The food here is wonderful. Absolutely wonderful...but nothing will ruin an experience faster than poor customer service. Today, my husband and I came for breakfast and ordered (2) Fritattas, a chocolate croissant, and a coffee. We had a pleasant chat while we ordered and oohd and aahd over the stocked cabinet of beautiful baked goods. Doris offered the option to pay after the meal, but we opted to go ahead and pay (with tip) at the beginning, as we expected the experience to be great. When our plates arrived, my husband had 5 potato slices (and a chunk) fanned out next to the fritatta. My plate had 2 and a quarter. I approached the gentleman behind the counter and said, "Excuse me. I only got 2 potatoes (and a chunk) with my dish. My husbands has 5. " I didnt get to even ask if I could have a few more before he went to let Doris know. We sat there eating for a few minutes and she came out and said, "His potatoes are just spread out." No...they were not. His had 5. Mine had 2. No apology. No "I apologize. I will grab you a few extra." Nothing. She just went back into the kitchen. I could have just said nothing. The portions are reasonable....its not like we expected pancake house-sided portions of home fries...but I would have liked a side, rather than a garnish. I could have eaten the piece that my husband offered and moved on. But I wanted my husband to enjoy his breakfast...and that man loves his potatoes! I waited to see if they were still going to bring out a few. They did not. I finished my meal and returned to the register to request a copy of my receipt. The gentleman behind the counter said, very quietly, "Im sorry about that. " That was the end of it. I come here abut once a week. My husband and I came on Valentines Day and waited over an hour for 2 egg dishes and a crepe. I came back the following week for breakfast (solo) and told Doris how I wanted so badly to help pre-bus tables and help wash dishes for her that day. It was so busy and I knew so many people were becoming impatient. I just wanted to see things run smoothly for them, because we love this business so much! When I come in the mornings, I brag to the other customers in line and more than once, someone has added extra items to their order at my recommendation. We tipped them 20% of our check (before receiving the meal) because we love the food and we the staff is always friendly. We werent tipping for service. They dont provide refills of water or coffee. They drop your drinks, plates, and silverware...thats it. And we were ok with that. We have never expected a restaurant service experience. While we finished up our breakfast, several other patrons came in. I knew that I wanted to request a reversal of the tip, but I wanted to do so over the phone. The other patrons deserved to enjoy their breakfast, and there was no other way for them to avoid overhearing my request. When I called, Doris (the owner) answered and I said, "Hello. I was just in there and I wanted to request a reversal of the tip on my card. I didnt want to say anything in front of your other guests." She said, "Are you the one with the potatoes? Ok. We will reverse the tip, but we do not want you to come here anymore." I never showed that I was upset. I waited until after we left to call. I did not want my bad experience to "put a bad taste" in the mouths of the other 3 tables in the cafe. I wanted the $5 tip to be reversed, but I did not ask for a refund. The last 2 times I ordered the fritatta, it was missing the ricotta listed in the menu description and one of those times..the green onions as well. I never complained. People make mistakes. But when you have the opportunity to rectify a situation, at very little expense to your business (and for a very loyal customer)...you do it. But to ask a client to never return (in this situation)...unimaginable.

Everything I have had hear is great. It is pricey, but it is FRESH DAILY. It almost like a bakery in Europe except you hear way too much English in there and the bread is not quite as full bodied and crunchy as it is in Europe. But if you close your eyes and bring in some recordings of native Europeans speaking, Ill bet you couldnt tell the difference! :o) This applies to all of the savoury breads, all the sweet stuff is exactly what you would find in Europe bread wise. All the food is first class. If you go once, you will be hooked. Pflugerville support this place it is the best place for baked products anywhere close.

One of the thinks that I miss the most from growing up in Europe is their bread and pastries. It seems that taste and consistency have completely surrendered to looks in this country. Until you step into La Patisserie in Pflugerville. What appears to be nice croissants and pain-au-chocolats turn out to be OUTRAGEOUSLY fantastic and authentic masterpieces of the art of pastry-making. When taking the first bite, I immediately had an out-of-body experience, taking me back to a sidewalk cafe in Paris. Thank you Doris, for bringing an authentic part of France this side of the pond!

We took a trip to Paris about 4 years ago and always joke about how hard would be to go back to the US to eat regular bread and pastries after being delight with the Parisian bread and pastries. Then we found this cafe and it was almost like going back to the small cafes on Paris. it is totally the kind of small cafe with a family friendly touch. You dont go there for the fancy decoration but for their delicious food and the kindest and heartwarming vibe of the owner.

It was very randomly how we found this place. My wife was looking for a place to have a breakfast and they were at the bottom of the searches. I thought I knew every place in Pflugerville but turns out not. Dorci the owner needs help here because she does both cooking and serving. Our food was great though. So I recommend everyone to come check them out.

This was my go-to during my pregnancy. Its great for a quick treat or something nice for a dinner party. My favorites are the almond croissants, chocolate mousse, and the macarons. The staff are friendly and recognize regulars quickly. Theres not a ton of seating, but you can usually find a table. The only bad part is that they close early!

I can tell they dont just throw the food together but they take care and use really good quality ingredients. There was a French man in there who had placed a large order for some kind of French organization so that says a lot to me. I was very impressed by how delicious the chocolate croissants and frittata were.

Love this French bakery! Not only is the owner the sweetest and helps me to retain my French by speaking to me in her native language, but her food is authentic and at a reasonably low price. I have yet to find another French bakery as good as this one, in the States.

The best little hideaway! Great coffee and food! Had the ham and cheese croissant this morning. So delicious! This place is right next to a Starbucks, and I always laugh at the cars waiting in line because the best coffee is right next door with no line!
