DONT GO HERE AND ASK FOR A MILITARY DISCOUNT OR YOU WILL BE INSULTED!!! Our 1st and last visit to this restaurant...... My family and I had dinner here last night. The server was EXCELLENT! However, we had a few issues with our entrees. My side was the "adult mac&cheese" which literally had no cheese at all. The noodles appeared to have a buttery or greasy look and only one noodle had cheese on it. I brought it to the waitress attention and she agreed it was no Mac&cheese! No worries, we continue with our meal which went ok. The main issue we had with 54th Street was the insulting "military discount" of $1.80 they gave us off our $110 check. The manager Mike stated their policy was to only give a 10% military discount of the entrée of the veteran (not including any alcohol, which no one had alcohol). My father is a Navy Vietnam Veteran who ate a descent portion of the 2 appetizers we ordered as well as his entrée and had tea to drink. The discount of $1.80 did not even cover the cost of his Mango Tea ($2.75). Mike, the manager, was very apologetic and offered coupons for discount on future visits. I would have rather them not offer a military discount at all, instead of insulting my veteran father with a mere $1.80 off his meal. My father proudly wears his Navy Vietnam Veteran hat every day wherever he goes. Strangers shake his hand and say thank you for your service. Our family gets together every week for dinner so we can all enjoy time with our father as his 2 daughters and only grandchild have busy lives. McDonalds offers more of value on a military discount than this restaurant. We will not be going back to 54th Street Grill! Sincerely, Disappointed Veterans Daughter

Lots going on in this theme restaurant. There is not a single square foot of wall or ceiling space not decorated with some piece of Americana. The menu is quite extensive as well, with traditional fare as well as some new surprises. In my five visits I have not been disappointed. The wait staff is friendly and the prices are competitive at about $15.00 per person without alcohol. Speaking of alcohol, there is a nice Beer menu that shows what a beer lover needs, data. Cannot comment on desserts because I havent made it that far, yet. In the afternoon, I see many families, grandparents and young parents and young couples. This place appeals to everyone it seems.

Well for starters my server Liliana was the worst server I ever had. She obviously dont know how to work under pressure and still be polite and professional. She was so stress she could get my order correct. If it wasnt for the Manager Josh being so polite and professional about my order not being correct I would not return. He made sure my husband and I didnt leave unhappy. The servers need to understand regardless how busy you are still treat each customer as if the they are the only ones in the room.

Service was friendly, atmosphere was nice, appearance and cleanliness were great, but the food was very OK. The costs are mostly reasonable but it tastes like somebody that kind of knows how to cook went to Walmart to feed their family and was lazy while they cooked. The appearance and atmosphere do not match the food at all. You will spend to same amount of money and get much better food by just going to Applebees or Chilis.

This place is awesome. I recently have gone to vegetarianism and these guys complimented that choice quite well with their veggie burger! This place helps me not miss meat at all. They also brought out tilapia instead of salmon like we ordered.... they graciously fixed our order, and reduced our bill without us even asking. It was a completely delightful experience. Clean. Good service. What else is there to ask for?

Food was on point!! This menu is great, service was friendly and FAST! The food quality was outrageously good. My compliments to the kitchen staff this late at night when I visited, and the hostess and server were all super friendly and attentive and I cant tell you how good the food was to me! I will definitely be back and be recommending this to friends and family...

First time coming here and will definitely will be back! I ordered the Memphis burger with pulled pork it was delicious, My husband fell in love with the Long Island Tea drink. Noel was a such a nice waiter and did not even let me get half way done with my water without refilling again to the top. The interior was pretty interesting as well very elegant.

My loaded baked potatoe was missing bacon and sour cream. My friend nachos was cold, lettuce was old, chips was partially burnt and the requested queso was not added on the side. Will not be back. I was overcharged for the bread that was included not on the lunch menu but the regular menu. I was given a 8.99 coupon to use next time. NOT. I left it.

Had a great 1st time experience here!.. Made reservations online; only had a 30 minute wait... And this was on "Fathers Day".. The food & alcoholic beverages were great. The atmosphere is very vintage with a nostalgic feel.. And the wait staff was very helpful & nice as well.. I could definitely see myself as a regular here.. Two thumbs up!!..

Great low key fun atmosphere. Huge food selection. We tried it for the first time and were immediately back the next night. Friendly service and reasonable prices. Its our new standby place. Finally a place to take the wife when she says "I dont know what do you want...? for the tenth time...just start with 54th and youre done.

Went here on a Thursday evening. Place was pretty busy since it had just opened. Food was great (the Ruben and sweet potato fries and spicy chicken sandwich) Drinks were strong, staff was friendly and the atmosphere was family friendly. Definitely going back! The only downside in my opinion, is I wish they had a bigger patio
