The cake was a big hit at the wedding. It looked beautiful and tasted great. After booking we had some communication issues with Sweet Art and were kind of on the fence about using them, but they came through in the end and we are happy we went with them. We had a McKinney wedding and wanted to use local vendors. I was living overseas at the time so I was only in McKinney for one day. Im not sure if they do cake tastings or not, but they definitely were not able to do one while I was in town so I was told to buy cupcakes if Id like to try their flavors. We ended up booking them. Its a small business and seems like there are only 1 or 2 people there that know about their wedding side. I initially paid the deposit and discussed cake options in person over a year out from the wedding. Then went into the store a month or so before the wedding to make the final payment and finalize the cake choices. A few weeks before the wedding we emailed asking for cake stand options and to see if we could get photos. They replied back a very nondescript response with no photos and also said that I needed to finalize my cake choices, which as I mentioned, I had done that in person previously. Calling didnt seem to work well so we make a long drive to go in person to actually get the full information. The staff didnt know anything about the stands so we had to wait a bit for the owner to arrive. The stand options werent really anything we wanted so we ended up supplying our own. It seemed like it was always a big issue to communicate with them about wedding things specifically. In the end the cake was beautiful and delicious. They worked really well with our florist (The Stalk Market, McKinney). It was touch and go, but we are happy that we went with them and would hire them again if given the chance.

I did not have the pleasure of tasting the treats this bakery has to offer. I called the other day just to verify I had the correct address so I could come in and get a cake estimate. The lady who answered the phone did not sound welcoming or enthused to be speaking to me. When I got to the location I was coldly greeted by the same lady. I got the impression that she was the aurhority figure for the establishment. I cant explain her demeanor but I can explain how it made me feel. I felt very unwelcomed. It felt more like pay me if you insist but I would rather you just go somewhere else. She NEVER smiled once. It was a horrible feeling. I will NEVER spend a dime in this place! There are so many other bakeries who are happy to assist any and all customers and potential customers. There is no reason for anyone to be treated this way.

I ordered 6 sets of custom cookies in a hurry and they were the only accommodating people I could find. I wanted different logos for each one of the different sets and they had them ready for me from one day to the next. PLUS, they also put them in really cute individual baggies with ribbon to match the colors of my logos (I didnt request such detail but they were SO very special and did that for me). They also put all these baggies for me in a big box and even gave me separate individual bags to carry each of the sets. All in all, I think they tried more than 100% and it really showed, I was extremely pleased with: 1. Service 2. Speediness 3. Quality I would definitely order from them again, in fact, Im quite sure Ill be ordering lots more from them this Fall!

We ordered a cake for our twins birthday. We were given one free smash cake and had to pay for the other one...kinda annoying but nothing Im not used to in dealing with twins. The cakes were amazing and tasted excellent. Everyone at the party was very impressed. The owner is clearly very talented but wasnt the friendliest when we went in to look around. She seemed busy and sent another employee to talk to us that wasnt as informed. The employee had to keep going back to the owner to get our questions answered. Again kinda annoying as we felt we were "pawned off." Regardless, we would give them a try again because the cake was so amazing.

DO NOT GO HERE FOR A SMASH CAKE Went to Sweet Art Bakery recently for my daughters one year birthday cake. Their prices were competitive to the market but they offered a free smash cake. The free smash cake had a "7" on it instead of a "1". When I complained about this to the owner she didnt offer to fix it or seem to care in the slightest. I think because it was free they didnt feel it needed to be correct. Also the icing was too hard for baby to smash and I found out later the fondant they use is a choke hazard. Ended up going to another company and buying a second smash cake. I would not recommend this company.

Went in to order a cake for my husbands 40th birthday & only had a general idea. They were awesome & came up with a really cool Marvel Avengers cake. We were excited to see the final product & when the day came to pick it up we were stoked...it exceeded our expectations!!!! Designed with such detail & care!!! Plus it actually tasted amazing! We went with strawberry & cream cheese filling on one layer & chocolate & peanut butter mousse. Everyone at his party was highly impressed & loved how the cake tasted. Will be recommending Sweet Art Bakery to everyone!!!!! Thanks for helping make my husbands 40th a success!!!!

Love this bakery! The cupcakes and brides cake at my daughters wedding were wonderful (my favorite was the white almond). Im still getting compliments on those cupcakes, even more than a month past the wedding! The brides cake was gluten-free and tasted great. Sweet Art has also done custom cookies for a business event that we had...super delicious and FABULOUS service! I highly recommend Sweet Art Bakery for any of your bakery needs!

So pleased !!You ladies went above and beyond !!! So pleased with my experience. I had a friend pick up my daughters bridal shower cake. I ordered by phone and via email with pictures. Best cupcakes in Texas hands down, the cupcakes werent just cute there super soft too! I even put them in the freezer over night and took them out and they were still soft. If your looking for a high quality cupcake this is the place to go. 5 stars for sure.
