I was craving avocado, and saw a party sitting near the entrance sharing a bowl brimming with fresh slices of it. The menu didnt indicate clearly which appetizer it might be, so I asked my waitress, who merely shrugged and said she didnt know. She made no effort to ask the party or a fellow coworker. I asked if it might be the guacamole but she assured me that it wasnt. She suggested I try the soup, and I did, and it arrived with a single rubbery strip of avocado that was half browned. My friend ordered the enchiladas but the corn tortillas were dry and brittle. We didnt have the food for two minutes before the waitress dropped our check. Mind you, we were planning to have a few more beers and the tres leches cake dessert but the idea of spending another dollar there was absurd. We paid immediately, albeit reluctantly, and left, and on the way out we got a closer look at the neighboring partys dish and realized it WAS in fact the guacamole they had been enjoying. We went directly to Palomas, where both the food and service were immensely better. Do not be fooled by the snazzy decor; you will leave here angry at having wasted money.

Took a party of seven here on a Wednesday night between Christmas and New years. The restaurant wasnt overly busy but service was poor. No silverware, didnt tell us the drink specials and instead tried to upsell us. On top of that, the food was just awful. The queso was simply melted brick cheese with no spice or flavor and they dont give free chips and salsa at all. The chicken in my husbands burrito was rubbery and everything tasted like it came out of a microwave. I will never eat here again.

wow. Ive worked on the riverwalk for nearly three years and this place is AWESOME!!! The food was excellent! You can tell its not frozen or boxed! And there was so much of it I actually took some home. I dont think Ive ever done that before.Our service was so-so because the server seemed slammed, but we ate there during one of the playoff games, so its no wonder he was busy. But he was really cool and likable. Were definitly eating here again!!!

Horrible service. The actual bar seemed like a social hour for the servers. I shouldnt have to ask for chips and salsa twice. Nor should I have to get the waiters attention 25 mins in to take our order. Bad service hands down. Needs new management if you ask me. Plus the food isnt anything to brag about either.

My wife enjoyed the classic frozen margaritas. The bartender was rude. She slammed my wifes margarita and did not offer me a straw for my margarita. This is a good spot for a quick drink. I didnt hang around for the food.

barely a step above taco bell, service was horrible, quesp fundido came out cold, fajitas were cold and the sever brought 4 tortillas for the fajitas for 4 people. certainly wont be back.

Five of us just spent the weekend in San Antonio (May 8-12) and we ate here 3-4 times. We really loved it...Staff was friendly, good food, and Alex did a fine job behind the bar.

Came here at about 8pm on a Saturday and there werent many people there, but the drinks were great. Frozen strawberry margarita with sugar is really good.

The Margaritas where bad and they where out of Crown Royal. They also had a flood while we where there. Not a good time.
