Review is based on the Brisket I had for lunch. Service was fine but the brisket was not good at all. If traveling through Texas, dont let this form your opinion of Texas BBQ! It is so much better at many different one-off places and a few chains are good too. On a positive, my 6 YO son did love the chicken. I didnt try it. He also got some of the mud pie they had and he took two bites and got some sort of wrapper in a bite that turned him off from it obviously. We wont go back.

Not a place Id stop at again. The guy that chopped my beef put gloves on, used the same gloves to touch the door to go in the back to get more bread, didnt change them when he got back. No telling what he touched while he was in the back. Chopped my beef with the plastic on, which I later found in my sandwich. Flavor of the meat is very bland, no smokey flavor at all. Not sure about the sauce, they didnt put enough on it to tell. Over all not that great.

After driving over 3,000 miles through desert and snow bound roads on our way back home to Texas from the West cost, what a wonderful oasis this was. Immaculately clean restrooms with sleek granite troughs instead of sinks—fancier that the fanciest country club. The atmosphere was wonderful—aroma of delicious country food, Texas country decor and soft country music. We stayed for lunch and were simply delighted. Well visit again and again.

This place is more than just a BBQ joint its a nice roadside stop that is part convenience store with a great selection of wine, beer, candy, chips, toiletries, drinks and more. There are stylish and clean restrooms. Its also part Shell Gas Station, part Sonic, part shoping extravaganza with clothes, souvenirs and more.

Great jerky selection, however its awful. Didnt try the bbq because of it. There should not be moisture in a bag of jerky. Jerky is DRIED meat. If it is dry, why is the bag full of moisture? Jack links is better than this stuff. Dont recommend this stuff to people who like real jerky.

We went in this pass Sunday and the guy working just looked at us and never said a word. I had a tray in my hand but he was to busy flirting with the girl workin. We never got a word out of the boy so we left

Worst BBQ I think I have ever had. Went on a Friday evening and all the meats were leftovers. I had brisket and pork ribs, none if it was fresh and tasted as if were baked in the oven.
