Connected to a library, plus Outside sitting, nice Dog friendly, sweet Wish the staff was more energetic about their product, minus Whenever I visit somewhere new, I buy whatever the staff recommends (within my budget). This helps me gauge whether this is a five star or four star. Two employees fell on their ass over this concept and I was subjected to picking out something by myself. Minus I know this is a strange concept, but just one time try it, I use this tactic to empower the employee to be helpful. One because it makes them feel useful and two (not to be a dick) its their job. Note* this idea doesnt work too well on commercial companies (fast food/chain restaurants) because their pre-programmed to think this way. So far the atmosphere is good, when I return Ill give them another shot to earn those two missing stars. Good luck

You would be hard pressed to find a coffee shop as hospitable; with great coffee, tea, smoothies, and sandwiches. Whoever wrote the review below, your wrong!!! If you cant afford to spend $1 or 2 then stay home...JavaMeUp is a diamond in the rough! Etiquette seems to have become extinct these days. Show some class in a classy place! Basically, when you dont have any money (that includes me) then stay home or go into the library where the wi fi, computers, and books are free. The employees are friendly and polite! Theyll do everything they can to make the customers happy!

I complete agree with other reviews. I love to get insight on what the employee likes. Anywhere we go, we ask the employee what they recommend, specially if its our first time. We want to know what makes your company great and different from all the other places. The girl who took our order was not helpful. She was bothered by questions we asked. She literally handed the menu in an aggressive way. Another guy stepped up and gave us valuable information. The coffee and food was good and the area is great, but not sure we will be back because of the customer service.

I have been to this place multiple times, and bought lots of coffee and frozen lemonades from here.. Today I was up there studying when the chick who worked there (not the owner) came up and told me I had to leave because the reusable Jamba Juice cup I was drinking TAP WATER out of wasnt allowed.. Really??? I couldnt believe what I was hearing. Ill never spend another dime in that place. Its not like I can afford to spend $6 on a cup of coffee every time I go there, but I dont mind helping out the local businesses.. Im over that place though.

most of the regulars here are enjoying the quick service, and most customers here are white snobby privileged types. So props for the service, some of which are quite ontop of it and others are irresponsible younger ones that have more important things to do behind the counter other than the customers. the thunderstorm hit me once on a stroll outside and i was greeted in and provided free water. the next day back ordered a coffee and never got it. So keep your eye on the employees and pick and choose.

The only real thing going for it is the convenient location. I ordered a cappuccino and received a boiling hot mess. Over steamed milk, foam with inconsistent air bubbles, and a wait time that tricked me into thinking they were harvesting the coffee beans themselves. I cant speak about the food as I did not have any but the coffee is definitely overpriced and the baristas could all use a lesson or two in how to organize and prepare drinks. TL;DR Come here for the convenience not the substance.

First coffee shop Ive ever been to and will always be the only coffee shop I go to. The staff are crazy nice, the atmosphere is great for concentration and the desserts, foods and drinks are awesome with great prices. I go there so much, I dont even have to say anything to the cashier because they take the time to know their customers so well. Hands down best place to go for group meetings or just for some alone time with a tasty treat.

Hi , I am a regular customer at the cafe considering I am a part of the running club which has its meeting place as the cafe. I just wanted to shout out to Hailee[ hope I got the spelling right] today for just making my coffee the way I want it without me even telling her. I have always seen them greet us with a smile and today I felt they genuinely care for their customers ! Great job !

This place is great. I just moved here and have come here several times now and its perfect for studying. The staff is on point. For example, today, there was no attitude when I asked them to wipe down the table I wanted (they actually apologized to me!). Another employee (or maybe the manager?) walks in and immediately takes my empty plate. Excellent service and a nice calm vibe.

Been to many coffee shops around town and this is by far my favorite. Much more comfortable that Starbucks, the staff are friendly, i love the music, some nice art on the walls, plenty of windows for natural light, and its not so noisy as a lot of places. Plenty of seating, lots of electrical outlets everywhere. and a nice patio, with the library and "river" walk right there too.

Great place. Ive been going there most every day for years. Great coffee cakes, breads, deserts, smoothies and sandwiches in addition to many different coffees and teas. They are good at special requests on sandwiches, etc. Friendly people. If you get coffee and something to eat, definitely consider getting some banana bread to go.

I have been coming to this place off and on for the past 10 years since they opened. Never a bad experience, and the best mom and pop coffee shop you will find in the metroplex. Nestled right by the Irving public library and connecting Campion Trail system. Stellar service, never dissapoints. Always a good time at Java Me Up.

This place is the best local coffee shop I know. They have great food, great coffee and amazing desserts. The atmosphere is great and they now have a covered patio. Tricia Ward, the cafe owner, is incredibly hospital and the entire cafe staff provides great service. JavaMeUp is highly recommended! Youll be glad you went.

They have great sandwiches, pastries, coffee drinks, & smoothies. They stock a few soft drinks and newspapers, too. The staff is hospitable. Its a great neighborhood coffee shop with a large patio by the canal, WiFi, and plenty of seats with outlets. It is connected to the library, but has much longer hours.

The owner is friendly and the coffee is DiViNe! I start my day by grabbing a cup of Misty Valley every morning. I dont know who wrote the review below, maybe starbucks singed his or her tastebuds. They offey many delectible snacks sweets and sandwiches (many of which are home-made). Kudos to you JavaMeUp.

Spacious patio with beautiful view of Valley Ranch canal, quality products and professional, friendly staff. Its family owned and the customer service is reflective of an appreciation for each & every patron. Become a regular and support this fine small business.

Cant say enough great things about Java Me Up! I spent many hours studying there and, when I lived in Valley Ranch, it was my first stop every morning on the way too work. Great service! Great coffee and food! Peaceful patio looking out over the lawn and canal.
