Im staying at the hotel right behind Save Inn, so I decided to walk over and grab some breakfast this morning. At first I thought I had stumbled into a geriatric dining hall, since I was the youngest person eating there by about 20 years. That quickly faded as I was greeted by a wonderful server, who shortly after brought me the best cup of coffee Ive had while traveling this past week. Everyone is extremely friendly, including the other customers who all seem to be regulars. It was like eating breakfast with the family! The food followed the theme set so far by the fantastic service and coffee. The smell of the biscuits was intoxicating, the pancakes were huge and very delicious, and the bacon was thick and smokey. If I didnt live several thousand miles away, this would be a regular spot for me.

When traveling we like to find the local restaurants with that small town, home cooking feel. This was definitely one of those places. The breakfast was great and they even got my bacon crispness right on the first try, which almost never happens. The only down side to this restaurant was the parking lot was a little small but the food made it absolutely worth any tiny inconvenience. If Im in Kerrville again I will definitely eat here again!

What a great unassuming diner. Walk-in and seat yourself. Everything was piping hot, fresh and the salsa was so good my husband bought some for the road. It is set back off the road and you can almost miss it. I can see why so many of the locals reviews had such high praise. We would definitely stop here again on our travels.

A local favorite, this unassuming diner is easy to pass by in the sight of a full parking lot and the IHOP down the street. Dont. Do yourself and your tastebuds a favor and drop by, and enjoy a good homestyle meal that wont break your wallet and will leave you coming back again and again.

I have been coming to this little mom and pop restaurant since I was a little girl and still to this day 20 years later the environment is still friendly and the food taste like home.... I recommend this to anyone who may need a good home cooked meal.

Loved this place. We received excellent service. My wife had french toast, which she enjoyed. I had eggs benedict and the best hash browns ever...crispy and moist (oil flavor). They didnt have sweet tea, but Ill let em slide. Well be back for sure.

I have yet to be disappointed with their food. I always try to order something new off the menu and its good. Ordered the Gyro...hit the stop especially when I didnt know what I wanted! Tzatizi sauce looked homemade but it was delicious!!

Eat at the Save Inn Restaurant every chance you get. Always nice people, great service, and a really good kitchen. Best breakfast anywhere, imo, Is the Save Inn Scramble. Eat it. You wont be sad.

Being a local I liked coming here. But after a few years is gradually gotten worse on the food dept. Especially after they served me a premade burger. Breakfast isnt too bad though.
