Ive been a regular of this place for over 8 years and I tell everyone I meet about it! A great local establishment! A cornerstone of Valley Ranch that never stops improving! Simply the best NY-style pizza in Dallas. Whole pies or by the slice. Its all in the amazing fresh hand-tossed dough! They also have plentiful pasta dishes (I like a little spinach ravioli with chicken) made fresh right before your eyes. Dont be afraid to customize either! Like your pizza crust a little crispier? Just tell em! A small (full) bar with 5-6 stools that is tended in the evenings. The young blonde isnt the best but she was hired to relieve the cooks from trying to serve drinks AND cook! If youre not having a drink, you can still belly up to eat and chit chat! Usually the fùtbol/football/baseball game is quietly playing on the TVs. (Ask to change to your game if two TVs are on same). Light jazz/opera/etc music plays overhead. Now there is an outside covered patio for when the weather is nice or you just want to sit outside. Old and young, families, youth sports teams, business lunch crowd, youll see it all. Its an all around welcoming place! Tall tables, low tables, booths, pick whats comfortable for you as its a casual relaxed atmosphere. Beno, the owner, is a great guy and is generally always there greeting and getting to know his customers. He TRULY cares about his restaurant. The staff is great and always have a smile on their faces. If youre looking for great food and good people, drive past all those other places and stop here! Youll be glad you did!

The food is some of the best Italian food Ive had in the DFW area, regardless of price. The pizza and calzones are great. I recommend getting an alfredo pizza with pepperoni or chicken. They will make you whatever you want. While known for their pizza, their pasta dishes are outstanding as well. The alfredo with chicken is absolutely delicious. Very creamy alfredo sauce with great flavor. Another thing that is great about NYPP is its a family run business and the owners are always working there and seem to remember everyone that eats there more than once. You might also like to know that while its a very casual atmosphere where you order in front of the kitchen, they do have wine, beer, and liquor and will bring it to you at your table. Awesome place and wonderful family running it. You really do need to make it there whenever you are in the Las Colinas area.

So confused how this place has stellar reviews. Ive been here twice, the first which I remember eating an unimpressive calzone, not terrible but nothing to write home about. I went again recently for some to go food, a hot sub. Grabbed it, drove home, and realized this thing was ridiculously heated up. I opened it up, fanned it a bit, and still had to wait a while before I could take a careful bite, it was way overheated. Theyd cut it in half so I worked on one end, fanning it and taking bites as I could but even then I still burned my mouth a bit. Even after all this time, the other side still had to be fanned before I ate. The meat was kinda mushy, the vegetables soggy, the entire thing was disappointing, and definitely not worth the $9 price tag for just a sub

I am disappointed with my most recent order. I had it delivered to my house. It ordered the meat lovers calzone with mushrooms. The following picture shows you half of my calzone. As you can see its almost empty. I had it delivered and when I open the bag I have only 2 tiny containers with some marinara sauce. Wasnt enough. I also ordered some mozzarella sticks which was blah. I paid 5 dollars total for delivery ( 1.99 delivery charge plus 3 dollar tip) so my grand total was 19 and change. Definitely not worth my money. I didnt enjoy the food at all. However their pizza is good. Have had it in the past. Would I return? Just for the pizza.

Hands down the best Italian food Ive eaten. The pizza is crisp, hot and sumptuous - just the way I like it. He grills the veggies on a skillet which adds to the taste and reminds me of how pizzas are in New York. While you are there you should try out his penne arabiata - easily the best pasta in town. The aroma from the food is so good that it makes your mouth water just in anticipation. Eat the bread rolls while you are waiting on your order. I like mine with a dip made from olive oil, garlic, crushed peppers, salt, rosemary and oregano. This dip is not on the menu so you will have to ask for it.

Ok... being a Northeast native.... I know good pizza. The Pizza as a whole is a B... the slices are huge...the dough is delicious lots of good cheese and they are not stingy on the toppings, however if you are looking for a standard thin crust.... this isnt the place...it is more like the thickness of a Sicilian pie. The sauce was good flavor, but my personal preference is no tomato skins in it...if they strained there sauce I would give it an A. The staff was great... very friendly and attentive.

Dont eat this stuff if you are dieting. The slices are huge (even the medium pizza is huge) and theres enough grease on it to make bacon jealous. However, its the best tasting pizza in Valley Ranch. Its sloppy and gooey and done the way pizza should be done. Very reasonably priced, quick, and local, this place dominates any of the major chains locally available. It actually reminds me of Pizza Queen in Cleveland.

Great service and easy to understand menu with some great pricing for large quantities of great food. Ive visited this establishment quite a few time and quality never seems to go down while value is always great. The staff is easy to talk and incredibly friendly, they seem like the perfect family restaurant. I have yet to get a wrong order and I cat recommend this place enough for authentic Italian cooking.

I love this restaurant, Ive been eating here for years and have written great reviews for it. Last night I had a so so experience. I ordered lasagna to go for the first time. It wasnt good. It was lasagna noodles, but Im guessing the meat was chicken? It was white. It was not beef nor pork. There was no ricotta, no herbs. It was awful. I ordered a meat lasagna and Im not sure what this was.

Easily the best pizza place I know. The best pizza there is the plain cheeze. Occassionally I will get some of their Ballin pasta. The chicken alfredo is to die for. They also have good sandwitches. The meatball one is my favorite. The staff are awesome, this place is my main pizza joint and I dont know how ill handle myself when I go off to college in a year.

This pizza place is probably one of the best Ive ever had. Even their pastas are not too shabby. The staff and owner are real nice people. Very friendly and very attentive. It cozy and a good place to eat and have lunch. The patio is awesome when the weather is nice. If youre looking for a good slice of pizza and nice quiet place. This is for you.
