oh if there only negative star ratings. i used to think the place was ok, mostly b/c its byob & open late. but after my last incident few days prior, never more will our paths cross: 1. there was a roach doing his daily/hourly commute on our table. not the ledge or window or floor, but on the same table as our food. disgusting! & had no fear of approaching aka their roaches have gained audacity! & if u dont know, 1 visible roach = 20 unseen ones. 2. i asked for a to go box. she brought it. then dumped our naan on the floor. hey mistakes happen thats ok. whats not ok is completely ignoring that you should offer to provide me substitute naan for the naan u dropped on your roach infested floor. 3. also not ok is charging me for 2 orders of naan for the 1 order, which you dropped on the floor anyway! & when i placed the order, i asked "is naan or rice included" to which she replied "yes, what kind of naan do you want?" aka u shouldnt be charging me for any naan + replacing my dropped naan. instead u charge me for 2 orders & i go home w/ none? great math. heres some math for u: oblivious service - 1 roach - 2 overcharges - 1 dropped order = 0 the rating you deserve. pls promptly go out of business.

I do not know where to begin.. I had to wait for 50 minutes for my order to get to my table which were easily the worst food I have ever put in my mouth and then as if it was not enough of an experience I was charged $3 more than menu price for an item. I asked why was I overcharged then the reply was "Hamilai ta thaha chaina dai". She was trying to suggest they are just doing their job as their boss is asking them to do so it was not their fault. That was my experience now these are my complaints 1. FALSE ADVERTISEMENT- things that are on the menu doesnt exist in their kitchen 2. FALSE ADVERTISEMENT AGAIN- price on the menu was not what I was charged. 3. Finally and most importantly food SUCKS

Quality going down hill. Interior upgrade looks hideous. (Whats with air rifles on the "decoration" area?). Smells like a wet dog. Two different music playing in the same room makes it just noise. Fix the front door, its been creaking for a while now. Mutton in thali was so watered down, I could barely taste any spices. My wife always enjoyed the chicken chow me in but she barely touched her food this time. I have always supported this place over Everest restaurant since food was always good, but now I am running out of reasons now. Step it up Chef. Your lack of consistency with food quality will take this restaurant down. Good luck.

I wish this review had someway of indicating a negative rating. They should really replace their waiting staff. It takes forever for them to serve. I waited like 15 min in their waiting area to pick up food and no one showed up. Ordered paneer tika masala and was given paneer mattar. Veggie Momo had no achar. It almost appears dont give a damn about customer service. I really do support local nepali business but with the kind of service provided I am not sure if they are worth the support. I hope they really change that aspect of their business before it is doomed for failure.

I ordered chicken thukpa, which i repeated to the waiter 3 times, chicken chicken chicken. But they brought me a veg one. I called for help and a girl came, and i asked weather this is chicken. She nodded and said yes, but i told her i dont see any chicken pieces in it. She went back to verify and and came back and said it was made veg on mistake. I would have been fine with it too but the quality of it was pretty bland. It was just hot water and noodles put on top, with no spices or taste whatsoever. Awful taste, and bad customer service

Newari Platter is one of the best I have ever had. You have to try it! Their dumplings are equally good and so is the Malekhu Macha (fried fish). Definitely one of the better looking Nepali restaurants where you can actually take someone on a date or just enjoy your meal. They have BYOB, which is always awesome! Great place, great food! Students get a discount. My favorite server: Roshan has phenomenal skills. Ask for him if you want a pleasant dining service!

Horrible service! Have now been here over an hour and no food. Asked for it to-go and still no food. People that came in way after us have already ate and left. This is complete BS! Dont waste your money here or time. UPDATE: Got food finally! Then Im charged 31.35. I gave her 35 and she gives me back 3 dollars which is not correct change then check my order.. no rice.. like I ordered. This restaurant needs to close down. Horrible horrible horrible!

The server was very new and charged me extra for wrong order... firstly, she took the wrong order and instead of apologizing charged me for the food. When I requested for manager., didnt even let me to talk to the manager. Moreover, I didnt know the tips was included so left the tip but later on after I came Outside I came to know, when I called back and asked her not to charge me double tips, she still charged me.

Very bad experience with the food. I ordered newari set and asked they packed beans, noodles 3 fish and few marinated chicken meat. Who says thats a newari food? Its a huge insult for us. Even the meat was stinky and was not im a condition to eat. While i talked to the server she was so proud while she spoke and told thats what they serve. I mean who serves stale and stinky food? Also this is not the first time.

I went to visits this place once and believe me it was the worst place I have ever been. They dont even know how to cook it. I order a food called momo and the shape of the food was okay but the ingredients was the worst thing. I mean I can make way better then that. I strongly recommend do not visit this place instead you can find more Nepali restaurants which are way better then this one.

One of the worst experiences I have ever had in a restaurant. I would give them negative stars if I could. The food was awful, the service was beyond bad and they overcharged me on purpose. I would avoid this place like a plague. Never in my life! Update: I had to dispute the transaction with my credit card company and got the refund. First time I have ever had to do this!

Had expectations of nice Nepali food n drove almost 40 mins to reach this place n it ended up as a disaster, I felt that they cant even prepare steamed chicken momos well. It was just pathetic n the mixed fried rice was not even edible at all, I just had to force some through as I was starving. N lastly they made me to wait for this for 30 mins .... m never going back again
