A friend told us about this place. From the outside it didnt look like anything special, so we went in with medium expectations. The food turned out to be really good, the service was awesome. We had the Capo Sub and the Supremo pizza. The sub exceeded my expectations 10-fold, the portion size was large, the bread was really good (maybe my favorite part if the sub), I could have shared it with someone and been very satisfied. The pizza was very delicious, little more expensive than what I would have liked (almost $22 after tax for a large supreme). One negative thing was that I tried ordering a Caesar salad and they said they were out of salads for the day (at about 7:45 pm). Other than that, overall, it was a great place. I will go their again and would recommend it to a friend.

Pretty solid pie; you wont be disappointed. We are staying at the hotel across the street and were happy to find a non-chain pizza joint so close. Wife and I agreed on a supreme, which isnt even my favorite. They gave us a wait time, and it was ready and hot when we moved on over to pick our meal up. It smelled fantastic, far better than that terrible air "freshener" she has in the car. Got back to the hotel, and I can tell you, no bullsh*t hamburger meat here, nothing but a fantastic crust, red peppers, and sliced sausage on top of this bad boy. Im eating the remainder of this thing cold in my hotel room and its still awesome. Forget Pizza Hut, forget Papa Johns. Capos is the bomb.

My first visit so I dont know about the rest of the menu but it was great pizza and cheese bread at an affordable price. My only complaint is that I bought this on Groupon and didnt know there was no dine in available. The owner (I assume) told us that they are not fans of Groupon. Also, there was no menu available. There is one on the wall with a list of Pizza names but there is nothing telling you what toppings are on them. I felt he was a bit gruff with us but I still give them 5 stars for great food and now I know you cant dine in.

Pricier than Dominoes, but worlds better. Fresh ingredients and friendly service. Mine was an extra-large, with spinach, garlic (which he did not charge me for), mushroom, and artichoke. I usually dont get artichoke because most of the time you get canned, and just a few meager pieces. but every piece had about 3-4. was wonderful. Garlic was nice and spicy, crust super tasty. Was worried when I didnt see a brick oven, but still had that nice toasty taste, with little bits of burnt flavor. I love that. Thank you.

Absolutely Amazing!! This Pizza spot has the best Pizza in town. Better than Dough, Grimaldis and other San Antonio Pizzerias. Me an my wife decided to try this place out when it opened sonce it is very close to us. We are so happy we did. Everything is made from scratch and it is so delicious. I have tried their Pepperoni Pizza, their amazing Subs and the Pizza Rolls. Everyone needs to try this place out. Food and Service are outstanding. The prices are great and we come almost every other day.

Wow, this place really lives up to the reviews. Ordered garlic knots to start with, which were made with delicious house-made dough and topped with a really tasty garlic mix. Got a large supremo, which had lots of quality toppings and was baked to perfection. One of the best pizzas Ive had in a long time! Also ordered a calzone, which was massive and filled with ingredients. This place deserves so much more business and will be my go-to for local pizza from now on.

The pizza is SERIOUSLY not that bad but rating it a three due to the let down. Im from out of town and was looking for a really good pizza place. It was voted best of 2017 in San Antonio so we picked capos. The crust was the best part. It had great flavor. The sauce was okay and toppings was mediocre. Expected an organism in my mouth but got a drunken one night stand that I just ended falling asleep on. Disappointing.

Let me start by saying I am very particular about pizza. Ive been to Capos three times now and they make a very fine pizza indeed. Im certain I will be a regular. The dough, sauce, and cheese are top notch. They cook it perfectly. And the owner and employees are very pleasant and nice. I would starve rather than settle for the crap the chains serve. Finally, good pizza in my neighborhood!

You wouldnt know it from the unassuming building, but within is some really great pizza! We tried the pizza and wings. Pizza was delicious, I can see why they were voted 2017 best pizza in SA. Wings were pretty solid, nothing extraordinary, but a good addition that I would have again. Great food, friendly staff, and all at a great price. Cant wait to come back and try the subs.

Wow, the best NY style in San Antonio and trust me Ive tried most of them! Not expensive either... Owner is friendly and the place has a nice family-owned feel. He moved over to Broadway from the Blanco location so now youve a decent amount of seating if you want to eat in. Watch out though the place gets busy at lunchtime. My advice to you is to call your order in ahead.

Weve been looking for a fast and easy pizza place up here that also has great food and weve definitely found it! Our old go to used to be Freetail (which is still great), but Capos is closer to the house and has a very friendly staff, fresh ingredients, and overall a great pie. Since discovering them, I think weve gotten pizza at least once a week! Definitely worth a try.

We were picking up someone from the airport and wanted a place close by to eat. Checked nearby areas on google maps and found this place (with great reviews). Looks like a new place that just recently opened up for dining in. The food was much better than expected. We will definitely visit again. The owner came out to say hello and asked what we thought of the food.

Place is amazing. The best Pizza place in San antonio by far. Anytime friends come in from out of town I always take them there. The cheese strakes are amazing, best Pizza Ive had in a long time. Rick the owner is one of the coolest nicest guys youll ever meet, real stand up guy. I love capos, if your looking for pizza give it a try you wont be disappointed.

My family and I recently moved to SA from NY and this pizza is a sad excuse for NY pizza. The garlic knots are dough with Parmesan cheese sprinkled on it. Not even remotely close to real garlic knots. The pizza wasnt terrible (thats why I gave them 2 stars), but we were extremely disappointed. If youre looking for real NY pizza...look elsewhere.

Hand rolled dough made daily, check. Quality pizza for a decent price, check. Locally owned business with a guy named Rick behind the counter, check. Overall awesome grinds, check. Order for pickup and be amazed if you make it home without getting into the box for a slice. He also supports the local community. Thanks Rick and keep it up.
