The staff here is super unfriendly if you try to sit down within an hour of closing. Its obvious that they more concerned in getting long run beer tips at $7-9 a pint, than they are providing good service. They make it known that your inconvenient and unwelcome, even if you try and get a food order from the kitchen to go. I would suggest coming here unless you like over priced beer, unfriendly service, and walking out without food.

The atmosphere is so friendly and very nice. Like a sports bar and grill but with a higher quality and quant touch. The food was fabulous. Such a variety from the Scottish eggs to the Chicken fried ribeye. The grilled shrimp salad was great. Many different beverage choices as well. So if you like a glass of wine or whisky or a fantastic beer with your meal be sure and stop at the Wayside Pub.

My husband had fish and chips. He said he has had better at some fast food chains. I had the Royal (I think) Burger. Its a burger with a fried egg on it. It was good but nothing special. My daughter-in-law had the steak, hashe and mash. She said it was good but not great. We each had a cup of soup, french onion and potato with leek. The soup was really nice. Service was good.

This is the place to be if youre not into the younger club type setting. The food and drinks are great here, they do Trivia on Tuesday nights and its always fun and entertaining. The atmosphere is really good, it can get loud inside but the patio outside is very nice and the live music they have is usually pretty good. Always a great go to for dinner and drinks.

Fish was extremely old and brown in the fish and chips. The eggs in the Scotch eggs had been boiled several days prior and were cold and the sausage was not completely cooked. horrible food....I will not be back. The waitress was sympathetic and went to get the manager but she said he couldnt get off the phone to talk to us

We waited for an hour for food when people came in and sat down and got theres before us. Then when we finally got our meals, we never had our silverware.I really wouldnt recommend this place for service (unless you are single and sit at the bar)

I thought the food was O.k. Mashed potatoes were from a box and I think the gravy was from a box or packet. Not homemade. I had fish n chips and again just O.K. The service was good and the ambience was really spot on British pub.

Decent food at a fair price, however the service was a little awkward. We stayed and talked for a little after the meal, and could tell the staff wanted us to leave, even though there were several empty tables nearby.

The beer menu is apparently out of date as we were told that something on the menu was not available until other beers were sold. Reuben balls were decent, but the waiter talked me out of the scotch eggs. Meh.

Bartenders spent ample time toward patrons...muscley manager seemed to avoid mutltiple bartender issues to attend to his own facets instead...making his own drinks for friends instead of helping workers.

I love this place. Friendly service, accommodating staff and good food. Drinks are delicious. Beware its a gut bomb, heavy sauces, lots of meat and large portions!
