to add the curry powder. But it was a good fried rice. The ramen was just okay. Pork and noodles both a bit overdone. Will probably give it another shot and try the yakitori which looked pretty good.

the happy hours and drink selections is great, the food is even better!! been here multiple times trying different items every time and not one thing has been bad!!! if short on money, i recommend getting a ramen or noodles, paired with the kabobs (plenty different meats to choose) sushi is great as well staff also knowledgeable about types of fish and where it comes from! with the location so close to major shopping centers and airport in san antonio i have no doubt with their food and service this place will eventually become a common name! until then i continue to eat here and enjoy referring people here!

A fun spot for some Asian fusion munch. The classic rock is much appreciated, as well as the laid back, slightly quirky decor. The food is always good, and they are more than willing to accommodate reasonable requests when it comes to substitutions. On two separate occasions Ive been with someone who orders sushi (or the sushi pizza), which they always go on and on about how great it is, and how fresh the fish is. The four stars falls on the service. While everyone is always very friendly, the feeling of being forgotten about prevails regardless of how busy they are.

Very good late night sushi spot! They are fusion, so you can get a little bit of everything as we did. I had the smoked salmon nigiri and ikura (salmon roe) with quail egg. I also had a spicy salmon hand roll. All of my dinner was very good. We also split some fried oysters appetizer which was very good. They are open until 11:00. We went in at almost 10:00 and the place was still packed. All the food was excellent. The waitress was new but, very nice and had to get the manager a few times to figure things out. Hence, the 4 stars. I will go back.

We are sitting here now and the food is GREAT! the kitchen could not be any slower and still produce food. There was 7 people here eating at 5pm when I got here and it took over 25 min to get 3 different rolls ( volcano roll, four seasons, and the iku iku). The Iku Iku roll was amazing and our favorite. Just wish they were faster. Weve been here almost an hour now and I order a fourth roll (signature roll). So far the food is worth the wait. The water on the other hand taste like chlorine.

Great sushi and Japanese food at great prices. We ate in a Thursday night and they had a special to get ramen and a special roll for $20 with some optional upcharges. We both got that with different rolls, my husband said the iku iku roll he got might be the best roll he has ever had. We also got the fried wonton appetizer which was delicious and very unique. Our server Lily was very friendly and attentive. We were visiting from out of town but if we lived here, we would visit frequently!
