Worst restaurant experience I have had in years. The hostess was rude to my wife when we arrived to start. Then they seated two tables ahead of us that were the same number of people. There is nowhere to wait in the front of the restaurant unless you go to the bar in the back of the restaurant. Our waitress was inept, and took our order wrong. She had to bring another server over to help her with the menu. She also did not refill our drinks until we were getting the check. The food was not that great either. We ordered crab puffs to start, and they were very large with almost no crab meat in them. We noticed that other people in the restaurant who ordered them were not eating them either. I ordered a specialty roll, and a philly roll. My wife ordered a philly roll, and a crunch roll. The specialty roll was decent, but the philly rolls and crunch rolls were pathetic. The philly rolls were also warm, Im not an expert but I dont think that is normal. When the waitress finally came back to our table we asked for the check and said we were ready to go. She brought us togo plates and no check. We had to wait for her to come back another time to get our check so we could leave. I would rather eat sushi from Kroger than this place.

Spouse didnt feel like cooking tonight (I can burn water), so I bravely set out to procure dinner. Spouse (of course) didnt want anything *the rest of us* wanted, so they chose Popeyes. We all wanted fried rice/sushi/orange chicken. So I went to Akashi and placed the order to go. I left to go get the other order, and was not gone long at all (maybe 5 minutes, not more than 10). When I got back, my order was already ready! Awesome, cause my family is pretty picky, & spouse will *not* warm up cold food. Unbelievably, both my daughters LOVED the beef fried rice! They both ate theirs and then squabbled over mine. The crunch roll was excellent, and the orange chicken had plenty of flavor & enough spice to be interesting. Definitely a great experience, we will certainly be back to dine inside.

We have loves this place since it first opened. Felicia is one of their best servers, very kind and knowledgeable. The manager however has made our experience insulting multiple times. We are unable to eat pork or shrimp, we are refused an extra spring roll to replace the pork or shrimp that comes with the family dinner. So basically we pay for the shrimp/pork and are not even able to substitute as an option for anything. We come frequently and will possibly avoid this facility due to unfortunate recurrent issues with management. They should honor a customers religious beliefs with their dietary requests instead of making a buck..

Good service and decor but the food our group had for lunch was all just ok. The Mongolian Beef was the best of the selections. General Tso chicken was tempura fried white meat with a medium sauce poured over the top not the typical (preferred) darker and soaked in sauce. The flavor was off. Shaggy Dog roll was good, Spicy Tuna and Yellow Fin rolls were ok but the Spicy Crunchy Roll was mushy and tended to fall apart. The decor, prices, and service are good so Ill give it another shot for dinner some time to try some of the entrées.

The staff was not especially friendly, they didnt say much to me at all and seemed like they were in a hurry even though it wasnt busy. The food was awesome. Ive had crab puffs, Texan roll and a Taste of Maki roll (highly recommend this one). There are tons of menu options besides sushi. Food came out very quickly and is presented beautifully. Facility is attractive, good ambiance, large bar, modern music youd find on like hits radio.

I have been to this restaurant several times and the consistency of amazing quality food is always there. The gyoza pan fried dumplings with their sauce is the best I have ever tried. The orange chicken has been my favorite of the Chinese dishes and my husband loves their sushi. Our kids love the sweet and sour chicken. The decor is really nice and the servers are always attentive and kind. This is our favorite restaurant in the area. :)

The restaurant is nicely appointed, service is good and is close to a number of neighborhoods. The menu is very broad (Chinese, Thai, Japanese, Sushi, etc.), which made it hard to dial in on what the specialties of the restaurant are. If you want to stay in the Rayford/GP99 area and get a sushi fix, Akashi is worth trying. However, there are certainly better Asian food restaurants around town.

Ive been a big fan of this place ever since it opened not too long ago. The sushi is excellent, and they have affordable combo options if you are on a budget (I recommend the lunch roll combo or one of the bento boxes - lots of food for the price). The service is always prompt and friendly; Ive never had a problem with getting in and out quick enough for an hour-long lunch.

Restaurant is clean and had a nice atmosphere. The food was very very good. I had the Hawaii Roll and the Cherry Blossom Roll, they were both excellent. The menu is very large and has all types of Asian food you can think of. Im excited to go back and try something new and bring my friends along to experience this wonderful restaurants!

This is my favorite sushi place in the area. The selection is fun and well priced. The staff is friendly and provides great quality, low key service. We always have sushi, but our crazy friends who dont like it have all raved about the choices theyve made off of the Chinese and Japanese menus.

The it in is flavorless, I recommend the yaki don (as a sushi fanatic) And dont order the basic orange chicken California roll combo. Try something new and you may be surprised, ps the tigers eye roll is really good if you like raw salmon.

Its not bad, but not my favorite. I felt slightly deceived with their "tempura" shrimp. It was actually breaded with panko instead of actual tempura. Their lunch specials are reasonably priced in my opinion and they are good portions.

Tried the sushi. Sampled the beef and General chicken. It was all very good. Everything was so fresh. I could taste all the ingredients in my sushi. Perfect. Inside was designed well and staff was genuinely friendly. Ill be back.

Delicious. My husband is not a sushi fan, at all, yet even he thought this place was delicious. Tried 2 signature rolls, a special and a hand roll. Very good and kudos as well to the cocktails. Nice atmosphere as well.

No Hibachi Grill, but the Chinese Food offering is also very good. In general, the items that should be fresh are, the prices are reasonable, the atmosphere appropriate and the servers friendly and prompt. Recommended.
