There are hits and misses. This was a total miss. We waited 30 minutes to get water and menus. The tables were not bussed for the entire time we sat there. Waitress took our order and delivered wrong food, another long wait. And finally my eggs were delivered undercooked after all that. Poor waitress was running and bringing wrong food to surrounding tables too.

I have been going to this cafe with my family since I was a kid. Family owned and operated, the staff has always been very friendly to my family and I for years. The food is consistently great and the hot chocolate is darn irresistible. If youre looking for a great breakfast spot, go to Cafe Lago.

Came in around 10:30 AM. There were 3 or 4 tables full. Several un-bussed tables...one clean but had ants. Sat for a long time before a server came to help us. She came back 3 times before taking our order as she was helping one table. Food came out quick. Breakfast tacos mediorce.

The service is great. Waitresses are very kind and courteous. They swing by the table often to top off your coffee, a long forgotten habit by most waiters/waitresses today. I LOVE "Jakes Eggs"! I wake up in the morning thinking about them. One complaint - no WiFi access?

Food was awesome, service was terrible understaffed and rightfully grumpy, shame on the owners for not helping the staff more. We waited for the check for 30 mintes, never got a refil of coffee, then the check was lost. Felt bad for the waitress

Awesome breakfast place! We ordered four of their specials and they all were amazing! The people there were so nice and they even brought a toy for our crying toddler to play with until the food was there. Also the pancakes are really good!

Community breakfast, lunch and coffee house. Indoor and outdoor seating. Pleasant atmosphere with delicious tasty menu items. Very reasonable with good size portions. The wife and I have had breakfast there twice now. Absolutely delicious.

Ive been going to Cafe Lago since I could barely walk. Its a Lakeway staple. The food is always great but the service is always mediocre. Great place for coffee, socializing and enjoying breakfast. Dont come here if youre in a hurry.

Super nice and friendly staff, the atmosphere is great, and the food is delicious. Their scrambled eggs were cooked perfectly, my favorite item was their breakfast tacos. Some of the best ones Ive tasted.
