First off I have never left a review for a company, but I have been extremely disapointed with Rockin S. I have a cruiser at the marina and have been coming to this bar for a long time. They are a new company and I understand there is going to be bumps in the road so I have given them 4 opportunities to improve and it has gotten steadily worse. They spend more time and effort chasing customers down and screaming at them for climbing over the rails than serving their customers (note these were not members of my party but does not make for an inviting atmosphere). The manager argued with our table that our order was correct when it was not, he finally called the server over and the server read back the order as we described, we were at that point offered to have the meal comped however declined as we were not looking for free food but the correct food and quality service, and certainly not to be accused of lying. It took 20 min to get drinks and 1.5 hrs to get food (on 2 seperat occasions one when there was only 3 tables in the whole restaurant). Another time I showed up about 10 min before closing with about 15 people on my boat and they wouldnt even let us in, they came out to my boat told us they were closing soon and wouldnt serve us. Why would you turn down sales and tips? I understand maybe the kitchen being closed but why would you turn down drink service? I have observed several tables having issues and severl involved the same manager. I hope the owners decide to spend some time there and observe there management. On a positive note all but one time we had good wait staff and there pizza is delicious. I have continued to order carry out pizza but I will not be returning to the restaurant which is a huge inconvenience due to the location but Ill be boating to one of the other lake bars from here on out.

The service is absolutely pathetic. I work at the marina Monday through Friday and I will never eat there again. Not only are the waitresses clueless but they are rude. When my daughter and I were overcharged for substituting sides and trying to eat an overcooked burger and under cooked fries, our stupid waitress said thats just how it is. I replied and said well never have lunch here again and she just walked away and we sat for a few more minutes without any manager coming to our table and left. Ive been here 4 times giving it a chance and its a fail! Get a real manager and some waitresses that actually give a damn Sam.

The renovations are nice. The place wasnt very busy but it still took a while to get food and drink. That wouldnt have been an issue except my wife went to the bathroom, there was no toilet paper, no soap and no paper towels. When she came out she told the manager (?) about the bathroom and the length of time to get the food and he told her not to tell him what he needed to do. Given most of the staff are women I wonder how they wash their hands before serving.Mens bathroom wasnt much better trash can over flowing knelt he floor.needless to say we wont be back.

It was nice that I could pull the boat up to the dock at the restaurant. The atmosphere is a little better than Sneaky Petes, but the food isnt any better. The general consensus between all four of us is that the alcoholic drinks seemed to be watered down. The apps were average, and the pizza was burnt. It would have been a little nicer if we were checked on by the wait staff a little more too. Really the best thing going for this place is that you can dock you boat here.

I have a slip here at pier 121 and this place is awesome! Pull your boat up to the slips and enjoy the freshest salad or burgers around. Theyll even ask how you like your burger done. The service here is amazing and wont disappoint! My new go to place

Wife, Mother In law, Daughter and I all went down there to check out the updated Restaurant (I live up the road). I was pleasantly suprised. Great food, great atmosphere, nice live band. Nice for people watching and having a couple drinks. Will be back

Excellent all around. Downfall ... dont come here expecting fast service, its not that kind of place. Slow laid back fun, excellent food and awesome bartenders. Love the place, they pretty much make my dinner every night.
