La comida esta deliciosa, verdaderamente un restaurante Mexicano, y el servicio es de primera. Todos los meseros conocen el menu, y siempre ofrecen nuevos platillos. The food at Vida Mia is the best Mexican food in San Antonio, it is nothing like the crappy "tex-mex" food that they sell here. This is truly a Mexican restaurant with amazing service and knowledgeable waiters. They also have great empanadas and other sweets.

I went to Vida Mia and ordered breakfast to go. I asked how long it will take and went back to my workplace to change and get ready. I came back to Vida Mia to pick up my food and what happened next was just awkward. The owner was wondering around on the parking lot with the bag of my food so I followed him and told that he is probably looking for me. He gave me this attitude and sent back to the restaurant telling me that the bag is not mine and my food is not ready. I was waiting inside for the next 15 - 20 and nobody even asked if I would like to have some water. My food was obviously ready and cold when I finally got it. They pretended like nothing really happened and sent me home. Moreover I was late for work. In conclusion, the worst service in the universe and I will definitely never ever be their customer again.

2.5 stars is not an option. The ambiance and music draw you into this cute place. At lunchtime, there wasnt a seat to be found. So far, so good. It went downhill from there. The staff were NOT pleased to see our Yelp coupon for a free dessert empanada. The server varied between curt, rude, and trying to be nice but never succeeding. She acted much busier than she was. The food looked awesome. The flavor was only average. At these prices (relatively high), we expect much better service and food. We had been eyeballing Vida Mia each time we visited other eateries in this mall and had high expectations. Alas, they were foiled. OVERALL: MEH. Will not return. There are too many competing places to do so.

I tried to eat here a few months ago, but came on a Tuesday evening after they closed at 3pm (Sun-Thur 7am-3pm). Came back recently on a Friday evening (open 7am - 9:30pm Fri & Sat) to try it and was very impressed. Ive now been there twice in the last month with my family and its now our new new favorite. True authentic Mexican food, delicious, and the service is very good. Tacos Dorados are outstanding. After our last visit, we talked with the owner and his daughter who does most of the cooking. Both are very nice and truly appreciate their customers. Homemade pastries are excellent as well. Overall great experience and plan to return many times.

I came here last year and the food was great, the pricing was decent, and the portions were hearty. I came today and asked for the half order of chilaquiles and had literally 6 chips on my plate and the rest was sauce and egg and whatnot. It used to be that I couldnt even eat the half order but now Im not even remotely satisfied. They no longer serve you a soup or even give you salsa and chips. Im incredibly disappointed with the way this establishment has begun to cut corners with their increasing popularity. It is a characteristic not uncommon to Mexican restaurants in the stone oak area. I will not be coming again.

Went there.....we stood by the front door for several minutes without even being acknowledged. They were busy but there were at least 3 open tables and they sat the people in front of us and the people behind us without evendors looking at us. Terrible customer service. We decided to just walk out and go somewhere else. If they are trying to run a successful mexican restaurant in San Antonio they better step up their game. There are hundreds of great alternatives in the city.

A gem in a sea of good restaurants Great service, friendly staff, havent found a dish we dont love. Family owned and run, and in April 2016 theyll open a second location at TPC Parkway and Bulverde. Also love that they try to source everything including napkins locally. Highly recommended, though busy over lunch on Sundays... With a small dining room and nearby tables, it may be a little too cozy for some, though not obnoxiously close ala La Madeleine.

Because my family has to eat gluten free, I try very hard to find good food. Over half of there menu was safe for them to eat. While the place is quite crowded, and my wifes dish was not as hot as she would have liked, there breakfast menu was quite extensive, and the flavor is excellent. I wish we had tried this place much sooner.

The food is good but the service is horrible!!! It took 40 min for our table to get some coffee and then an hour to get our food. When we were done Eating we asked for the check and it took like 40 minutes of us to get it as well. Like i said the food is ok it lacks some flavor and they have terrible service

The vibrate colors and cleanliness was a plus walking into this restaurant. The food is amazing. The salsas are so fresh and tasty. The cactus salad is my absolutely favorite! I can have it daily. They have very healthy options. I love it. Try taste and see❤

Amazing food and service. I would highly recommend. I had the mini tacos and my wife had the enchiladas verdes. Chips and salsa were also tasty. Authentic array of home cooked mexican desserts as well as chocolate cake, which my wife loved.

With literally zillions of Tex Mex places close by, this restaurant truly stands out. It offers exceptional food along with great service. If you live in the 78258, this is a place to check out for breakfast or lunch.

Food is delicious, service is not too good. Takes forever to bring the food out. Weve been there more than 5 times and it hasnt improved one bit. Usually, the server is rude and always in a hurry.

Ok casual place for Mexican Food. Would be better if masa for corn tortillas were made from the traditional way, instead of industrialize tortillas or corn flour (Maseca)
