So we usually order from here often. The wait is usually long but we used to consider it worth it. Some creepy guy that delivers would always stalk us and be uncomfortably friendly so we eventually start ordering from somewhere else. Today we called in an order and he said it would be an hour. After an hour and a half we call the store to check on the status. The manager gets in the phone and says that the delivery driver gave it to a man by the elevator who said it was his food. No one came to knock on our door. No one called to confirm. Some man signed our credit card receipt and took our food. I have an issue with that because Ive already waited an hour and a half and due to the incompetence of the delivery driver thats prolonged. Mind you my mother had just gotten off of a lengthy flight. So as Im telling the manager that I do not know who it was that took the food but he was not with us. He said he would send another order but it would take 40 minutes so we declined because that would be over 2 hours wait for food that is not worth that at all. The manager had a horrible attitude and was incredibly rude when I asked him if he would reverse the charge. So then, being that its my mothers card being used she calls the store to get an understanding of the situation. She asked for the manager and he immediately started to cut her off and yell at her. He complained about how he lost food. Now I dont know how complicated the service industry is but yelling at customers whom youve just messed up with is not a smart way to get return business. Needless to say we will NEVER order from here again and I would recommend you dont. If youre looking for good pizza try ifratelli or literally ANY OTHER STORE besides this one. Complete tacky, unprofessional, non-friendly excuse of a business with no concept of customer service.

I am a 47 yrs old native born & raised South Side Chicagoan, residing in Texas. Ive searched high & low through out the metroplex for "True Chicago Style Pizza". When I heard about this place, living only a few miles from the location, I was absolutely thrilled! considering I found another Chicago Style Pizza Restaurant in Arlington off of -I20 West (which, by the way, is SUPERB and VERY CLOSE to CLASSIC Chicago DEEP DISH PIZZA) Chicago Gourmet Pizza in Irving, I cant express the disappointment when visiting your business a few weekends ago. I had been bragging about Chicago Style Pizza to my Texas friends, took a chance and came out to give you a try... The actual restaurant decored very much Chicago Style, great service, clean - however, the pizza was HORRIBLE! thats if youre comparing it to True Chicago Style. This was a SAD version of Chicago Pizza! I ordered the deep dish, it was more a suped up version of Digiorno frozen pizza - very misleading... I left very sad and disappointed. I may or may not go again, if I do, it will not be for pizza! For those who know TRUE CHICAGO PIZZA - this is not it!! Tip: Please research the recipe again!!!

I live and work in the Las Colinas Urban Center and there are a couple of pizza places in the area, Italian Cafe on Las Colinas Blvd (which features a full bar) and Chicagos Gourmet Pizza. I order from Chicagos 3-4 time a month because they use quality ingredients, much better than Italian Cafe, and they have good flavor. The best values are the Calzone, which is one of the better Calzones Ive had, and any of the pastas (They fill a dish to the brim in most cases and the pasta is cooked properly without being overdone). My friends like the Chicago style dogs very well and weve been impressed by the Greek salad. The pizza uses quality ingredients but isnt true Chicago style and, as such, is overpriced if just one person is ordering pizza. I did enjoy the pizza when I ordered it but find the Calzone to be my favorite item on the menu. If you like fresh garlic flavor, youll definitely appreciate their sauces. Every time I go in to pickup an order (Ive never eaten in the restaurant), at least a couple tables have been occupied. Not exactly Chicago but very yummy food from my experience.

Its a shame that this place isnt better. Its a gourmet pizza place right across the street from my office, and I really want to like it. But I cant. Ive given it 3 chances, and have been burned each time. First time took over an hour of waiting for the food to arrive. Service was awful. Second time was delivery, and they took an hour and a half to get it to me - across the street. The third and final time was today. I dined in with my wife and new baby. The guy waiting tables was a jerk who scowled at us while we ordered. When my pizza arrived (didnt take too long this time), I noticed that it wasnt made right. I brought it up to the guy who took my order, and he actually argued with me that I had ordered it wrong, and then refused to correct the mistake. I left without getting my pizza - had to settle for burritos at Chipotle instead. Again, its a shame, but this place sucks. If youre looking for a good pizza experience, look elsewhere.

I wish I could give zero stars. I ordered a Chicken Fettuccine and the chicken was pink. looked like imitation crab. Also had a funny taste. I called the restaurant and spoke with the very rude owner of this establishment. He speaks to women in a degrading manner. Im not sure how he is still in business with the lack of customer service he has. The owner told me that if I wasnt satisfied with their food then dont order from them again. I took my order back to the restaurant and the owner was even more belligerent. It was during the lunch hour, with quite a few people in the establishment. The owner didnt want anyone to hear my dissatisfaction, so he told me to zip it(with his finger going across his lips). It took everything in me not to come across the counter on him. I was recording and he told me to put the phone down or he wasnt giving me the refund. This all resulted in me call Irving PD.

Worst service ever. Owner is a complete jerk. When I received what I ordered it was not what the menu stated. I sent it back and the owner told me it was my fault, he proceeded to tell me that I didnt know how to read and asked me to leave. He still tried to charge me even though I never received my food. I am a college graduate and have never been talked to so rudely in my life. I will never come back and have let my entire company that is located about a mile away know how I was treated and they have agreed to boycott this place. He even still tried to charge me even though I did not receive my food. Beware know what your ordering or else the owner will make you feel like you did something wrong. How this place is still in business is beyond me.

We chose this place on a whim today. My boyfriend had looked it up via a Google search and it had mixed reviews... We decided to try it anyway. When we got there we were greeted and told to grab a table. The food was delivered quickly & was A+!! The pizza was cooked perfectly & had great flavor.. My step daughter and I also shared a dessert which was AMAZING (warm, melty cookie dough with ice cream)! Service was prompt & friendly.. the owner was serving us and he is a great guy! He even took the time to chat with us, absolutely nothing like the bad guy they make him seem to be in some reviews! I think we found our new pizza spot in the Las Colinas area!! We will definitely go back and will be recommending it to everyone we know in the area.
