I had a poor experience tonight. There was a gal that was mopping the floor, The caution signs were up. My daughter was in the process of going to get a refill of her pop and fell on the wet floor. The gal that was mopping was told that my daughter fell and she responded by saying, that it shouldnt be that wet and then continued to mop the floor. A couple customers went and told the gentleman behind the counter, that my daughter fell and he never left his post. It wasnt until a few minutes later that the manager finally came out way after the fact. He told us that he was in the back and was not Aware of the situation. I then responded and pointed to the gal that was mopping that she knew about it and she responded by saying that she was going to finish mopping and then go tell him. My daughter is lucky that her butt is the only thing sore. After leaving runza she said that she did hit her head a little but it was not sore. I dont know what would have happened if she would have really hit her head hard. I think that there needs to some education on what to do if there is an incident. As far as I know there was no incident report nor were there any names taken. Very disappointed.

I had remembrances of Runzas being around and generally being thought of fondly during my time in Michigan, so I thought Id give it a try. Boy was that a mistake. The eponymous Runza "sandwich" is a variation on a Welsh pasty, essentially bread stuffed with something and then baked. The Runza version is usually filled with "meat" (though you could also get other items with chicken, presumably not made of chicken meat, just beaks and feathers), onion, cabbage, and American cheese. These gut bombs are certainly filling and served piping hot, just the thing for working in a coal mine or clearing the North 40, but not ideal for todays sit-behind-a-desk worker. I was still feeling it several hours later and skipped dinner completely. Taste on the other hand is not such a factor, as they are bland and relatively boring. To be fair, the fries were actually pretty tasty, and I didnt try any of the other Runzas or their "famous" burgers.

Their Runzas are awesome and if youve never had one, next time youre in Runza territory, you really should try one. The cheeseburgers and onion rings are excellent too!

A great Nebraska favorite - Runza. This restaurant is always clean and has quick service. I like going here for their oven stuffed Runza sandwiches.
