Our first visit to Bella Vita, and it did not disappoint! I enjoyed the Spicy Romano Chicken, a spicy cream sauce tossed w/penne pasta, grilled chicken, mushrooms, green onions, artichoke hearts, red peppers & Romano cheese. My man friend really liked the Flavors of Italy: Chicken Parmesan, Fettuccini Alfredo & a delicious Beef Lasagna. The entrees were served with excellent warm garlic buttered bread & your choice of soup, gumbo, side salad or Caesar side salad. We both had side salads. Our traveling companions savored the Sausage & Chicken Gumbo, Three Pepper Soup (soup of the day), and the Wedge Salad, as their sides. They ordered the Chicken Parmigiana, and the Petit-cut Top Sirloin Steak with the Oscar Topping (lump crab meat drizzled with Béarnaise sauce), as their entrees. They reported that all was excellent! The atmosphere is casual country villa, and is great for couples, families, and larger groups. Prices are refreshingly moderate. Our service was excellent. Thanks, Macey. Ive been here a few times with family. The food is good, the atmosphere pleasant. The service has left something to be desired. The past 2 times Ive ordered the soup and salad, it is on the menu as all you can eat. Never has the wait staff asked me if I wanted more. They do not return to check on us or ask if we need anything. I had to ask mutiple times for what I wanted and asked the other waiters for service. Our waiter spoke rudely to us at the table, reluctantly brought me a second salad and begrudgingly another soup. After not being present nearly our entire meal, he brought the bill and stood in the middle of the dining room glaring at us. He made us uncomfortable and our lunch less enjoyable. We will not be going back.

Can we get a 0 rating option? First time to visit, horrible experience, Im forever traumatized. We were seated in an area with very few people, including a screaming kid. It took over 30 minutes for our food to arrive, and we didnt see our waitress much. There is no pasta included in their food, or maybe we went on a day they ran out. With all the meat I was served I could have made a taco or a nice hamburger, the veggies smelled burnt ,tasted and looked burnt. Yep , they were burnt, thanks but next time I want to blow $50 Ill give my money to one of my favorite politicians.

We are from New England and their Italian food is as close as we have been able to come to good Italian food since we moved down here to Kerrville. They have now expanded their menu and are serving Cajun food and steaks so a little bit of everything, owned by the same family that own Billie Genes across the street great food, great staff. Great prices eat in or take out.

My favorite restaurant in Kerrville! They have a very friendly staff and good menu options. I especially enjoy their soups with Italian wedding and chicken and sausage gumbo on the menu daily and soup of the day that rotates between many delicious options. The calamari is very good as is the toasted ravioli. The wine selection is very good as well.
