Been coming here for a verrrry long time...There have been many changes over the years but its current incarnation is the best. First of all the staff is great. Attentive especially if they know you. I can count on my drink being in front of me before I sit down. Food- they have a good bar food menu that is reliable. The buffet is now gone but you can still order traditional Asian food plus sushi from the menu. Both always receive high marks. A bit of a secret is the pizza which may not appear on the menu. Two crusts to choose from hand tossed and thin (my favorite). Honestly this is very good pizza and if I had to reccomend one item this would be it. Facility- this is a pretty large building which is now divided into non-smoking and smoking sides. Both feature large bars and the requisite tvs. The smoking side is the more lively featuring many full size pool tables, darts, shuffleboard and the like. NTN Trivia and poker is always on and you will find plenty of competition (Look up me-GEARS). Our Glass is one of the few remaining smoking bars left in DFW so if thats your thing, light up. Crowd- Happy Hour is a mix of regulars and interlopers. Karoke, especially on Friday brings a large crowd which skews young and if you like endless line dances have at it. In summation, Our Glass is a little divey but if you like drinking real drinks and a little less douche factor than Champps or Cool River this the spot. Cheers!

I walked into this bar that has been there since I was 19 and it used to be called The Grand. Kevin Woung is the owner. The older Female Lady there is the owner is what I just found out. I was assaulted by a Hispanic Female after her older male husband said he was going to hit me after they called me a pool shark November 11th around 11:00 pm. I played a black male and won. They lookedgang affiliated but older members. I called the cops after being punched in the side of my head. The management which was the tall crooked toothed bartender said I couldnt be there any longer and let the other party stay. I just went up there today to see if they had cameras and I was asked to leave and the older Asian lady yelled call the cops and older Asian male tried pushing me out as well as the same bartender. The bartender wanted to fight outside of the establishment. Then they started saying I had a gun. Bottom line is Irving PD cant protect you in this establishment. Serious injuries could occure if you run into the bad crowd that is in there now as of the last 2 years. I used to go there when it was a place to drink but its gotten scary. The food is horrible. Management is so poor. As long with the owners. Stay away from this establishment

When we arrived, the atmosphere was nice. The drinks and service was awesome and the food was good. We were having a wonderful time, enjoyed the karaoke and all, until the bartender decided to charge us up for tips (while we were still there enjoying the night and in no way ready to leave.) She goes into this whole spill about only making $2.00 an hour, but little did she know was We were all leaving her a cash tip when we were ready to leave, not upon her demand. I personally never leave a tip on my card because Ive been burned before. When I tried to explain that to the young lady, she had zero understanding and decided to call out the owner as if we were the thug squad or something. Now mind you, in the midst of it all, my friend and I left a $10 tip each, and my other friend tipped her on her card, while her fiance left an additional cash tip. Its not a good look to beg for tips. Whats understood never needs to be explained, because we always tip. Sad case tho cause we were really having fun there and now we will never go back.

Place is a rip off, I had to go to McDonalds immediately after to get the taste out of my mouth. You pay gourmet pricing for buffet quality. At least a buffet is consistent with tasting like crap and I was okay with that. I knew every time that I was getting an all you can eat crap feast for a reasonable price. Now, youre tricked into purchasing whats on the damn menu which tasted worst than the buffet and whats worse is that the staff did not know what the hell was what on the menu. I ordered Sushi and got avocado rolls n the waitress in broken English proceeded to argue that the tuna n eel I ordered had avocado on it. Im allergic to Avocados, I couldve died. Even if she was correct (which she later apologized about and corrected my 4 pcs of Sushi an hour later) not once was it listed on the menu. God forbid if ur allergic peanuts. I will never go back to the Ourglass. The best part of lunch was eating Chinese buffet once a week and now Ive been robbed of it.

When you go to a buffet you expect a certain flavor of food but when Im going and sitting down and ordering from a menu you dont want it to taste as though youre eating directly from a buffet. Very unfortunate, this place used to be really decent well-priced and now I just dont know what to say real frustrating weve lost a good buffet in Las Colinas I dont know where to go now. The staff seemed as though they have no idea what theyre doing whats on the menu what its supposed to look like how do you even take an order the old ladies that work there have been there as long as the buffet has and they all seem like theyre disgruntled and really hate their job unfortunate again but I have to write this about a place that I did like for some time now again I just dont know where to go.

Once again, this buffet no longer is...at least not for dinner. They have gone to menu-only ordering for dinner. The food was pretty good/standard for a buffet, but would only be mediocre at best if it was ordered off a menu. I find it hard to believe the quality would improve that much by changing their format. Also, his place is ALWAYS under renovation. Maybe if they would stop wasting money on changing their layout and concept, and focus on what they used to do well (the buffet) they might actually make money. Once again, they have lost a long-time customer. And I doubt Ill go back again at this point - I know where to find other buffets, and better menu-only restaurants.

Went to the Grand for Karaoke Night and it was not fun at all. The place was smoky and the bartenders were absolutely rude. It took me 45 minutes to get a drink and the drink was gross. I asked for a Gentleman Jack and Coca Cola and she poured me a regular "Jack and Coke." I told her I wanted Gentleman Jack and she said that is what she poured me when I SAW HER POUR MY DRINK. After a little argument, she charged me for a regular Jack and Coke, but it was so strong, it tasted like crap. I will hesitate to go back b/c of my bad experience. I did not try their food, but I based my "Jack & Coke" as food. It was undrinkable, so I gave it a Poor-Fair Rating.
