I will not return. After being seated, and drink orders taken, we sat for about 15 minutes...then someone finally asked if we had been helped. We then gave our order. Then, we waited and waited, and finally had to asked for our chips and salsa. Once our drinks were empty, they stayed empty....even though we lined them up at the end of our table. We had to hunt down someone to fill them, TWICE. We finally got our food. Then we waited, and AGAIN, had to hunt someone down for the tortillas that come with our meals. So, now we are ready to eat....and then my daughter bites into her Fautas and there is not one but THREE inch long bones in her meat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I tried to down play it for her sake, but now I am grossed out. I had the chicken enchilladas...and now I am hunting for bones. I really expect more for a meal that is $8.50. Our waiter--I guess realizing he needed to try and salvage his tip--told us he wasnt going to charge us for our drinks. Nice try. He was only aware of the poor service, HIS poor service. I took our bill to the cashier, and she asked about our meal, and I told her that it was really awful. Not only did we have to darn near beg to get waited on, there were full bones in the flautas. She said, sorry, as she charged me full for all meals. Thats ok, I just wont be going back. I am way to grossed out to even think about it. Ewww. I will not make this mistake again. Just awful service, and the food really wasnt good even w/o the bones.

A few years ago we came here on our way to the Renaissance Festival in Houston. Heading out to Seguin we gave it a go again since we liked it. Lunch was much busier compared to a Friday late afternoon dinner like we did back then. The service was sometimes a little slow, but considering how many people were there, how busy they were and also how it seemed to have few staff covering all of it, it was appropriate. Chips and salsa were fresh and the salsa had a great flavor and solid kick that crept up on you. Queso was good, though having been on more of a diet for a while the same cravings and tastes have changed so not as much was eaten (the small is likely plenty for 2-3 people). I got chicken and cheese enchiladas with their Verde and original sauces and preferred the Verde much better. The original sauce reminded me of the kind you had in school, which I never cared for. The Verde was excellent and had good flavor without a lot of heat. Wife got chalupas which were good and she ordered a side of guacamole that originally didnt come to the table but was corrected when we asked again. Mother in law got tacos which she enjoyed as well. Overall the food was good, hot, and fresh. Service was what youd expect for a busy lunch hour and a little crazy, so again, understandable. Well be back next time we head that way, unless were not craving tex mex.

My grandmother went to this restaurant today and found a huge piece of plastic in her caldo. When she brought it up to the server, the server, Oraila, was very apologetic and understanding. However, the manager wasnt. The manager on duty was very rude and unprofessional. The waitress told my grandmother that she wouldnt be charged for her soup for the inconvenience. My grandmother felt sick to her stomach so she didnt even finish her food after finding the plastic in her meal. She asked Oraila if she would take the pieces of meat home to feed to her cats, and Oraila said it would be no problem whatsoever. However, the manager came over and threw a fit and was saying "Oh no, you are not allowed to take that home. The cats will get sick." So basically what the manager is implying is that its okay for my grandmother to eat the caldo and possibly get sick but not her cats? Very unprofessional and horrible customer service experience. This business is lucky it wasnt a child that swallowed that plastic and started choking. I dont know that mangers name but she needs to take a step back and try and understand things from a paying customers point of view. We will not be back to this restaurant and they will not get our business again.

This was out first time here and we loved it. I had the #15. I had the beef enchilada, which was delicious. Rice and beans were yummy. The taco and chulupa were really good as well. Hubby had the #19. He had the pork chops, which he said were over cooked. His meat was dried out. He liked his beans and rice, said it was yummy as well. He had a sweet tea which he said was good but was a little sweet. I had the beers which were great. Chips and salsa were great. The salsa was really spicy but great. The waitress was sweet. Our food took longer than usual. It took about 30 minutes to get us our food though. People who arrived way later than us were getting their food and I was already almost done with my second beer by the time we got our food, it just took way too long. Its a nice hole in the wall Mexican restaurant. Give it a try. They have beer but no mixed drinks so if youre looking for a margarita look down the road somewhere else. Nice little restaurant. Give it a shot. Now were giving this a 4 because it took awhile to get us our food. The food was good though.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! After being seated, we waited ten minutes to recieve menus and its because we had to ask for them. After ordering our food it took forty minutes for us to recieve, to which I was highly disappointed in the quality of the food and services. We had to asked for refills on our drinks. I dont plan on returning to dine at this restraunt again.

"su casa" is a hint where this restaurant is concerned. u should eat at "your house", instead of paying to eat here. lousy service & food that makes u think three or four times before u think, well, i paid, maybe i should at least taste it. i only ate there coz i was in a hurry & was driving by. go somewhere else...ur digestive tract will thank u for it.

I love Su Casa Café. They have the best breakfast tacos in seguin. They are at a reasonable price and their salsa is to die for. Su Casa Café Salsa Casera is the best salsa in town. They also have the best Mexican food and the staff there is great. It is a great place to take your family for a nice meal.

I absolutely LOVE this place! If you live in Seguin, you need to get a band card from one of the high school kids for their nachos! I go to the high school across the way and come here to eat after school sometimes. Great food, great service, and great atmosphere! You have to come here!

I just dont like this restaurant at all. I feel like the quality of the food here is not as good as everyone says. Yes it might look nice and the girls who work there are all smiles but I just dont like the food. It doesnt taste like real mexican food.
