It takes a lot for me to write a negative as I myself work in a customer service atmosphere and understand the frustrations that come with this industry, but this Sonic is a sorry excuse for the name. Went there one night this week for ice cream (Sonic Blast to be specific) and was told they were out of Reeses (you are located across the street from a grocery store and in a pinch should more than able to run across the street and restock) .. went there 2 days later and was told they were out of ice cream but could still provide a shake?? Doesnt a shake require ice cream?!? Beyond disappointed with the constant diservice from this location, not to take a stab or Sonic because every other location Ive been to in the surrounding area (New Braunfels) has been exceptional .. this Canyon Lake location is terrible. I understand the convenience being that its the only fast food in our area but that doesnt excuse the lack of care in this place. We were excited to try this location since its near our home. However, when we ordered I asked for a 12 piece buffalo wing with onion rings and they brought me out an order of 6, when I asked about it she said, "oh it wont be anymore money"I said "ok" and they brought me another 6 and then proceeded to tell me it would be 6 dollars. Then asked if it was different price since i wanted the combo in the first place and she argued with me that it was the same price either way. Theres no way. I just wanted what i had order in the forest place. I expected it to be the price i had thought it would be originally. Instead i paid for 2 different orders and the manager argued with me. I was too annoyed to stay and explain simple math to this woman. I am a manager at a nice restaurant in town and would have just fixed it and not argued. Definitely unprofessional and rude. Probably wont be back unless its my olny option. Perhaps they should hire some people that dont look like they spent the morning doing hotrails off a coffee table.

Been there several times now and every time I have to repeat myself at least twice they either need better speakers and headphones or the people need to listen better. I have only had my order messed up once. We had order Jr sonic burgers and they have us regular sonic burgers. It wasnt a terrible mess up but at the same time we didnt have alot of money with us so we were just getting the smaller burgers luckily we had the money to cover the regular ones. So far the food had been excellent but agree with everyone else the staff needs more training and they also should have a couple of experienced people on staff here instead of just throwing these kids into this job.

The ONLY thing good about this Sonic location is their consistency, for letting me down. Today was my 4th visit since they have opened and I have yet had a good visit. From messing up on the orders, to just downright horrible service. After eating there tonight, both my wife and I became ill to the stomach for several hours, a good case of food contamination more than likely. The store manager has neglected to speak to either my wife or myself about past experiences, todays will be no different im sure. MY recommendation about this location, drive past it to another town if you must have Sonic, you will thank me. Embrace the suck Sonic Canyon Lake.....

Its great to have something of such convenience, however the employees have been poorly trained. Dropping drinks and food multiple times, the car next to me was served first when we were there before them, and we had a small order. The young employees are quite unprofessional, and for fast food I dont expect them to be as fancy as a sit down, but not screaming at your friends with customers around. Maybe some better training and I would of given 5 stars, the food is very good. I hope they put the hours up soon too.

Attempted to get food at 10:20pm after work, Was told they were closed. Website, google, and signs say open till 11pm that day...i hope whoever approved the zoning here gets elected out for allowing a horrible food corporation thats going to harm the health of our locals and hurt financially our own canyon lake businesses... Oh, and if you have worked fast food before like me, you know the food is unsafe to eat, specially for a newly opened spot with half effort "training".

Been there about 4 times and everytime something is wrong with my order. Always takes forever to get our food. Went there for half price shakes and they only gave half price on 2 of the 4 we ordered. This time I ordered a chicken strip dinner and there were only 4 tiny strips and no onion ring. Everyone there needs to be trained better. Guy on switchboard needs a hearing aid too.. I will still go but next time Ill probably have to talk to a manager

Standard Sonic. Decent food, fast service, and in this case an awesome location at the lake. You can grab a burger and then go grab a seat and watch the sunset on over the water. Plenty of parking. Location seems to always be busy so there is little chance of old food. A bit high on cost, but if you go on Tuesday evening, the burger is half price. Go after 8pm and you can get a malt half price too.

Its August in Texas so I was looking forward to a cookie dough blast. I literally got ice cream. Maybe 5 pieces of cookie dough. With no whipped cream... nothing. With a soda lid on top. Dirty cup with melted ice cream running down the side by a girl covered in ice cream. If I could give this review 0 stars I would. I spent nearly $4 for a mini cup of just vanilla ice cream. Not happy.

Went there around 9pm to get a good burger and was very disappointed. Ive never had a problem with sonic. But my first time going to the new one in town my order was wrong had tomatos and i asked no tomatos (it even had the sticker). And my boyfriends burger as well as mune was not fresh at all!!! It was dry and you could just tell. (Especially when you work in fast food as well. )

Usually slow service and 50%of the time my order has been incorrect. I have stopped patronizing this local restaurant because it is not a good place to order a quick meal. Takes a bit to get ones order and then it is likely wrong...

Waited forever to get our food. When we did get it the kid didnt even give us any spoons for our shakes or even the right size straws for any of our drinks and he was a little rude. This is one of the worst Sonics Ive been to.

I have been there twice this week, both times order was wrong, drinks were wrong. Cashier at drive thru window did not give me change without me having to ask for it. They obviously need more training.

My first time at a Sonic and I have to be in Texas to do it. I gave it a four-star because the food was excellent but there was no place to sit inside with nice comfy air conditioning on a 100-degree day.
