First time here for breakfast. As I sat down and waited for the waitress I could see and hear her in the distance coughing away. Lifting her shirt up over her mouth and coughing into it made me feel a little uneasy. When she brought my glass of water her fingers were touching all around the lip of the glass. Yes, I notice that kind of stuff even though I usually use a straw. As I was looking at the menu and she walked away I heard more constant coughing and hacking. Ill be honest, I didnt even try breakfast which might have been delicious. But between the hacking and fingers around the rim of the glass my stomach decided it was time to leave. I dont think I will be back.

Waited 45 minutes for food because the blond waitress forgot to turn in our order. She was too busy with the table of men who came in after us serving & attending to them with there over the line jokes. When we finally said we would have to go we had to be in Dallas by 10 she said did we want to take our food with us. REALLY!!! THEN I went to pay for coffee the lady at the cash register is trying to figure out how to void our ticket & I said you really are going to take my $4.00 for coffee & I waited 45 minutes for a breakfast I never got & she said yes. I said ok you will not see us again.

Breakfast is great during breakfast hours. Large servings and fresh biscuits, grits and gravy. But dont order breakfast later in the day or youll get cold grits, lumpy gravy and hard biscuits. The waitress will eventually get around to take your order and she might get it right the first time. The Cafe could use a good cleaning. I am a stickler about dust, dead flies and spider webs. And dont get me started about the entry door and door handle. I do recommend their morning breakfast. You wont be disappointed.

The waitress tried and was friendly. The food was blah, cold, and overall not worth the money. I was extremely disappointed. Next time will run to mcdonalds instead. I wish i had money back it was that bad. Will never go back. Only positive was the waitress was working hard and trying. To bad the rest of the experience was so bad. Had two different meals at our table one not how we asked for it. The other had cold eggs and runny. Sausage was comparable to jimmy deans microwave sausages but not as much flavor.

Nothing. We sat down for breakfast and the coffee cups were dirty. One had gravy all down the side. It was replaced with a second cup that had lipstick on the rim. I got up and left, my wife was more civil, she waited and the waitress returned and stated "I hope this cup is clean enough for you!" Rude staff, unhealthy conditions and just nasty.

I have been here before however today service was bad. Even though it was Sunday names were omitted from the wait and people was still waiting. Table of 11 who ordered right before me had their food and was finishing up before my food arrived. Either the kitchen needs more cooks or the wait staff needs to be trained better

If you love tasteless meatloaf drowning in red water, if you love instant mashed potatoes, if you LOVE to hear the employees complaining non-stop about their shifts, about the customers, about other employees...then you will love Dove Creek Cafe. I dont. So I will never go back as long as I live.

Came here for breakfast and even though it was a very busy morning (Celebrate Roanoke was going on) it was a great experience. The food was wonderful, employees were friendly, and my coffee never got cold since our server came by quite frequently with the carafe to refill my cup.

Did not like it. Food was not so good. We walked in and was asked if we had a reservation bc it was gossip night. Lady was rude. Heard waitresses complaing and they were so loud it was hard to hear my husband talk. Wont go back again.

Now that Dove Creek is NON-SMOKING, it is hands down the best place to get breakfast in the Northwest DFWMetro area. The food has always been great, and now they have the environment to match. By the way the pies are great too!!!!

The food was just good down home cooking, great service/wait staff, friendly atmosphere. This was my first visit but I envision many more. Looking forward to a Tuesday night trip to enjoy some southern gospel with my meal.

I love this little place! It may be a bit on the pricey side but the food is always delicious and the kids always ask to come back. I highly recommend you leave room for some pie at the end of the meal!
