Honest Review " Dont be Cheated" absolutely pathetic place ( Give it a shot and try for once, you will agree) reasons below..1. awful condition, they dont even have proper ventilation and AC even in this hot weather ( Month of June), place looks cramped just a row of chairs, 2. Dont be carried away by the Thalli Unlimited, the folks there are just there to make money and not even considerate to provide basic running a restaurant, this place sucks with just couple of items and that too stale ones not sure how old was the "Papu Dal", No service you need to get everything on your own and they Charge $$11 bucks 3. One of the guys who was at the billing counter was also helping to server the food, fill the palates and cups with items and curries, he was so unhappy and frowning when asked for extra rice and curries , we were totally pissed off by his attitude and body language 4. We thought KUmar Mess was so stingy and bad with providing food and service but these folks have beat the record.. 5. Finally on the cost with this kind of food and environment, no waiter / waitress to help and serve, guess the indian folks are keen to squeeze and make more money rather than provide a decent food for the money they charge.. This is the worst Indian restaurant in Texas...we ordered Tiffin combo and nilgiri Korma thali....dosa was cold..idli is hard..and mehdu vada (should I say onion vada) shambhar was stale..horrible food...now worst part thali...if you want to eat thali go somewhere not here....Korma was full of mint..i mean it was mint only ....food was stale...I asked for garlic naan and paid extra money for it..but they gave me regular naan...when I made complaint..the answer was". I m sorry..the new girl took wrong order..but he was the ass who took my order..." He did not even gave my money back untill I went to see other cashier bcz I paid extra for naan. the owner is more greedy then cashier and he didnt care for his customers at all....the restaurant name is now..." The stale Indian food"...worst customer service...plz dont go...plz I beg you if you want save your money and health ignore this restaurant...southern spices....

Should get a food inspection done at this place. They dont inspect the food. Please read once before you plan your visit. I have been a regular customer to this place until 07/03/2016. We(friends) have complained to the guy present at counter about the spoiled dhaal which is one of the dishes in Thaali/lunch buffet & chicken Biryani. I had to tell to two different guys to remove that spoiled food from counter/thali menu and stop serving rest of the customer One of guy just ignored to our group about it and served the people right after us. We forced them to get it removed from there. Well nothing happen to anyone, but its not healthy either. At least I dont pay to eat spoiled food. Isnt that a minimal responsibility of the restaurant/chef to check what food they are serving to customer ? This is our bad experience. At-least I never been to a restaurant which served spoiled food near Irving area.

Probably the best Indian food I have ever had, anywhere! Being my first time in Dallas on a work trip, and staying at the hotel next-door, I ventured out to find something good for lunch and ended up here because I love Indian food and thought Id give it a shot. Although it did take an awfully long time to get my order, it was well worth the wait! I ordered the chicken korma and could not believe when I brought it back to my hotel room and opened the bag to find the attention to detail and quality of food, not to mention the garlic naan, which was UNREAL! I only wish I had come sooner, because I know Ill leave tomorrow and will be dreaming of this place for a long time. Do yourself a favor and eat here, Im sure everything is amazing!

Inconsistent restaurant is what I explain if someone ask me to rate this restaurant in simple words. My first visit to this place was predominantly good. Tandoori platters was what I ordered and there was nothing to give a thumps down. I was totally happy. But my recent visit made me feel highly dissappointed. It was untidy we even got some strands of hair from food, tandoori platter was not the taste I expected for. Garlic naan with sauce combowas the very strange combination I ever seen In my life and unfortunately I got that thali combination this time. In short my day and mood got spoiled.

Ordered from here a couple times via UberEats so I will be reviewing from that perspective. The packing of the to-go order was very good. The main dish, sides, and sauces were packaged individually and secured. Please note you have to specify utensils and napkins in the UberEats request for those who need it. The food itself was very good! I had the chicken biryani and chicken marsala. Everything was large portions too. Im saving this place as a favorite in UberEats.

The food here is Amazing ! My only concern and the reason I removed two stars from the rating is because they served Stale food. The tomato rasam (soup) they served was stale and was stinking. I assume they cook everything fresh if so why was the rasam smelling bad. I hope they take this positively and serve fresh food , that could only make them stand out coz the food here tastes like home made food without overpowering spices. I liked it very much.

The food was great, pleasant ambience and service was friendly. We were totally happy seeing some unique aspects of this business that you cannot find in any Indian restaurant . While they have preserved the nativity in the food, they have taken a modernistic approach in their presentation. Give it a shot to try something nice and unique. Make sure you take their menu as you enter if the board overwhelms you. 100% satisfied with the food and service.

This place was garbage. Everything is so damn flavorless. It was so damn overpriced for the nasty food I got. $17 and I couldnt eat more than 4-5 bites. I got the chicken shehk kabob and it honestly didnt look anything like chicken. First of all it was all fajita style, chicken strips served on a bed of vegetables all on a cast iron skillet so weird to call it kabobs. But then it tasted and looked like tofu. Never going back

Bad food, worst customer service and big attitude of owner Satheesh.. Stand in a Q and order the food..Ambiance is not good and not for family dining..Its a same old chapati grill, they are selling same old wine in a new bottle.. Why to pay $8 or $ 9 for a thali with limited food and hesitate to serve while we get full buffet for $9 or $10 Please look for other options when we have so many Indian restaurants in Irving area.

You should try ! We recently ordered catering for Frisco location , was skeptical at first while ordering but they nailed it. Quality, taste, spice and food is very fresh and served well. They gave good portions and helped all the way along.. responded and reacted to our requests all along and listened with patience ( we changed a lot in between:-) . I looked at their Ala carte menu..looks fusion and good.. will try soon !
