El peor lugar para comer en todo houston, la comida es muy grasosa y fria , solo una mesera para todo el lugar , el agua sabe fea y tardan mucho para servir la comida , tortillas duras en pocas palabras no lo recomiendo ni en broma . worst place to eat in whole Houston, food is cold and greasy , water have a bad taste and food takes long time to be served , only one waitress for the whole place , tortillas are hard ... I wont recommend this place at all.

The service was great. Portions are more than adequate. I came here from the West Coast to work the Super Bowl in Houston and did a search for Mexican restauants. This wonderful restaurant popped up with great reviews.. upon entering, I was greeted by Louis, the owner. He jokes with everyone and treated me like family. It was Karaoke night, which added to the wonderful ambiance. Dinner was exquisite. Decent size portions at a relatively cheap price! Simply delicious!! It was simply my best dinner sice coming to this wonderful city. Thank you, Louis, you jave a real gem there! Highly recommend!

My wife and I walked in and were immediately greeted by Luis, the owner, who was the friendliest. We had no idea what to expect.. then came the karaoke. I didnt mind it so much but my wife wasnt really into it. We looked through the menu and all of the prices were very reasonable. Unfortunately it is BYOB, so no margaritas which is what I was hoping for. We ended up leaving without ordering anything but decided we will be coming back soon because the menu looked really good. Next time we will come more prepared.

Enjoy this place every time we travel to North side of Houston for football games. We asked for a recommendation from the waitress and were not disappointed. This time we enjoyed the Molcajete (fajitas and fixings in a clay bowl smothered in Green chilie sauce and cheese) There was chicken, beef, shrimp, Green onions, and nopales grilled to perfection. Delicious and spicy. We also enjoyed the fresh lemonade that helped with the spice. We walked out stuffed and could not finish the food in front of us.

Wonderful place. Service was incredibly friendly. My ice tea never got lower than half full. The menu was extensive and while I was able to try a lot of dishes, I barely scratched the surface. The San Luis Special was perfect. Cactus, grilled chicken, peppers, onions and homemade tortillas... With a Verde sauce, beans, rice, guacamole, and pico. And they were all delicious.... A simple down home place that I will go back to.

I recommend this place to everyone the food is extremely good and not expensive. Once you pull up to the parking lot it doesnt look that attractive from the inside but once you walk in the door it is something very different. This place is family friendly, clean, pretty, and not to mention the friendly service. Overall my experience was exceedingly pleasant. I highly recommend it to everyone

A Hidden Jewel This place was great. The chips were light, crispy, and good, the salsa was served warm and with a spoon! That seems like such a small thing, but if youre proud of your salsa you serve it so people can scoop it on everything. The salsa was complex and flavorful, and I even ate my rice. I had the special and it was very good. Highly recommended.

Disappointing.. they dont have a alcohol permit so dont expect to get margaritas. The table was dirty and they had non-family friendly soap opera blasting loudly. The restrooms are not just messy by in disrepair (one toilet had duct tape covering the bowl!) We went on a Wednesday evening and were the only people there the whole time. We wont be returning.

one word AMAZING! I totally recommend, you would leave satisfy. I order a Mexican burger ( crispy bacon, ham,cheese, lettuce,tomatoes, aguacate, and jalapeños with grill onions) I dont think any fast food place can compare to their burgers. Comparable prices and friendly service. It would make you feel like home (:

Any restaurant should know not to serve moldy mexican cheese, but today this mexican restaurant did. Dont care what kind of excuse that is given, thats an automatic poor rating! Luckily my wife was able to catch it be fore we ate lunch. Always look at the food your being seeved carefully.

The place was almost empty when we walked in and they still took a few minutes to bring us stale chips and ask what we wanted to drink. We decided to pay for the drinks, including the water, and Im pretty sure the manager said "f**k you" after I told her I would pay for the drinks and leave.

The service is the worst they just need to see one tattoo on you and start discriminating they look at you like if you gonna rob the place especially a server named Lilian and they never have a manager to inform them about the situation.

This place has amazing homemade food, including their tortillas. The service is quick & polite. Their menue goes beyond the typical mexican dishes. They will adjust music & tv volume according to what customers wants. Great small place!

Stopped for lunch. It had a nice setting. Waitresses were kind. Food was good. I LOVED the fideo sopa they gave us before our plates came out. Salsa was delicious too because it was pretty spicy.

The food was fine. Standard tex mex....the salsa was good. But they do not have beer. Its byob...and they charge you for each beer that you bring which seems ridiculous.
