Never a cover. Dont know where to begin but for starters there is no live entertainment but a Jukebox and youre lucky if your selection comes on while youre in there. Place is a dive. Not an upscale place. Its main crowd are guys who are into leather, bears, and older gentlemen. Occasionally there are a few younger college aged guys in the bar but not often. No male dancers. Place needs a complete makeover and a real good professional cleaning crew to clean up the place inside and out similar to Pegasus its (very dirty). In comparison to Sparkys you wont get the attitude here that you get over there because at "The Annex" you dont get much of the college crowd. Best way to describe "The Annex" is its a small bar where everyone knows your name. Its conveniently located near "The Strip" gay area of San Antonio. No dress code. Restrooms are nasty! I will put more stars once I find cash to actually afford one drink and attend the place myself... I honestly think whoever opened that bar is somehow stealing a little bit more than my memory from me. Everything on that blackboard and everything within The Annex itself, I know, for a fact, belongs to me, my family, or my friends. The only thing that makes this look stupid is if I opened the bar and didnt remember... Anyways, may the manager or owner please contact me via Google+ please and thank you. Also, someone lost an LG K7 near to that location, it has my Google account signed in on it, Id like that to either be signed out, or returned to me.

Gay dive bar. Not in the nicest part of town and the bar itself if very run down. However, the place serves cheap drinks and is usually fairly crowded. They also have a patio, but its usually packed full of smokers. Overall the place could use a major facelift. There are much better choices in terms of bars along the Main Street strip. But if dive bars are your thing then this should suffice.

This has got to be the friendliest group of bar staff on OR off The Strip! With super great drink prices and an eclectic mix of music that can be played on demand, pool tables, darts and too many TV screens to count round out the rest of my reasons why I choose The Annex to be my favorite go-to neighborhood gay bar!
