The waiter here is a little on the odd side, very awkward. Especially if u ask him questions abut the menu, its as if he cant answer so he just kind of studders and blinks his eyes really hard. our first time there we asked him to recommend something because we had never been there but he couldnt just give us a straight recomendation without making a huge awkward ordeal. "it depends on what u like, maam" me-"whats ur best seller?" "well it depends on what u feel like eating" and so on. But besides the annoying waiter and the dry lemon grass chicken he finally recommended on our first visit, the food is generally delicious. I love how they have a spin tray of sauces on every table. And yes the spring rolls are amazing.

I heard about em. Read about em and its all true. The spring rolls are the best Ive ever had! Not those dinky things on a buffet stuffed with cabbage. Kim Trans are filled with more meat than vegetables and taste great! My combo (beef, chicken and shrimp) with noodles was huge for lunch, but I ate every bit of it. Only down side was the service was a little (just a little) slow. Probably because it was Friday at lunch time. Also, the restaurant is not huge. Nice place for a party of up to six for lunch, but any larger would be a challenge to sit them all comfortably.

Girl, dont come here. First of all, we had to seat ourselves... and when we did, the waiter acted like we did something wrong. How you tell the guest to grab a menu and then have a seat?? No maam! Every time I come here, the wait is disrespectful and the male worker can never get it together. There was no staff there to greet us this day.Its like they are always undermanned and refuse to hire any help. The food was cute but the service was subpar. Go to King Buffet

Three of us went to eat there. We all agree its not all that. One of us dint care for the soup, we told the server that there was something wrong with it. It still got stuck on the bill, how can someone F!#? Up egg drop soup..? And when I ordered my chicken lettuce wraps, my lettuce fresh not soggy. Never again . First time and last time. Oh and by the way, time served took forever. And there was only the tables. And please pick up on your customer skills..

Drove here for Pho, theres only one pho dish, Pho Beef. Ended up ordering lemon grass chicken off the lunch menu. The chicken is dry stir fried with lemon grass flavor, no juice whatsoever; I highly recommend they add some vegetables to the dish. Eating just dry chicken with steamed rice is not satisfying at all. The egg roll does taste good, but thats about it. Maybe Ill go back to try a different dish that is paired with vegetables.

We ate from here yesterday and we will not be returning! The food was very bland. Idk what kind of "fried rice" they gave us, it was juet yellow and had some hard parts in it. So Im sure some of the rice was old. I had generals chicken and I honestly did not eat it. Waste of money waste of time. I did read the reviews before going to this place but I figured I wont really know until I try myself. Definitely do not recommend!

This is the best Chinese and soup restaurant in san antonio Ive had alot of different Chinese food around but this place tops all of em food is always fresh their soup is the best ever and they have sweet Jasmine iced tea their sesame beef is amazing everything made by real Asian people I absolutely love this place

A year ago this place was the best! Just spent $50 yesterday on the nastiest meal ever. We ordered the Shrimp and garlic plate, Lemon Chicken, Sesame Chicken, Egg Drop Soup and Combo Chicken Rice. Everything simply tasted bad, old, tasteless and dry. I used to love this restaurant but I will never go back now!

The service sucked.... Didnt even wait on us for drinks after sitting there for 15mins. They were taking care of new customers walking in first. Got tried of waiting after 30mins of no service walked out never to return. Customer service sucks!!!

We have been coming to Kim Tran for over 25 years. Each time we come in town now that we dont live here anymore we still stop to eat here. Food prepared fresh. Try the chicken lemon grass with spring rolls, excellent and Jasmine ice tea.

I love their spring rolls. They are great as an appetizer or as a meal. I go here, just for them. The place is really small and run by a family. They are open for lunch and dinner hours, so be sure to check that they are open.

They have really good spring rolls. Their Jasmine tea is to die for! Ive been going here for a couple of years now on a pretty frequent bases and they have had the same two waiters. Usually a light crowd.

NOT A LEGIT VIETNAMESE RESTAURANT. Came looking for pho or bun. What I found was a menu mainly filled with American style Chinese food. Even then the food was not done well and the service was mediocre.

Enjoyed some crunchy sweet and sour chicken. Didnt try any sauces but impressed that the batter wasnt soggy. The restaurant was clean including restrooms. The waiter was sweet and helpful.
