They sat us, we didnt see a server for ten minutes so we moved to the bar. The bartender was very friendly and greeted us right away, and took our drink order. Gave her our order specifics three times but the order was still entered incorrectly so they had to remake our food. It took about an hour to get our food. :( Food tasted good but the pizza was super shy on toppings (veggies.) Side sauce crazy spicy and not what they use on the pizza. Our bartender was great though and comped the pizza without us asking her to which was very appreciated. Great flexible hours and decently tasty food but not the best experience overall.

We came in the front door and waited five minutes before we were seated. Another 5 minutes and we got water. We made our order and waited 20 minutes for our two personal pan pizzas. My personal pan was a joke in terms of toppings and they left black olives on it which I asked to have removed. I complained about it to the staff and received nothing as compensation other than a nervous laugh and a mumbled "sorry". Refills on water would have been nice, but they never came. We finally just left cash and left since wed already asked for our check, but instead saw staff run back and forth and ignore us. We will never go here again.

I entered the establishment at 2:45 PM. Was not greeted and two staff were standing by the bar talking to a customer. Both staff looked at me but kept talking. This lasted approx 45 seconds. I then used the restroom. When I came out I stood at the front desk for another 15-20 seconds and no staff approached so I told them I would eat somewhere else. There where several staff and I saw 2-3 customers at one table. I drove a mile south to Skeeter Barnes where I spent $25 on food and drink and gave $9.00 for a tip. I was greeted and seated immediately. I will not return to the Kearney Old Chicago.

Experience was awesome, my wife and I ordered a Hawaiian style pizza & they sent out some random thin crust pizza I didnt even know what style it was! Our waitress was very nice and professional about the situation, we ended up ordering a pasta. 15-20 minutes later our pasta comes out and she tells us the manger is gonna cover our meal for the evening for waiting so long considering the mistake!! This old Chicago was definitely deserves our business! We left the waitress a tip for the cost of our meal! Definitely reccomended!

The calzone was really yummy! Service was awful! When we walked in on a busy sunday there were at least 6 employees standing in a group by the hostess stand. We were seated quickly then everything slowed down! Took 2 hrs! Then we ordered chacolate cookie alamode was told they ran out of icecream! After we had to ask where it was. It was part of the meal special. If we had known there was no icecream we wouldnt have ordered that item! All we got ws a " sorry" from the server as he quickly left!

Our waitress was horrible. Took 30 minutes to get our drinks. Couldnt get our order correct, or bring us boxes, or even ask how things were once we finally did get our food. Ordered the artichoke dip which is just cheese, which was gross. Ordered the bone-in wings and instead got the boneless which were just hunks of gristle. The buffalo ones werent even spicy. Dont order the chili verde burger the SW chix sauce saturated the bottom bun and hamburger was dry. Wont go here again.

Thier tavern crust pizzas are consistently good, and Ive never had bad service at this location. My classic pizza was properly cooked and flavorful. I cannot speak toward thier beers, as I am not a beer guy, but I have had some perfectly good cocktails here in the past. They seem to have something for everyone, including gluten free options and vegetarian (but not vegan) choices. A regular choice in our eating out options.

The food is pretty good for a chain and the beer selection is ok, though a bit underwhelming if youre a true craft beer person. The local brewpub was closed for the holiday at the time, so we went here to try some of that brewerys beers, so their local selection is at least a bit interesting. My wife enjoyed it and she normally hates chains, though she left her ID at home and couldnt drink though shes over the age of 30, let alone 21.

Not sure what the circumstances were, but the service at this location left something to be desired. From being seated and then waiting for at least 20-30 minutes for someone to take our drink order, to members of our party having to get up and go to the bar to even get water, and then one of the orders seemingly not being cooked until after the rest of the orders were brought out, all around not a great experience.

The service was horrible. The restaurant was not at all busy and we had a simple order. We were there for over an hour to eat a noon meal, 12:05pm-1:10pm. Drinks (water) were not refilled and we noticed she visited with a table which were obviously friends. I had a half order of the Italian salad and my husband had Stromboli. The food was good, but not worth a 40 minute wait.

First thing that youll notice is the funny smell. The menu is limited compared to other OC locations. No crayons with the kids menu--they were out. Food was mediocre at best. My California Chicken sandwich lacked flavor of any kind. Service was okay but waitress forgot sugar for tea, ketchup, and there was no Parmesan cheese on the table. I would recommend skipping this place!

Met friends there to eat and visit. Sat in the bar area. No air conditioning. It was 93 and very humid out and about the same temperature inside. No apology....just agreement that it was hot. Pizza was so-so. Crust was soggy.....like us! Tried the macaroni bites....nothing special just triangle shaped cheese sticks with a dab of macaroni. Beer wasnt the coldest.

They couldnt tell the difference between their Chicago #7 and the veggie #7, took 3 tries to get it done. I spent an hour waiting. Manager finally assisted and got it fixed and discounted me heavily for the wait and the issue. Pizza was amazing when I got to eat it. Would go back even though I ran into that issue. Manager was super nice and very accommodating.

Great service and they had pineapple cider (I very rarely find this in a restaurant); contrary to other reviews, our order was correct and came out in a timely fashion. Three stars because I am from Chicago this is not even close to Chicago style pizza. That being said, this pizza was decent, just not what I was expecting.

My dad and I were staying in Kearney for a competition, and decided to eat at Old Chicago. We walked in and it began to smell really weird. We moved to another spot after being seated and it still smelled bad. We told the waitress and she openly admited she didnt smell anything. Really? No points for you.
