This place just didnt do it for me. My daughter really wanted to eat here and so we did. I thought it was over priced. Almost $30.00 for two salad bars, without a beverage. Yes the salad bar has many options and there are a number of hot soups and breads to pick from, but for someone who follows a low carb lifestyle, all I could really eat is salad. I paid extra to have steak on my salad, and they served it to me ice cold. I told them I would prefer it heated and asked that they heat it and the cashier acted as if it was a huge deals. The manager proceeded to give me a whole speech about how they were not responsible for the texture or flavor of the meat changing if they heated it. Ummm okay, its not that serious. I told them "look, if its that big of a deal, dont bother." They did end up heating it up though. Everything here was just mediocre, nothing made me say "Wow. what a great lunch, I really want to come back". On the salad bar they had a pear and candied walnut salad. You had to search for both the pears and walnuts with a magnifying glass. The one item on the salad bar that I really liked was the wedge salad and my daughter really liked the cheese bread. The highlight of my meal though, was finding a hair in my food. Just what Ive always wanted. It definitely wasnt my hair. It ended any appetite that I did have though. The restaurant was clean and inviting, I just wished the salad bar matched that. Overall, my daughter liked it, but if you told her to pick her last meal on earth to eat, it would be salad. I really have no desire to go back

Sweet Tomatoes is normally a good value for what you get. I wasnt crazy about the "premium" parts of the salad bar. 20 bucks for 2 people drinking tap water, you would think that certain salad ingredients would not cost you more. My visit was on Oct 15 2011, at about 7 PM. As a former restaurant manager, I was upset from the time I entered the dining area, until the time I left. The dining area was incredibly trashed. There were no less than 20 dirty tables (and all of the booths) had plates food etc.. all over them. Napkins on the floor, and piles of straws and straw wrappers all over the floor. I immediately started looking for a manager, because I had nowhere to sit ! One of the wait staff heard me say this to my wife, and cleared a table for us. Incredibly the employees just kept walking by all of the trash on the floor as if it was normal. We ate our salads that were fresh and of good quality. I then proceeded to the soup area only to find that there were no soup bowls. Looking for a manager on the floor again.... Not to be found. I finally was provided with a soup bowl. The broccoli soup was marginal at best. Tasted like they warmed up a mix, and dropped raw broccoli in it. Oh well,, I figured I would drown my disappointment with some chocolate lava cake. When I got there there were only a few small spoonfuls that looked like a herd of cattle had tromped through. The entire time we were there, not a floor manager in sight. Stuff like this just makes me want to go back to restaurants to train competent managers..

The first time I went there I saw the salads and I was like "holy crap! ".Im going there may often but what I hate is that when Im full, I cant eat anymore but my mouth says that I have to have more. The foods I love the most are the baked potatoe with cream cheese and little bits of meat and I also like the ice cream and chicken soup. Ever since this restaurant has been my favorite lace to eat.Plus its close to the mall.

When I went for the 1st I was amazed by the different salad selections along with the many different fruits and vegetables to add to your salad. Then there are the hot soups and different breads including pizza. The place is really nice and it reminds me of another place similar to this to which I enjoy also enjoy. I have not had any problems going here and the price is reasonable. I return from time to time.

We love Sweet Tomatoes at its various locations. They are the next level in the traditional soup and salad bar. The variety of salads and soups are amazing, but there are also several pastas, all kinds of muffins and breads, and lovely dessert choices. You have an all-you-can-eat buffet with unlimited extra helpings of whatever you want. The prices are very reasonable.

We used to go to the Sweet Tomatoes in Brandon, Florida. We enjoyed it there, as well. This is an excellent place for a salad, soup, pasta, and bakery items. The service was good, and the food was very good as well. Only complaint about this location was that their bathrooms smelled like the dishwater in the kitchen. Otherwise, a pleasant, enjoyable experience.

I normally like sweet tomatoes, but this location had such a ghetto feel to it. I know they cant help who their customers are, but when I went it felt like all the other people eating there at the time were homeless. It made the restaurant seem dirty. The food was good at least. They had horchata on tap there too, which was cool I guess, just strange.

As a customer who comes here a lot, i am sad to say the quality has gone down. The recipes are cost cutters and they didnt taste good. Specifically the bread, muffins, pasta dishes and some of the soups. The salad is still great but the magic was in the other stuff and as a trained chef, my opinion is its not the same.

Somewhat remodeled since the last time we were there. All the favorites still available. Large volume of traffic frequents this place. A little less clean than I remember and the mens room could use some attention to detail however, the food was plentiful and you cant beat those wild blueberry muffins as a dessert.

This place was one of my favorites. I came to eat with family today, after 2 or 3 years. The salads are still looking great, but at the soup area,....the bowls are nasty looking, seems like they just rinse them and bring it to the service line. Please please bleach them and bring that appeal to the customers again

This location was a disappointment. Yes, lots of variety, but no taste, except for my salad dressing that just didnt taste like thousand island. Will skip this location next time when I have desire for salad. Just go to Salada. Have a good salad and forget about all the other sides and for about $3 less!

Went there yesterday and I got so sick I almost ended up in the hospital. Something I ate made my family and me all sick. The restaurant looks really nice and the food taste good but a few hours later we were all very sick. Its sad but I will never go there again because of the food poisoning.
