Kerby Lane has gotten bad COLD FOOD REPEATLY. Went to Kerby Lane a few weeks ago when my daughter and her husband were in town. The food was cold and old. The biscuits and gravy were cold. The biscuits were hard like they were days old. When I said something they said "Oh well, were really busy this morning...". This morning I decided to go back to Kerby Lane. Once again cold food. Order Denver Omelet with some bacon., home fries and english muffin. They forgot the bacon, when they went back to get it a few minutes later they brought cold bacon. Looked like it had been sitting on the counter for awhile. The home fries were cold, english muffin was cold and guess what the omelet was cold too! Kerby lane once was a great place, its a shame to see they go down. The village at west lake location is a huge disappointment

Really great place to get an understanding of what "keep Austin weird" really means and get some great food while you do so. Theyre known for their specialty pancakes, the flavors of which change every day, but pretty much everything on the menu is fantastic. The summer sandwiches are awesome and the tomato pie and eggs Benedict are to die for. My personal favorite is the Greek plate, but keep in mind its large so its great to split or take half home with you for lunch the following day. Also, they can make anything on their menu vegetarian. And not "fake" vegetarian. They do have substitutes that they will put in place of the meat, cheese, and other dairy peoducts that wont make you twinge. Overall an awesome place for breakfast, lunch, or dinner!

Went here against my own will, because every other Kerbey Lane in this town has made me sick. Family from out of town was dead set on going here, this location is much better than the other locations. Its nicely renovated and caters to its surrounding area. The service wasnt bad here, the food was okay, but I feel that if I was looking for breakfast there are other places I would go to. The have a slightly different menu here as well. I believe this location is better than the rest of the Kerbeys.

I come here regularly and on my most recent trip I brought two friends from out of town. One enjoys seeking out healthy food options while the other has an unwavering preference only for more traditional foods. While this often results in a difficult choice when eating out, at Kerby Lane Cafe they both found meals that they very much enjoyed and that catered to each of their preferences. With several locations in the Austin area its a must try when youre looking for a casual meal.

Bit of a pain to get in and out of this location. However the service is quick and the food is good. There can be a bit of a wait at lunch if you are close to noon but they generally turn things over so youre rarely waiting long. Food is solid with lots of really tasty options. Staff is friendly and fast and that makes it a pleasure to eat here.

This place is run by some very caring people. Went to lunch. Meal took a our 30 minutes to come out. My colleagues and I werent really concerned, but a manager came and comped our meal. That tells me they hold themselves to a high standard, and dont just do the right thing when provoked. The food was also great. I love breakfast for lunch.

This is their newest location and it doesnt disappoint. The interior feels more open and modern than the others and it has a nice outdoor patio area (covered so manageable year round!). Same great menu and seasonal favorites. Cant go wrong with their pancakes and Ive also come to love their tofu scramble!

I didnt enjoy kerby lane as much as I would have, their pancakes taste bland and they dont have much taste to them, and the side orders dont come with much, yet they are still expensive. Waiters are very nice, and sevice is average, and restaurants look clean and organized.

Cozy, traditional breakfasts and rotating seasonal menus. Massive portions. Breakfast served all day is perfect for sleepy weekends. They also seem to crank out a lot of to-go orders. Love the cappuccino! A little slow sometimes, but usually because they are packed.

Great queso and salsa. Friendly staff. I got a salad, it was huge. They have extremely large portions so make sure you are hungry when you go. The parking lot gets super busy so parking can be a pain. Go after the lunch/dinner rush and it wont be a problem.

Definitely did not live up to the Kerbey Lane standard. My eggs were cold, sausage patties were hard (I needed a steak knife). Seriously, what happened to the always awesome Kerbey Lane standards?? They are not even busy, so thats not an excuse... :-/

Every time I go there the food is not very good. And Everytime I go there I get a stomachache before I get home. I keep giving chances. A free the pancakes again to his morning we decided we wont go back. Too expensive for bad food.

An Austin eating institution. Even breakfast all day long if you want. Beef or vegan. Something for everyone. Several locations. You cant say youve visited Austin Texas if you havent eaten there.

Excellent waiters. They had us (a table of 9) seat promptly, and they memorized our orders perfectly when we asked to split each tab after eating. The food was quick, cooked right, and delicious.
