Wanted to check out the breakfast scene around the area, so I walked over to this restaurant after reading about the good-ish reviews from Yelp. The place looks pretty normal on the outside, but has a cheerful rustic atmosphere once you walk through the double doors. The employees were also cheerful and really nice. I got a menu and ordered relatively quickly, so everything was going smoothly. I decided to go with the Wanderer Skillet since it looked pretty filling for a day full of activities. They also offer complimentary salsa, which I recommend you get if you want to liven up the bland food they serve. My order came 10 minutes later hot, with the salsa I asked for earlier. The sunny-side up eggs on top were overcooked, and only a little of the yolk flowed over my skillet when I cut it open, while the rest of the yolk was firm and cooked. The dish was mostly potatoes, and overall was pretty bland. I thought the salsa would help it a bit, but I ended up asking for tabasco sauce because of the lack of flavor. Although the food was a bit bland, I really loved the atmosphere and the kindness of the employees working there. I might come back and try more items, armed with a bottle of tabasco to fight against the boring tastes. Im probably exaggerating about the lack of taste, but tabasco can save anything. Trust me.

March 2014 Came here for breakfast and enjoyed it... Im a sucker for the hot chocolate at these sorts of places, though. The food took longer than I expected to come out, but I enjoyed it anyway. One oddity: they have "basted eggs." I hadnt heard of these, theyre flat like fried eggs but cooked in water like a poached egg. I decided to try it - not my favorite preparation, I recommend poached or fried instead. The banana pecan pancakes were good, but I thought could use more banana (pretty good amount of pecan though).

The food at this location is awesome but my experience with my bill was horrible. My card was charged with another customers ticket, then when mistake was found they would/could not refund my card. The manager there said he was not able to do a simple credit back.So as of now I paid for my breakfast and another tables. This is the worse management I have seen, and in a more upscale restaurant. I will be able to get my bank to fix this but what a hassle. Very disappointed in this place.

Its ok. Staff was friendly and fast. I had breakfast tacos that were pretty good. But interior needs serious updating. It looks old and rundown and it didnt smell very good in there. And in addition there was another very bad burnt smell coming from the kitchen. In my opinion its about on the same level with Dennys or IHOP, which is not necessarily bad, but is typical breakfast diner.

Place was clean. Very similar to a Dennys or an IHOP. Nothing more or less. Staff was friendly food tasted good. Sucks you have to pay for parking to eat there. Potatoes are a bit dry if you dont put something on them. The waiters shouldnt talk about not being able to find women to sleep them where customers can over hear you.

Although it was crowded we only had a 15 minute wait, great for a sunday! Staff was smiling and friendly. We order our breakfast and came minutes later. It was amazing and our waitress made sure to check on us in case anything was needed. Good food and great service. We will return! Very glad we found on yelp.

I went in with my classmates to film for a project, and the manager was very rude. Even though we actually ordered food, she made us leave so that "other customers" could come in. The food wasnt even that good, so we ended up leaving without eating our food. Not a good experience.

The food here is not too good. We had good service with an attentive server which at least didnt disappoint the whole experience. The coffee is bad and the French toast is horrible. The food here is just mediocre comparable to a in and out side of the highway rest stop diner.

Only had breakfast here. One of the most important things to me about bfast is the hashbrown. They dont have has brown, only there "county potatoes" which are bland in my opinion. Honestly though, I did not go to Lepeep here in houston.

I love this place and come here regularly. The staff is always hekpful and wants to make your order perfect. If you just want egg whites or wheat pancakes let them know and it will be done! Their salsa is also pretty tasty.

Service was excellent and food was very tasty. Their grilled potatoes were really good. Pancakes are huge so take that into account. Its a little pricier than a usual breakfast but I thought overall was really worth it.

Excellent food, clean & bright, pleasant efficient staff. Had the Florentine Benedict, hollandaise was light, nice eggs and the waitress didnt hesitate when we substituted smoked turkey for the bacon. Well be back.

Busy on Saturdays, but this place is worth the wait. Food is average. Service is great. Not alot of breakfast options for folks who arent pork eaters.
