And Ive been all over the world! The service is super fast and amazingly friendly. The place is clean and quirky. We had samosas (my spelling is the worst) it came with a red chutney I dont know the name of and a mint one; they were both delicious. The samosas were hot, fresh and tasty. I ordered a roasted eggplant dish and garlic naan. My eggplant dish reaffirmed why being a vegetarian is so rewarding. Oh! and the raita I had with it was perfectly balanced. Which reminds me, so was my lovely, hot chai. The garlic naan is going to keep me up because I cant stop thinking about its perfect texture and flavor! My boyfriend ordered chicken tikke masala which he makes sure to do at every indian restaurant and said this was without a doubt, the best of his life. Did I mention the staff was awesome, they kept replacing our dishes with clean ones, filling our glasses and coming to check on us. The propretor who is only 22 (a fierce life-long work ethic made this happen) came to talk, he in all seriousness invited us to go to India and meet his mother, oh yeah! and gave us a complimentary desert. Top that with any other Indian restauran or any restaurant for that matter! I cant wait to try their daily buffet. They recommended I come early to get the best of the best. "I have a new place to live!" I told them. And they said they would make room in the basement...I asked them if they had cable, I just gotta have my cable.

This was the first time I visited Flavors since the big refurbishment. The restaurant has no atmosphere, the staff not particularly friendly, and to top it off, the food was terrible. I ordered the Tandoori mixed grill. The onions were burnt to the bottom of the skillet, and the meats were very overcooked. It was hard to distinguish the lamb from old shoe leather. (though I must admit I have not eaten shoe leather, but can only Imagine it) I have never seen such a runny raita sauce, or one having more bland than what I was served tonight. I liked it when it was dark, with its cheap tree lights and GREAT food. This restaurant has definitely lost my familys business after today.

Flavors is my favorite restaurant in Omaha. I go for the buffet at least once a week, and sometimes more. The staff is friendly and always greet me by name. As a vegan, I can always count on many suitable items, however, the one time that there was only one item for me on the buffet, the owner personally brought me a dish from the kitchen that he knew to be my favorite. As long as Ive have been going to Flavors, I am still impressed to see new dishes on the buffet, and even the standard items are sometimes prepared using different recipes. I would also recommend visiting Flavors on a Saturday when the dishes seem to be geared more for the traditional Indian family audience.

I want to thank you - especially our waiter who served us with warmth and genuinely friendly service Saturday Feb 4. I brought 10 college students and colleagues for dinner after a conference. The food was awesome, the service even better. Several students enjoyed Indian food for the first time and everyone had a wonderful experience - some even eating with their hands as our Nepalese student shared! Thank you! I have enjoyed Flavors before - and your reputation with local Indian residents is the best! We will be back. The students raved. Dhanyawaad - - Thank you in all languages. My husband and I tried Indian food 4 years ago in another state and it was awful. So we were not real excited about ever trying it again. A friend of ours recommended Flavors to us so we thought we would give it a try. We LOVED it! The food was excellent and so was the service. It was a great restaurant all-around. I cant wait to go back. So for anyone who is looking to try Flavors I highly recommend it and if you don’t know what to order just ask the staff. They were great about helping us find the "flavors" we liked. My husband and I had completely opposite preferences but we both found things we loved.

We came to eat the buffet at 1:30 pm and it closed at 2 pm. The food was luke warm and picked through. I was so unimpressed. People were still showing up to eat and they still never put fresh food out. All the desserts were gone. The naan was gross...Heres a tip, bring fresh naan to each table instead of out on the buffet. The raita was sooooo runny. I ordered a mango lassi and it was too thick. I seriously could not enjoy the food. As a business you have to impress until the last minute and this place failed in doing so.

I was surprised when I moved to Omaha that their would be a great Indian Restaurant. I am a fan of their lamb biriyani, chicken tikka masala, and shrimp curry. They do have a wide array of different options during their lunch buffet. They cater to all customers and have different spice levels in which you can chose from. Some other restuarants will make their meals bland but this restuarant is true to its name. Highly recommend this place for those who appreciate authentic indian food. Cheers!

I used to come here constantly...Great Indian food that was extremely close to my apartment...However, in the last year or so it seems the food, and even the service is lacking...The food at times is still pretty good, but under the old owners it had something that it currently lacks...And while the service hasnt been truly bad recently, it also has a feeling of missing something that the previous crew always had...I come here cause its close, but if there was a better option Id happily go...

This place looks decent and thats the only possible good review i can write about this place. The food was horrible. Service was bad. They served me burnt dosa with stale chutteny. The pakaodas were raw. How can any restaurant serve such food? The food didnt taste anything like authentic Indian food. I will never suggest this place to any of my friends and i am sure i never want to visit this place again.

We , along with 3 other families with us visited Flavors on a Friday evening. With the place all full with guests, it did take a little longer time than expected but the food that came in was awesome. Just enough quantity , great taste and value for money: We all loved our dinner here. It really easy to find an Indian restaurant but extremely difficult to find one that is great. Flavor is great.
