While there food was good, there service and follow up was terrible. We waited on a Tues night at 6:30 for over 30 minutes to get a normal "to go" order. While we were there we saw two other "to go" orders come back with complaints. When we got our meal, we checked it but didnt open the rice contaniners. When we got home, we had ordered three small fried rice and we recieved 1 fried rice and two white rice. Since I had waited so long, I drove back (a round trip of 8 miles) with my receipt of $28.00 to get my two fried rice. At first the employee tried to say it was my fault because I didnt specify fired rice - my response was how come I got one of the three. She then apologized and as she was giving me my rice -she asked if I wanted her to throw in an extra. I told her for all the trouble I had been through, I think I deserved a free lunch. She then asked if I wanted a soup - I told her that I had two soups at home getting cold. She then handed me a business card with "10%" off. I couldnt believe her insensitivity. I asked her to sign it and she finally did. 8 miles, over 30 minutes, wrong order, blaminig it on me and "10%" was all she offered? We were looking for a new chinese resturant - guess we will still continue to look. Good food, but check your orders!!!!!!!

Just OK – We placed a To Go order for delivery. I did tell the person that this was our 1st visit & we always order from the Chinese Rest. 2 blocks away. It was my way of saying “This is your opportunity to get me as a customer and keep me coming back”. I ordered Broc. Chicken w/ Fried rice & my husband ordered Beef Fried Rice and 2 Egg Rolls. $21 w/ est. for delivery of 20 min. Food did arrive in about 20 min. Delivery person was not very friendly at all and shoved the food at my husband. We paid cash and my husband handed her a $5 tip. She didn’t look at him or thank him or change her attitude just turned and left. Food was hot but portions not as large as competition down the block. My husband always gets Beef Fried Rice & he said he didn’t want to order from Kung Pow again. My ‘Fried Rice’ was NOT it was steamed rice with just Soy Sauce in it. No veggie of any kind and my chicken was over cooked & dry. Egg Rolls were very small. They did give us sweet & sour sauce in a little cup as well as pepper oil which was nice. We won’t be ordering from Kung Pow Asian Diner again. You only get 1 time to make a 1st impression – make it count!

ONE star because the chicken was ok but not fresh. But the service was NOT! There was noone but 2 employees in the entire restaurant. I walked in to pick up a to go order...was greeted by NEITHER! Both had their noses glued to their phones!! Then after i initiated a ahmm...HELLO! I picked up my order. Shame on me for not double checking it. When i returned to my office to continue working, I realized my order was wrong. I was given white rice instead of fried and there were no utensils with which to eat or napkins. When I called the restaurant to inform them of the mistake in hopes of a friendly, wed be glad to replace if youd like...He merely said ooooh...?? Im sorry. And regarding the lack of eating utensils??? ***BRACE YOURSELF>..... "Well maam, you didnt ask me for utensils!" WHAATTT!!?? Really? Obviously, there is a reason this place was empty!!! LESSON LEARNED!!!

My wife and I just moved to the neighborhood across the street and have been looking for local delivery and we were excited to try this place. We saw how pricy it was but werent worried about it. We ordered sesame chicken and chicken/ shrimp fried rice. Its was there QUICK, very impressive to see delivery in 15 minutes. The portions were HUGE and looked great, BUT we were wrong. The food was extremely bland and had no taste. It was extremely fresh and warm but we were so disappointed. $33 wasted. I didnt like also how I had to select every little thing wanted, I can understand why its that way but still. I wouldnt tell people "oh its horrible stay away, blah blah blah". But definitely check out neighboring restaurants. My wife looked at me after a few bites and said "this isnt our Chinese restaurant". We will definitely be checking elsewhere

First of all, the fact that they have multi-asian cuisine made me happy. I tried to remember the last time Ive seen restaurants with a variety of asian dishes and I honeslty cant (minus a couple of corporate/franchise ones). The food was good. Ok, delish to be more specific! I ordered the Pad Thai (which automatically comes with tofu which is great for me being a pescetarian and all), and to be honest I was expecting it to be QUITE a bit less yummy than "real" Thai food, but to my surprise it was a treat. It was also a very reasonable price (under $7). The atmosphere on the inside is very attractive with a subtle, cozy yet stylish ambiance. My girlfriend and I are definitely going back and were lucky to have it as a neighborhood restaurant!

CLOSEST THING TO MY FAVORITE CHINESE RESTAURANT IN MICHIGAN WHICH I LITERALLY COULD & WOULD EAT EVERY DAY. ONLY HAD DELIVERY, PLACING THE ORDER WAS ALWAYS A JOY AS I ONLY SPEAK ENGLISH AND HAD NO ISSUES UNDERSTANDING OR BEING UNDERSTOOD. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE SPICY MANDARIN BEEF WITH EXTRA SAUCE & STEAMED RICE ITS HEAVENLY. WISH I HAD DISCOVERED THIS GEM SOONER THAN A COUPLE MONTHS AGO AS I REGRETTABLY NO LONGER LIVE IN REACH... IF AT ANY TIME I AM IN THE AREA I WILL BE POPPING IN OR ORDERING DELIVERY AGAIN.

Mediocre - food, service, atmosphere, location - pretty much mediocre everything except higher than mediocre pricing. (even for the lunch menu) Thats probably because of the rent. Likely never go back. Get better "chinese" food at buffets for the same or less. Im guessing most of the 5 star folks dont get around much. Gave three stars because "it was okay" but they deserve a 2.5 - "its just so so" and I wouldnt recommend to anyone I know.

I came here for the first time since me and my family wanted to try something else. Once we came in, customer service was TERRIBLE! The young African-American who works there had a terrible attitude towards us, he threw our napkins, plates, and dishes at our table. The main courses were good, but the Egg Rolls Shushi were bland. Please acknowledge our problem and fix it ASAP, otherwise, the service is not worth the price.
