Today I had the worst experience of my life at a restaurant at your location. Some friends and I decided to try this place out since someone recommended it to us but boy we were in for a treat. we sat down and the waiter didnt even tell us his name we ordered fajitas for 2. Our food was taking a really long time so the manager Alex apologized and that wouldve been fine if THEY WOULDNT HAVE TAKEN ALMOST 2 HOURS TO GET US OUR FOOD! after we were done eating we asked for our check and asked to split it 3 ways. a simple task we thought but not only did the waiter get the wrong amount but HE OVERCHARGED US $10.00! we asked a nearby waiter to get a manager to get the amount adjusted and the waiters lack of attention showed when instead of getting us a manager he got us a MENU! A MENU! we waited a long time for a manager and when he finally showed up not only did he not offer to make it right but said he would void the charge and charge us the correct amount and that the other amount should drop in a couple of days effectively CHARGING US TWICE! Never have I been more displeased with service than at your location and I will make sure friends and family never commit the mistake of going to your restaurant.

I am a regular customer and I am beginning to question why I spend my money here. Ive had three incidents so far. One, they had a new waitor that argued with me that they didnt serve strawberry lemonade even tho I got it the last 15 times I had been there. second time, I was served raw pink meat on my nachos, given no apology while all the waiters stared at my date and i. Third time was just last saturday. I asked for a Pina colada, I got it and it was watered down. Which eventually I got over cause Im not one to complain. Until I got a hair in my mouth. I thought it was mine so I continued to drink it. Long short receiving two more hairs in my mouth, lifting up my straw finding more hair. And again NO apology from the manager. And I look over at the bar and the girls have there long hair down not up app over the place. HOW FILTHY. you have lost a loyal customer

My bestfriend and I went here on 11-8-13 for the first time and the service was awful. Our waiter never refilled or salsa (which was the main reason why we went). My friend order chili con queso and when the waiter brought the food out the cheese was cold; she requested to get a warmer dish and the waiter replied that he had to ask his manager because it was already on the ticket. Mind you we didnt want to return it we just wanted another one. When the manager came he took the chili but never returned. The Waiter was a refection of the manager and the manager was a reflection of the whole place. Save your money and drive to Lopez the food is way better and services is great.

We went here..and we order brisket street taco, the food came so we take a bite..the meat was dry and hard like jerky, so we call the waiter and ask if we order another food ,he agree and went change our food..Manger came to us and apologize..here was he said that got me aware he said, " sorry about that , that food from yesterday and I dont know how it get in your plate..wow!!! Not nice to say to a customer..I was gonna get dessert but after hearing that I didnt wanna get anything anymore..not even refill for my drink..first time here and last

Ordered a to go meal! Got home and started eating only to find out my order was wrong. Called up there and was told I was going to be reimbursed! Got there and they gave me a new order of food and a crinkled coupon that was probably used by another patron that day. Poor management! I was very inconvenienced having to come up there and get another order because of their mistake. So instead of just giving me my money back I got a coupon for free queso when I BUY an entree. Coupon is in the trash. Never coming back! (7/9/16, 7:56pm).

Definitely one of the worst dinning experiences, I accidentally left my reading glasses on the table, I realized this while I was still in the parking lot with my boyfriend, when I go back inside the restaurant to ask for my glasses i was told no one has seen any glasses. It had only been 5 minutes since I had walked out. This whole situation was ridiculous, the managers and the staff showed little interest in trying to help me find my glasses. My boyfriend and I will not be dinning here again.

I have lived in Houston TX for 2 years now and this has just become my new favorite Tex Mex (yes there is a difference) in Houston. Green & Red salsa both good, chips good too Ground beef enchiladas very good Rice... MMMMM Sweet Tea was to die for, and I dont care much for sweet tea the way other Texans do. Oh and the service was really good; never had to ask for a refill on my drink, chips, or salsa. This review is based on experience from my first visit, I have not been back since.

the service was pretty good but all 3 of our dishes were NOT. the chicken tasted odd( was supposed to be fajita), the black bean chalupa has ZERO flavor and the lobster ceviche (thought it was HUGE and lots of it) was super big chunks and fell off the cracker and on the table every time. It was Very fishy tasting and couldnt mix with the tomatoes and onions it was served with; so it didnt taste very good. it shouldve been chopped into smaller pieces. will NOT be back to this location.

The service here is absolutely horrible. It takes forever to get anything and the waiters never check in on you and regularly leave glasses empty for extended periods of time. Chips are stale around 50% of the time. The food is good overall (the only reason for two stars). Either the management is weak or they arent properly motivating their staff. Terrible experience. Too many restaurants next to this one to reward such poor customer service. Stay away!

Me and my family have been going to Mamacitas for the past 3 years and have had Sons wedding here, partys, referring to all friends and family, business dinners and Sunday breakfast every Sunday! Needless to say service and food have not been great for past month slowly going down. We will not be going here ever again! Feel sorry for the waiter that use to service us. Very nice guy, not his fault. Management is definitely different or something?

Its a beautiful restaurant but looks can be deceiving. The food looked good but was far from that and WAY over priced for the quality of food. I ordered a chimichanga,when i cut into it the gease overflowed all over my plate. I used a napkins twice to soak up the gease but it didnt make a difference. The servicer was so rude. He wouldnt even look you in the face and when i asked for the check he just TOSSED it on the table. NOT WORTH THE MONEY.

Excellent place for crooks or terrorists to hit! In the past couple of weeks they put up 30.06 and 30.07 signs. Since only law abiding citizens pay attention to these signs, those more criminally minded will eventually be aware that no one in this place can defend themselves. Therefore, this, and other places that refuse to allow law abiding citizens to lawfully protect themselves, are now putting themselves in danger by eating here.
