Lemme start with a positive: super nice service – manager and waitress were lovely. When we told them that they (in fact, nobody) should purposefully serve cold fried eggplant, they couldnt have been nicer about it. Other than that, the ambiance is very alright. Passable. Unfortunately, thats about where it ends. The food overall is remarkably subpar. If youve ever wanted to lick a salt lick, dunk your head in dried rosemary, and inject garlic powder straight into your veins like the authentic italiano you really are, then go right ahead and hit up I Fratelli. If sponging grease off bell peppers with your napkin is your idea of a dinner out, then go right ahead. I, however, will not be returning. Not even for that bathroom, which startlingly resembled the DFWs, broken bits and missing toilet paper in all.

EXCELLENT!!! Were from NJ. Figured there would not be pizza anything close to NJ/NY pie in Texas. However, we went to i Fratelli Ristorante & Wine Bar for lunch. We ordered a pie with breaded eggplant and fresh garlic. OMG!!! It was right up there with the northern pizza pie that we are used to. Curst was thinner, but then again there is a "bar pie" up here with a very thin crust that is quite similar to that. The taste was excellent! We included a house salad with house dressing. It was so fresh, crisp, and cold and was a great accompaniment to the pizza! Definitely a place to go back to when we return to Irving. Looking forward to trying their menu items, as they all sound delicious. We highly recommend i Fratelli!!!

Ordered Veal Parmesan. Food was disgusting. Veal was cooked OK, but served 100% soggy and the sauce was awful and burnt while cheese was barely melted (guess it spent time under a heat lamp...) Pasta next to it was cold (inedible) with the same awful tomato paste sauce. Seriously the sauce is rank and would be much better by being just canned Ragu. Also had "toasted ravioli" which was NOT toasted ravioli. It was normal beef ravioli, just fried. Not breaded, and not toasted. Fried ravioli was hard and chewy, not crunchy. Gross! Service was good, place was neat and clean... Food was nasty.

First time here and so glad we stopped in!! I have really enjoyed i fratellis pizza for years but was excited to see they had a dine in restaurant too. Its more upscale than I expected, with a long wine list, and wonderful appetizers. We had a cheese plate that was served with fruit and olive tapenade, the house bread is served with garlic butter, we tried the toasted ravioli and both enjoyed it. I had the chicken picata for an entree and would absolutely order it again. We skipped dessert but cant wait to come back and have dinner again.

I am very new to the Irvine Tx area. I was at khols stire shopping and asked the guy checking us out abt a pizza place. He recommended I fratelli. So I walked in and to my surprise it appeared such a formal pizza restaurant that I almost left. But we had a 10 minute wait for seating and the waitress went over the menu with me snd I ordered a pizza my way....broccoli, eggplant and cheese. It was very delicious not to mention the good ceasar salad and buttered bread! goodbye pizza hut!

Food wasnt bad. However, my interest was in the wine. They charged me $12 for a 6oz glass (napa cab). However, firstly they served the wine in a regular table wine glass with no room to swirl. Secondly, the wine they served must have been from a bottle left open at least a day. It just lacked the flavor, smell, etc. And their wine collection is quite average and the pricing on them is ridiculous. I would never visit again.

Delicious crispy and thin crust pizza...not your ordinary round pie! I love the one with all the meats! It may seem a little on the pricey side at first (for a pizza), but you definitely get you moneys worth with these guys! Clean, well maintained and welcoming restaurant! If you are looking for a better and different pizza from your usual "go to" pizza joint, you gotta try this place. I love it and hope you do too!

First time here, love the atmosphere. Just enough light to make it romantic. The service is superb, fast and polite. The wine selection is relevant not outdated. The soups are delectable. The entrées are reminiscent of my grandmothers genuine Italian cooking. I will endeavor to return often. I almost forgot about dessert, the creme brulee was astonishing. So impressed I even ordered bread pudding to go.

Wonderful food and service. Ten of us came at 6:30 on a Saturday night. Our server was prompt, efficient, professional and genuinely nice to our whole group. Everyone really loved their food. It felt like a high end Italian family run restaurant but the prices were great too. Somehow we were within happy hour so the house wine was 3 bucks for a good glass of wine. Lovely dining experience.

This is my go-to local pizza and Italian restaurant. The atmosphere is pleasant, though I wish there was more natural lighting and more sound absorbing furnishings. It can get quite loud if you dine-in. The staff is always fantastic, and the food is good. They take classic dishes here and prepare it in their own way.

My family and I went for a nice dinner which would not cost an arm and a leg. We had the traditional Italian items (lasagna and fettucini alfredo with chicken and shrimp). We had a pleasant time, the atmosphere was nice, the server was adorable. The food was delicious, and the bill was not crazy high. I loved it :)

Went with friends on 02/19, food was good, service was very slow and server was rude. She basically bused the table when we were done, clearing everything off it before she was willing to give us our checks. After two months, it is not the food that stands out...it was the rude service. Will never be back.

Our waitress never asked if we needed refills on our drinks. And even though we requested off the child portion menu for our 10 years old granddaughter she was given an adult portion and we were charged for adult portion. When we called her out about it she acted like we were dishonest about her age.

Awesome Italian food. I usually do not enjoy Italian as the food it usually too salty. This is definitely not the case here. I had the sausage siciliano and would highly recommend it. The vegetables were perfectly cooked (soft but still slightly crunchy). Nice atmosphere, very family oriented.

Went in for a late dinner and everything was tasting great. Well right at the end of our meal we saw a giant cockroach probably larger than the size of my thumb crawling around and told the waiter. He squashed it said that was disgusting and handed us our check as if nothing happened...

My family visited on a Sunday mid-afternoon, had a very good meal. I had the beef tips special, my wife had the scampi ravioli, and my son had the monster lasagna (he couldnt finish it). All very good dishes. iFratellis definitely goes on the short list for when we visit town again.

I always order for pickup here, but I have to say the atmosphere is lovely. Makes me want to prod my boyfriend for a date night. I love the pizza here, and the chicken parmesean is so delicious. You get a huge piece of chicken so come with an appetite. Great Cesar salad as well.
