Dont know how they got the type of reviews they did up until this one! The 4 of us all had pastrami sandwiches at Cindis downtown Dallas this afternoon. The meat was so tough it was unchewable for two of us and we left most of the sandwich on the plate. The other two managed to get it down a bit more, somehow. As far as I could tell, it was made from very tough, dense,POORLY SEASONED sliced beef, and not from a slow cooked, "deli seasoned" brisket cut. The only thing they got right was the mustard and the service. After leaving this poor excuse for a New York deli, my wife and I went to another restaurant to get a decent meal. Ive eaten at Jewish delis in New York, Chicago, L.A. and Detroit for the last 60 years, and never, ever had such a horrible experience even BEGINNING to approach this one. Cindis will not be on my recommended list and hope I can get this experience out of my memory bank altogether.

Quiet, homely place In the early mornings that is. Stopped in town headed for LA on the greyhound and was looking for some place decent open for breakfast before the bus came. Google maps showed me this just 4 blocks away and they open at 6:30 so I went and the service was good. Right off the bat when you walk in you can see that they are what they advertise to be: a deli. Meats, cheeses, and pastries on display behind the glass. The decor was just the same how you would expect it to, wall booths, low-lamped small tables, and framed pictures of NYCs landscape. I was in a rush so I had one of their six dollar specials and coffee. The value was pretty good; for under ten bucks I got a nice big breakfast of eggs, sausage, hash browns, and biscuits & gravy with bottomless coffee to wash it all down. I would love to come back again some day and try out their reuben sandwich

When I visited this deli, I was looking for a real authentic NY style Deli, and unfortunately, this place didnt hit the mark for me. I wanted something specific and flavorful that you cant get anywhere else, and this deli was not that. Theres definitely potential there, but its like theyve cut corners in the recipes and weve getting a watered down less flavorful version of the foods that are offered. The salads were especially bland, and I wished there were some more menu options for vegetarians. If they took the time to spice up the menu, give us some more variety, and add more ingredients to the recipes, it would be a hit!

Quaint and cozy little New York style diner near Reunion Plaza. Huge menu selection from breakfast to dinner offering New York style deli fares. Ive had breakfast and the pecan waffles, omelet, and blueberry pancakes are my favorite for breakfast. Ive had corned beef and pastrami and for classic sandwich it is great. Large portions and great selection for the one who cant make up their mind. Parking can be difficult on a busy weekday since theres limited space. It can get busy on the weekends as well. But its always great food and worth the wait.

Disappointed. Excited to try the Banana Nut Waffles so I ordered the waffle platter and told our waitress I wanted the Banana Nut Waffle and my egg over medium. She brings the waffle out and its topped with 3 generous scoops of whipped cream and a half a cup of pecans. After looking at the receipt she rang it in as a regular waffle with a side of pecans. The waffle tasted okay minus scaping all the nuts off and the whip cream. Really wanted a bananas flavor.

Within close walking distance to the Hyatt Regency Dallas. Extensive menu of typical NY deli favourites. The bagels were fresh and tasty. We did a full take out breakfast and brought it back to the hotel. Eggs, bacon, sausages, pancakes, potato pancakes, matzo ball soup - all delicious! Service was friendly and quick. They provided lots of condiments and extras. Very pleased to have found this gem.

Had lunch here earlier this week. Food was good not great. Waitresses we not that great, she kept forgetting things and was pretty clumsy. The menu does state they have IBC Root Beer which is a favorite of mine but when I ordered it I was brought off brand root beet in a can. as for the food, like I said it was not bad just expected a little more out of it.

Amazing food. I had the chicken avocado salad, and my fiancé had the bacon turkey burger. We both loved them. We then shared strawberry cheesecake for dessert. It was amazing. Fast and awesome service. It is a cozy environment.

Cozy local deli restaurant conveniently located downtown! Prices and service were very appropriate for setting. If you are used to NY delis it is Sunkist, but lacks the authentic charm. I had the chorizo breakfast delicious!

I work in downtown Dallas and have lunch at Cindis about once a week. It has so many options that my friends and I dont get bored with it, although to be honest I usually stick with the harvest nut n grain pancakes - YUM.

Low cost, solid breakfast and lunch spot. One of several in the Dallas area. Great selection of sandwiches. Convenient to Union Station, Dealy Plaza, etc., Without being a tourist place.

Do yourself a favor and get the corn beef & pastrami on a Kaiser roll w/ Russian dressing & slaw. Add a cup of broccoli and cheese soup and some ice tea for good measure. Thank me later.

Great food and service. I love having Cindis downtown. Parking is tough with the construction next door but its worth finding a space. A weekly stop for me.

Really nice food choices for a small town southern deli. Breakfast all day, some traditional Texan food, and good, hearty Jewish Deli Food

Really liked the pancakes, and the bacon had a very unique flavor. Simple, but good. The danishes and strudels are fantastic though!
