So Zach was our server and he was incredibly absent for the whole experience. Not sure if he assumed that, because my boyfriend and I are relatively young and ordered minimal beverages, that we were going to be bad tippers or what, but unfortunately enough we just werent in the mood for drinks and trying to grab a quick pizza. So he takes his time getting to us for our drink order, then takes plenty more time bringing them back, at which time we were ready to order our food. He sets the drinks down and says, "Ill be back in a minute for your order." Ok. So he clears some tables, runs a ticket, gets someone a box, asks another table how their food is, disappears and finally comes round for the order. We get our food, he promptly leaves again and never once stops to check on how it is. Brings us a check without asking if we cared for dessert (we didnt but its good to know he was able to predetermine that), runs our card and drops the ticket back off with a "have a good one." Let me throw out that the place was by no means packed or even considerably busy, and Zachs other tables seemed to be getting quite nice service. We just felt completely unwelcome and its kind of sad, because we are not high maintenance customers OR bad tippers by any means, as we both have restaurant experience. Its a shame because I think well have to find somewhere that enjoys our money next time we want some dine-in pizza.

Family oriented but yet could not make an exception for a family with a 3 month old baby boy who has colic and is hard to sit down for even a while and wait for food before he becomes too fussy. Who wants to be around a fussy baby all in the name of getting a good deal on great food? This is in relation to their latest BOGO, the manager refused to make an exception for us to take our order to go. Furthermore for a family on 1 income our budget is tight and not eating out is one way to save money but even then sometimes we do like to treat ourselves and have very few restaurants we eat at and we now have 1 less place to go. We will never eat there again based on principle. Great atmosphere and great workers that love their job but disappointed enough that we will back away and spend our hard earned money elsewhere. Its not as if even 1 family who vows to never return will make a difference but again this is based on principle. Thank you for your time, I hope this review is found useful for somebody.

Didnt take long to be seated, even during the Broncos game. Our initial waitress was pushy at first about drink selection and then disappeared for quite some time after we said we needed a moment. We finally were able to place our order, beer burger and a Monster BLT. She ended her shift before our order came out. She never came back to the table to let us know. We just saw her leaving, chit chatting with the waitress who became our waitress before she left. The new waitress was amazing. She was seeing a few other tables I addition to ours, but her attitude and attention was on point. I wish I would have gotten her name but she was wearing a green Bay jersey. I remember because it is my team and the only person I saw repping them amidst a sea of orange and blue lol The food was freaking amazong! The beer burger was juicy and so flavorful! The Monster BLT was to die for!!! Overall, I really loved it here!

Great food and even better service! We normally eat in the bar area as it has a more relaxed atmosphere and the wait staff in there is fantastic. Our normal waitress, Heather, is fast, kind and always is thinking one step ahead of us from refills, to sauces, to having our bill ready if we are in a hurry. If Heather isnt there, the rest of the crew is fantastic as well. This particular Old Chicago is always updating their menu and we love trying out their new appetizers and entrees. However, we always seem crave their buffalo wings, which in our mind, beat out any wing joint in Colorado Springs. If youre a beer drinker, Old Cs is a great place to try some new beer and they always are rotating through new beers on their rotator menu and their mini tours. Oh, and weve been to many many Old Chicagos, this one is the best by far.

The service has consistently gone down. This last dining experience was by far the worst so I am compelled to write a review. The restaurant was dirtier than normal. We spotted three flies, two on our hair and one flying around the restaurant. The pizza came out undercooked with the dough still soggy. Our waitress was very slow. Took about 20 mins to take our order and we went when it was slow. We were brought blue cheese dressing on one of our orders instead of ranch. And she was very rude overall through serving us. When trying to give the waitress a good tip despite the bad service, she made it very difficult and became ruder. We wont be dining here for a while.

If anyone is wondering why the staff at Old Chicagos on Austin Bluffs is never the same when you go in... It is because their manager Richie Hart treats his staff horribly. He is mean, vindictive, abusive and cruel. He does not care about the people who work for him and he tells them that they are easily replaced. What is really sad is that his upper management apparently dont care about their employees either because they continue to let Rich Hart abuse his staff with his position there as manager. It looks to me like there could be a class action law suit in their future I think a boycott is in order until this is taken care of.

VERY disappointed today. Went in with the wife and father-in-law and all of our food was over cooked (boarding on burnt). My father-in-law had his stool come apart under him (not snap, but actually come apart) causing him to fall 3+ feet to the floor. Waitress hardly seemed concerned and management had an attitude of "Im only checking on you because I have to". Nothing was done about it. They took the stool, briefly apologized and that was that. No offered discount or anything. TERRIBLE customer relations from someone who has managed in both retail and food service. Will NEVER go here again and recommend no body else does either.

I have been a regular customer at Old Chicagos for quite a while now. My friend and I usually end up going to the pool table and ordering drinksappetizersfood. The food is pretty decent, but the service is a different story. Usually the waitresses are mean spiritedunfriendly and lack service. On one occasion I went in with my friend just to play pool and the waitress checked our IDs even though we didnt order any drinks. I thought that was pretty rude. If you can bare the crappy service it is not a bad place to go for just the food. On the plus side they do carry Sunshine Wheat which is one of my favorite beers :)

Entry time 6:15 pm. Current time 7:08 pm. Its my birthday and I show up to have a beer with a friend on my birthday. One beer for each of us and an order of fries later we still have not received the fries. Beer was received at 6:50 pm. Fries are still no where to be seen waiter walks by at least every 2 minutes. Not checked on yet at this point. Time is now 7:14 pm. The fries have arrived, with nothing more to say other than "sorry for the delay guys." The simple truth is this great beer selection at 5 the cost of service you would expect from the 6th grade football team.
