So Im not quite sure where all of the "good reviews" are coming from but I must say I was deceived. I took to these reviews and decided to try the place for my birthday :(... I ordered an enchilada plate and it was not good at all. The refried beans looked like they had possibly sat out somewhere because they had dried sections in them! My husband ordered the chimichanga and it was so greasy he had grease just sitting on his plate running into the rice. It even got as bad as my son ordered the chicken finger kids meal and the chicken fingers were burnt! On top of that it took almost 45 to 50 minutes for the food to come out and it was "warm" (not even fresh) The only descent thing was the happy hour Margaritas... I give this place the lowest rating possible because unfortunately there are no negative numbers to choose from.

I love the breakfast here. The other food after breakfast not so much. I ordered take out for the hardworking hungry men in my family and was disappointed with the Tacos . They were puny and the tortillas were so small and they were not enough to feed my hungry group I ordered two for each and they were so embarrassingly small. Very stingy with their portions and compare to the other taqueria here they charge extra for the chips and salsa. Also they did not give cheese at all; not one shred. Very disappointing. Who serves tacos without cheese.

I like the atmosphere this place has with all the decorations and banners in the walls. The waitresses were friendly and attentive and refilled my drink without me having to ask for it, but the food took a while to arrive to the table which is an inconvenience if you come during lunch hour and are trying to leave quickly. The food wasnt bad, but it wasnt great either, it was what you would expect of a Tex Mex restaurant.

Unfortunately i cant give no stars...but as soon as i walked in the service sucked. Ordered drinks and it took at least 5 min to get them. The chips tasted stale. And the queso tasted like the melted nacho cheese you would buy in a can at walmart. The menu was over priced for product that was getting delivered. After my nephew ate the queso he was sick. I do not recommend this place. Not even to my worst enemy! !

Taco De Oro has a nice laid back feel where you can have a quiet dinner with family or friends. Staff is very friendly and helpful and they dont rush you to order or open up the table. Favorite choices so far are the margaritas and breakfast tacos (not together haha).

I think the better reviews are from before the remodel or whatever it was. This place is awful. Chicken is dry, beans arent good, cheese enchiladas are sour tasting and not enough cheese. The food is way overpriced for what it is. I wont be coming back.

This place failed before I even sat down. The name of the restaurant is "Tacos de Oro" but theres only two taco items on the menu! The name would be more accurate as "Another Tex-Mex place". So if youre looking for tacos, ignore the name and move on.

I had excellent shrimp tacos -- among the best I have eaten. All the food was hot and tasted fresh. Its not five star simply because things like chile con queso were not special. Still, its good Mexican food.

Nice place with friendly down home atmosphere and service! Its close to home and you dont have to wait in long lines to get in, both a plus no matter what! Give it a try, we did and continue to enjoy!

Ive only been here for breakfast but it was really good. They have the best breakfast tacos in town! You can order to go & get your food very quickly. But, if you dine in, the service is great.

Tacos were great. Potato Egg and cheese with beans was the best Ive ever had. Having three salsas on the table to use on the tacos was great as well. Beware the orange one (habanero)

Order tacos al carbon. Smelled and tasted bad. I believe the meat was spoiled. Had to run to bathroom to throw up. This place is not clean. We do recommend this dirty place.
