This place is clean and the waiter was nice. The chips and green sauce was good. The food was not good at all. Everything was bland!! No flavor whatsoever. We tried the cheese enchiladas, ground beef enchiladas and the chicken Verde enchiladas. They were all terrible. The rice was bland. The beans were bland. We had to add salt and pepper to everything. The "cheese puff" was too hard to cut. I sent it back. The manager didnt seem to care about anything. Long story short, dont waste your time or money.

First, let me say that we went on Cinco de Mayo so that its a bit more understandable for the 1 star.it didnt seem as though they were staffed for the holiday. I ordered a large (jumbo) frozen margarita w/ salt and my wife ordered large strawberry mango margarita. My wifes order was correct but mine came back a small and on the rocks. The we ordered queso with beef and a kids quesadilla. The queso came back without beef. And the kids quesadilla never came. It was just all around bad.

The service was great! The only reason I cannot give 5 stars is because my wife and I only ordered an appetizer for a quick lunch so I cant give a fair review on food however, the service was great. The restaurant is clean and cozy and the guacamole dip that comes with the chips and salsa is EXCELLENT. We will definitely come back on a later date for dinner and will do another review at that time.

Very rude older gentleman that waited on us. My daughter accidentally dropped her drink and not even a lot fell out. I asked for napkins and cleaned it up myself and he was just very rude about it. I would have given a great review if it wasnt for this rude man who apparently was either having a bad day or just needs to find another career.

The food is unique an authentic. I would recommend anyone try their chicken fajitas. They have a great salsa mix with their chips. It seemed a little dark, but this could be more of a romantic setting theme they may have thought about. Overall I recommend anyone to La Placita. Fair prices and best Authentic Mexican Restaurant in the area.

My first time here and i was not impressed food is way over priced for the quality you get i order chiken & mole and the mole had horrible after taste. Also had carne asada and it was bland no flavor i had to put some salt to make it taste a lil better. I dont think ill be coming back ever again

I have only been to this place once and have no intention of going back. I did not like the taste of any of the food that was tried. The chips were somewhat stale, the salsa was bland, the queso was very greasy the margarita I had tasted like there was roach spay in it or on the glass.

Just walked in not knowing anything about this place and was surprised. Ordered a margarita and the chicken mole. Marg was very good and loved the mole. Rice was actually moist and flavored. Just in a strip center, so it was overall good. Would come back.

This Mexican restaurant is a hidden gem! The food is consistently delicious, the prices are very competitive and the service is prompt, courteous and friendly. I love the bean & cheese nachos, the fajitas and their salsa is yummy!

Awful tex-mex, no flavor, place is very clean, wait staff super friendly, but they need to throw out the chef and start over, dont eat the red sauce , something up with the flavor, sorry to say, pass on La Placita
