Horrible, we went here today for Mothers Day Brunch because my wife wanted to as this is (was) one of her favorite places for Sunday Brunch. What was horrible, short answer "everything". We got there right when they opened, so no waiting for a table. We were the fourth party seated. Then we waited, & waited, & waited. 10 minutes for the brunch menu, then 5 minutes for the drink order, then 45 minutes for the food, which was OK, but it was basically bacon & eggs, so not real challenging. Our waiter told us no bacon on the Bloody Marys because it was Mothers Day and they might run out. What? you cant stock more because you think you might be busy? What is the shelf life for bacon, a year? Next they announced they were out of orange juice for Mimosas. The patio was still not full at this point and only a few tables inside were occupied. 90 minutes later, we finally gave up on our waiter to come to get the signed ticket so we took it to the bar. I asked the man that rang it up if they had recently fired their manager. He said "No, I am the manager". Really? Could have fooled me that this business has a manager. When I asked why they were so slow, he replied a couple of people didnt show up today". If this is true, why not put up a sign that says "Pardon us, but the service is going to suck today because we failed to make sure we had enough help for Mothers Day".My wife now says she will never go back,. Sad, because it used to be a nice place to go. On the way out, we noticed about 6 parties sitting, waiting to be seated even thought there were 12 empty tables on the patio and 6 or so inside. I hope they are soon out of business so someone else can take over this property and make a nice restaurant out of it again.

The first time we ate here the service was great and the food was yummy. Unfortunately, the second time wasnt as great . We WANT to like this place. We WANT to love the food. But, when you wait over an hour for your appetizer and then your food comes out ill prepared 5 mins later, plus the waitress is snotty and has a bad attitude....it makes it super hard to like anything abt this place. Both times, I ordered the Ribeye Hash Benedict. The first time the ribeye was cut into bite size pieces. It was juicy, flavorful, and tender. The egg was properly poached where the whites were done and the yolk flowed! This time the ribeye was just plain gross. It looked and tasted like overcooked pieces of already been chewed meat. The egg looked like a chopped up hard boiled egg. I refused to eat it. When I said as much, the waitress did not offer to have it remade nor did she offer to take it off the check. As a matter of fact she rolled her eyes and walked off. My husband got the Duke Burger both times. Both times, he loved it. However, he asked for the grilled onions and mushrooms to be put on the side--they were left off the plate completely--and, he never got any ketchup for his fries. Maybe we will try one of the other locations next time.

We recently visited this place for brunch. We had a large group of people and the place was not busy at all. We called ahead of time to let them know how many people were going to be there and they seemed to be very accommodating. When we got there they had set up the tables for us and we thought well this is great! Then we let them know that we were going to need one more table as we had some others joining us. They were very rude and said "Really, we are running out of tables" (Like I said there was hardly anyone there and there were still plenty of tables that could have been added). We had roughly 30 people there, they gave us 1 waitress to take care of us. When we would ask anyone for anything (drink, creamer etc...) It took forever to get anything. We would have to ask several times and be told either "oops, I forgot or we are working on getting some from the back" How hard is it to bring creamer to the table when you finally drop off someones coffee. I was very disappointing in our experience as this was a going away brunch for a close friend. The food was eh and the service was terrible. Needless to say, this was my first and last time going there. Which is sad because I was very excited about it!

Very personalized & friendly service, a wide range of food options and a very relaxed setting is what you will find at The Londoner. Jumping right in to my tips: -Get there before 6pm and enjoy 1/2 priced appetizers (the Rueben Fritters...pictured with this review, Wings - I suggest sauce on the side as they can be blazin, and the Mediterranean platter are my favorites. -The Fish & Chips are very high quality and the fries are spot-on. Make sure to save your sauce from the wings and put some in the tartar sauce for a perfect dipping sauce. -When in supply, you must try the draft Kronenbourg 1664 Blanc...it has quickly vaulted to the top of my beer favorites list. The only thing keeping this business from being packed to the gills is its location, as it is just off the NE quadrant of the Rockwall Square on Hwy 66. So its a bit hidden compared to many of the spots on I-30s frontage roads. One final tip, parking can be a bit confusing, if it looks full, not let that dissuade you. Just pull in where it says valet and it should be free to their patrons. Great great times to be had at The Londoner...youll fall in love with their staff too.

Ive decided one of two things; either the eleven reviews on The Londoner are from friends and family, or Im the most dramatic diner EVER. I have to believe its the latter. This, hands down, has to be the worst service in Rockwall, and this is the third time Ive been here. Im not forming my opinion from an emotional, "wah, wah, they didnt make me feel special" point of view, but from a, they clearly dont take pride in what theyre doing point of view. Seriously, Ive never met more people who dont give a crap than they do. Im assuming its not the servers fault, this is a pride that is missing from the top down. Maybe I expect too much, who knows. When I sit down at a restaurant and have two servers acknowledge every table around me, but not make eye contact with mine for 30 minutes because no one told them to look, thats a problem. Dont waste your time or money here, go to Zanatas. Its the only really boutique restaurant in town.

Went for lunch after church. Lots of parking available, so we thought it would be quick. It usually is unless we go @ a busy time. Then you are lucky to get waited on, unfortunately. This day, the staff had been thrown off by the hostess not showing up for work. We stood for minutes, waiting to be acknowledged. The bartender finally left the bar and seated us, after several waiters had stated @ us. We did not get waited on, again after several waiters walked past our table. We were about to leave, when a friendly waiters offered to wait on us. He had already passed our table twice. Guess 3rd time was the charm. Of course by now we know what we wanted to order. After what seemed enough time to go out to the chicken house and retrieve 3 eggs for my omlet, the waiter informed us that my husbands Reuben was up, he was waiting on my omlet. It will probably be a while before we go back.
