Food is outstanding. Service not so much. Would get more stars if it wasnt for the service. Called in and was told 40 mins. Got there at the 40 min mark. Half an hour later nothing. Got told our order was next and watched as three orders went out. Then having said something our order was getting made. Got a free roll for the troubles. I understand its a new business, but some help would help. Again food is outstanding and very reasonably priced. Just remember its going to be a long wait so be prepared. **Update*** Have been back many times and this place is fantastic. They have gotten better with service and the food is outstanding. Its the best Oriental food in town!!

I had the spicy salted chicken and it was very good! The rice was cooked perfectly. The chicken had a perfect mix of flavor and spice. My girlfriend had a chicken pho soup that was very good as well. We shared some egg rolls and spider rolls. No complaints there either. The waitress was very patient, answered our questions, and was friendly. I look forward to going back.

Wonderful Sushi rolls made by an expert! Highly recommend the Blair City Roll. The Spicy Salted Shrimp is the best. Sushi is not fast food & each order is made by hand, to order by a master sushi chef. expect a wait regardless of how many servers. If you need a quick in & out, there is plenty of fast food in Blair. The cuisine at Hoshi Palate is WORTH the wait.

We order take out from here a couple times a month. The speed of service has greatly improved (usually 20 minutes for a basic Chinese order). We love the sesame and general tsos chicken. Crab Rangoons are AWESOME! We have also had the sushi and it is great - loved the spicy crab roll. So happy to have such good food in Blair!

Eating here on a sunday. Its not even 3 and theyre open until 9. Ordered some fried food and cant even get it because their fryers are off. Had to choose completely new food other than the teriyaki chicken I ordered. The food we did get was pretty good. But i am still unhappy that we had to choose all new food.

The food is fresh, tasteful, and presented very well. Serve is much better the it was. Would recommend to anyone who wants a taste experience.

The sushi is awesome! The Hawaiian Barbecue Roll is delicious! They are busy, so service can be slow.
