. !!C H E C K!! Y O U R TO-GO !!O R D E R!! While we have been ordering from this restaurant (the 249 location) for YEARS, the cook or bagger or whoever is responsible for packing the orders is simply IRREVERSIBLY STUPID. Only ONE out of every ten orders is ever right, and while the owner of these restaurants is a very nice gentleman, that loyalty and friendship can only endure for so long and truth, is after all, truth: It is a shame he has employees who are so completely irresponsible, inept and incompetent. Today was the straw that broke the camels back so to speak, and we will NOT be back. We ordered a bacon omelette and an order of Huevos Rancheros with bacon. THIS time they forgot the bacon. HOW do you forget bacon? And again, this is par for course for them - 9 times out of 10 (NO exaggeration) something is left out or wrong with the orders. If you absolutely, positively want to order and pick up from them, do yourself a huge favor and CHECK your order before leaving the window. Again though, the owner is REALLY nice and so you should definitely frequent the place, but I cant say it enough ... Mhhhm, CHECK YOUR ORDER. :) .

This was surprisingly good, especially for the price. Also, they make their own flour tortillas...BONUS! Some other reviews complain about service but honestly I dont expect great service when I go to a taqueria. The staff at a taqueria is usually pretty slim and the servers mainly take your order and bring you food. They dont typically make conversation or come around looking to refill your water. If you ask for something theyll take care of it but typically theyre too busy taking orders for the next 2 or 3 tables that sat down since you came in or delivering the food to the previous 2 or 3 tables that were there before you came in. In my opinion, as long as the food is good and the price is right theres not much to complain about and this place scored high on both counts!

The food is always fresh and HOT. We dont really speak Spanish, and some restaurants we have been to have not been kind to our mixed French - Hispanic family. But here we felt very welcomed and didnt feel awkward due to speaking little to no spanish. But the food is delicious, the fresh homemade tortillas and beans are to die for. Any dish you are looking for you will find here. Enjoyed the atmosphere, the only thing I would change is lowering the music. Other than that it a great place to eat and good prices for a family of 9.

The service is ok. I think its the manager who asked him change the soda for me and told me I had to charge extra quee asked refill of tea not like I asked for a glass left over which me.lo Extra charged and above all I was charged for an extra omelette which it is not the .caso but the attitude that I think is the manager of crer wue was lying. I have been several times but this was the last straw. Last time I return and everything is DISCRIMINATION because Im not sad Mexican

Worst customer service, service was horrible had to get up constantly to get my parties drinks, manager was rude, enchiladas are made w flour tortillas so by the time they get to ur table they are hard, margaritas are nasty, dont waste ur time coming here they really dont care bout service, we ordered cheese tip as an appetizer and it was brought to us after the meal bc the waiter forgot, the manager was giving us an attitude when we complained bout seeing roaches under our table

My coworkers and I used to come here for lunch at least once a week. The price to quality ratio is on point - meaning its not world class food, but youre not paying world class prices. You can eat here for lunch often without breaking the bank, and the food is pretty decent. Salsa is also really good. I guess what Im saying is as far as 3-star restaurants go, I give this one 5 stars.

Great place for quick and cheap Taqueria style Mexican food. I had a bowl of Menudo and a couple of Tacos Al Pastor. The menudo was very good, and the tacos were good also. My wife had a burrito, she enjoyed hers also. Green sauce is very good, would like it spicier though. Red sauce was not spicy at all and a little sweet. As I said prices are very good, $2.99 Tortas

This is not one of most favorable restaurants in Houston. Ive ordered here 2 times and the food comes out bland no taste . The enchiladas were not tasty I give it a 3 out of 10 and the migas were the most disgusting ever no taste lack of salt . I can make better food than this and the potatoes were not fresh. I would not recommend this place.

I love eating here, the food is always excellent and the prices are amazing for the size of the meals you get. Ive seen others saying the service isnt great, Ive never had an issue with any of the servers, they are always friendly when I go there. I would, and have recomended this place to countless people and will continue to do so.

Best Mexican restaurant on 249. On a busy Sunday lunch time, we were in and out in thirty minutes. Service and food were excellent! Beef fajita on my tostada was cut up nicely and very tender. Servers are constantly checking up and making sure you are taken care of. Excellenct, excellent, excellent!!

249 location. Columbian restaurant. Food here is amazingly good. I had no idea. I sat down, didnt know what to order and was about to leave. The server than changed my mind and I decided to try the food out. It Was the best Columbian food I ever tried

The food is great. Cheap prices for the amount of food. We go here all the time. Only down side is if you dont speak Spanish its kinda hard to talk to the staff if u get someone whos new or cant speak English that well. But still a great place
