The food was awful, it lacked flavor. The restaurant was dirty, ceiling tiles need replacing, fake plants need to be cleaned, there was evidence of roaches, the wall paint was tired & stained, the floors were filthy, and the counter was overloaded with junk. The staff was very friendly, but friendliness doesnt fill my stomach. Ive been before, several months prior and the food was fantastic! Place was still dirty, but at least the food was good, then. The drop in food quality is probably due to a different cook... Maybe? Also, two men worked the buffet line, in shorts & open-toed sandals. Gross!

This is the only Chinese Restaurant I will go to. Lung Fung by far has the best sesame chicken in San Antonio, Texas. I have been coming here since I was 11 years old and I am now 37 years old. They are family owned and are very friendly and very gracious with everyone. Their lunch buffet starts everyday at 11am to 1:30pm and is Great!!! Go on Thursday for the lunch shrimp buffet special! Evening Buffet is only on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 5pm to 7pm and is Great Too!!! I love the food and love the great service. Lung Fung Chinese Restaurant is #1 in my book!!!!!

I had the broccoli and beef dinner plate, my friend had the mongolian beef. For the price you do get a wholesome plate that will fill you up. In my opinion the beef was bland. It is covered in a nice sauce but youll be chewing the tough meat for a while and it quickly loses all of its flavor. All in all Id say this place is nothing special to visit, decent at satisfying a Chinese craving but nothing worth going out of your way for. Also it advertises a buffet but its only available after 5pm and its a very small table.

As soon as you walk in we didnt knkw if we should sit ourselves or wait to be seated and was awkward. She cared more about sitting with her friends instead of checking on guests. The food was terrible! Everything looked old and was boiling from the warmer overheating it all. Just disgusting! Desserts were pudding and jello! I mean come on! She thinks its worth $10 per person, but in reality thats worth $6 tops! Dont waste your time because there is better.

It was disappointing that my family and I were considered regulars, but when I changed my diet, the staff wouldnt work with me. I wanted extra meat instead of rice....they would only do it if I would pay extra. No other restaurant has required me to do this, but they stood fast even when I explained why. I loved their hot and sour soup, and the place felt like home, and we went weekly. I wish they had been more flexible, like others in the area.

I first found Lung Fung 4 years ago when I was new to San Antonio. The owner, Mia, made me feel special from my first visit. She remembers my name, what I want to drink, what soup I like and what entree I usually choose. She always has a smile and a laugh for me. The food is AWESOME and now I stop there for lunch at least once a week. Stop by and check out the wonderful food and fast and friendly service!

Horrible and over priced food. Its practically all breading, no chicken underneath. This place use to be better. I asked for a receipt and the owner just wrote what I ordered on a paper with my total and told me that their prices went up. I will never return here. Im Hispanic and am willing to bet I can cook better "Chinese" food then what they offer. Very disappointed.

Awesome. I love off-the-grid restaurants that are owned and operated by family members. Especially when they are gracious to their customers. The lady that great me was so funny and genuine. Her customers just love her and I could see why I instantly felt like family myself. Oh, and $7.50 for a lunch buffet? Count me in! Found my new favorite San Antonio secret.

Mediocre Chinese buffet restaurant with limited fare. Egg drop soup seemed to have MSG (way too yellow to be fresh), and the other soup was a tofu of a very dark shade. Fried rice had been sitting too long as had the other items. Couple who run the place seem helpful but the food is not up to par.

The service here was GREAT, the food was GREAT and place itself was pretty nice. The only thing I would have changed was the refills werent free. but when thats the only complaint I can come up with for a restaurant it must be pretty good.

DO NOT EAT HERE!! My daughter watched the guy scrape old food from the dirty dishes he picked up from the dirty tables and scrape them back into the buffet trays of food to serve as new food to new customers!

The chicken fried rice was very bland and the chicken meat was very fatty and poor quality. The wonton soup was very doughy and chewy. Mediocre chinese food. I would not reccomend this place.

GOOD Chinese food, who would have known that a place with a funny name is so damn good! The portions are generous, a couple of entrees is like 4 meals for 2 people, and they are super nice!

It will not win any culinary awards, but it is quick, cheap and a lot of food. The hostess was polite and funny, she got the order correct right away.
