LITERALLY A DECENT INDIAN "BISTRO" WITH FOOD TOURING EXPERIENCE ##### I RECOMMEND ##### TRIVIA : Interesting story - the owner (Mr. Raja) and his dad(Shree Venkat) used to travel around a lot, Dad was a professional chef in similar cuisine, and now, son with his friend have opened a bistro. And the son does justice, is a very humble person.Check out Pics that i have uploaded They are located in ROCKWALL on i30 Quick Trip lots of parking available, very convenient location PLACE : urban, accessible, busy and crowd CUISINE : Indian (south-north) FOOD : The prices are very affordable. quantity is fine. A typical indy-food-joint taste, and is good. Must Try - Palak Paneer, malai kofta, chicken kurma, chicken vindaloo, garlic bread. Their lunch combos(more like buffet set up) is one of the rare set ups which tastes fresh and has good selection and is bigtime value for money Also have had puri-bhaji before, biryani. Great food all the items were upto the palate, and the order was delicious. AMBIENCE and STAFF : Ambience is a typical bistro, buzzy yet peacefull Staff : floor staff is generally one person, the"OWNER HIMSELF" Mr. Raja is a gr8 individual at service, is very humble (again gr8ly welcome).

This is the most fantastic best-kept secret in Rockwall! The place is amazing!! My wife and I felt the food was totally gourmet, and this place is almost unknown! That just floors me. The food is superb and the waiter is eager to please and full of suggestions if you ask. Highly recommended. Just dont tell them youd like "medium spicy" if youre not up to the challenge. We eat spicy food a lot, and it was almost too much for us. UPDATE: In a subsequent trip, we confirmed that the food and service is amazing. But ditto to the spice warning as well; food that they didnt feel was spicy at all was still spicy to us. So if youre really sensitive to that type of heat, you might want to stay away or stick to really safe menu items like the rice and naan, etc.

This is the BEST restaurant I have been to in a LONG time... and shockingly the food is so tasty and fresh and made to order! I havent had Indian food in awhile, and my husband didnt want to go to a sit down restaurant because we were pressed for time, but I saw it said "express" so I was able to convince him. The vegetarian dishes he had were full of flavor the chicken briyani wasnt greasy like Im accustomed to from other places, and the chicken tandori was fresh out the oven and JUICY and better than the time Ive had it homemade from my coworker that grew up in India. If youve never had Indian cuisine this is a great place to try it, and the owner was so friendly.

True Indian food. So delicious! We ordered the Palak Paneer, Chicken Tikka Kabab and Kadai Chicken. The Chicken Tikka Kabab (Tandoor Specialties) takes approx 12-15 minutes to make, but worth the wait. While waiting, we enjoyed the lentil wafers and chutneys. Mmmmmmmm! We cannot wait to go back. They do not skimp on rice, lentil wafers, flavor or service. The staff is so kind and willing to explain the menu. We are so glad that Rockwall finally has an Indian restaurant that is worth going to.

Good little place. Imagine a Subway sandwich shop redecorated... so yes, it has somewhat of a fast food Indian feel to it, if I may, but I was pleasantly surprised with the taste. I do prefer a bit more spice but they are preparing for the masses. Roger was nice to us and I assured him that I had made my last trip to Frisco for Indian food for a while. I will eat there again.

Very good!! I ordered take out and they told me it was going to be a 25 minute wait. I told them that was fine and came back 20 minutes later and my delicious food was just coming out of the kitchen and being packed up. It was amazing. Im visiting the area and will definitely go back again before I leave. Wonderful quality food and staff was very friendly.

I just took my family here for the first time, and it was perfect. Every dish that we tried was excellent, particularly the Chili Chicken and Spinach Paneer. We all shared everything, everyone was happy. It is very clean and pleasant, if a bit plain, inside- typical strip mall. Its great having good Indian food in Rockwall- now we need good Chinese!

Do yourself a favor and have a meal at Curry Express Indian Bistro. The flavors are bold and amazing. The only caution Id offer is to be certain of your spice preference. If youre unsure, go one spice level lower. Otherwise, you are in for a treat. Portion size is generous. Service is friendly and excellent. Ill definitely be heading back!

Owner did not state that Uber menus does not match restaurants menu, ordered to go $50+ Worth and they sent NO rice or Nan, called restaurant and owner said he knew Uber meals different because of price, really you could not add rice. The entire large bag of rice is $4, you must not want costumers too bad!! We will not be back!

Tasty food, great, friendly service! My husband and I enjoyed our dinner here on a Friday evening. It wasnt very crowded as it was a little early, around 6 p.m. The staff was extremely friendly and they were prompt with table service. The food was freshly cooked and had all the flavors you expect. We WILL be returning again.

Service is quick. The quality of food is outstanding!! There are tons of vegetarian options and they have all the traditional dishes you would expect to find. The samosas have such perfect flavor and consistency. The few deserts we have tried are also outstanding! Owner is friendly and attentive.

Absolutely wonderful! If I lived in the area I would eat here every chance I had. The garlic Naan was amazing. The Masala was perfect to share with my 4 year old...flavorful but not spicy. The portions are very large. 4 people shared 2 plates & we had left overs.

This places is delicious. Cozy athmosphere, cafeteria style lunch. I had biriyani and paneer was flavorful with all the fresh spices. The lunch came with free dessert and naan. I dont even usually like gulab but tje gulab here was so delicious. Great lunch!

Under new management. Well worth the visit! Instead of a lunch buffet, they serve you cafeteria style (think of a small Indian Lubys). You choose 1, 2, 3, or 4 entrees. Very good Indian! Nice and friendly staff. Highly recommended!

Great food, was a bit put off by the hole in the wall look of the place, but the service and food is excellent. My new favorite Indian food takeout... They even gave me something to eat while waiting for my order. Two thumbs up.

Been here three times now and the food just gets better. The biryani both chicken and shrimp are out of this world. Slash also v nice for a milder taste. Service is top notch. My favorite place in Rockwall now. VERY AUTHENTIC.

Like Panda express with Indian food, just not as many choices. Order at the counter, pick from 1 to 3 entrees, comes with naan and rice. New place, clean, food is good and staff friendly.
