Great place if you are doing Korean BBQ. they have the BBQ tables with the vents and let you cook yourself if you are willing to trust yourself with sharp objects and raw meat you should go for it. I never really tried anything outside of the BBQ but i do recognize that there is a large number of sides that come with the meal and you could easily fill up on one order of BBQ if you really enjoy Korean sides. The service may seem odd at first but in Korea waiters dont come check on you, they leave you alone (i find it nicer that way but others might feel a bit odd). they actually use a button system. you will find a button on your table and you press it every time you need something (refills or even if you are ready to order). i saw at least 1 review trashing service.... its probably because they didnt know about the button system. really this makes the best service you could ever want in my opinion. My only issue was the price. Its a bit pricey for some of the meats and i could easily spend over 100 if you are with a group of 3. A good alternative to ordering several plates of meat would be to do the all you can eat, its 21 (ish) a person and you can choose most of the meats as often as you want... i think its for 2 hours at a time so you cant just chill all day until you have the meat sweats. Regardless the food itself is fantastic Its definitely worth the trip for some quality Korean BBQ.

This place was my first and very last. I am not sure why this restaurant has 4 stars from most reviewers. The meat is decent but the marination is downright awful. And the condiments are a complete joke/embarrassment considering the amount they give you and uneatable. The Kimchi is awful (and a good judge of restaurants quality is the Kimchi they serve), the seaweed is nasty, the tempura shrimp is right out of the microwave, so cheap. They do not serve rice paper, which is a deal breaker for me but I only found that out after everything was served. I mean how does a KBBQ not have rice paper? I come from LA and know what Korean BBQ should taste like, perhaps in Texas it supposed to be different. The meat portions are adequate, I am not going to discount the fact that they serve Ribeye, but the quality of the meat is not there either. The amount I paid for AYCE, selecting choice A, Fogo de Chao or Texas in Brazil is worth way more. Korea House is way too pricey for the quality of food they provide, they really need to step up their game in the condiments department. Youll do better going to a quality ala carte KBBQ, and spend less. I mean, I did not come here to just eat meat and garbage down bad condiments. If that was the case, for the same money, Id much rather go to Texas de Brazil for better experience.

If youre ready to feast then this is the place for you. Many will compare to Seoul garden down the street and i will do so here as well. Im a big eater and getting full at Seoul garden can be tough for cheap. Thats where Korea house comes in. For roughly the same price i can get stuffed. The short ribs are a good cut, the pork belly choices and cuts surpass that of Seoul Garden. Korea house has sides but most are not that great compared to Seoul. You really miss out out on the potatoes and spinach. You can skip the pork ribs at Korea house, as they are plain and rely on the sauce to give them any flavor. Cooking at Korea house is different from Seoul. At Seoul you get a real grill to cook on and the flavor stands out more. At Korea they give you a skillet with aluminum foil. Make sure remove the foil or you will be simmering your food. I believe there are tables with proper grills but youll have to get lucky to get one otherwise youll be skillet cooking instead. So in short if you can get past the odd setup for Korean bbq and are more focused on the meats than the sides (thats me) than youll enjoy Korea house. If you arent that big of a meat eater then go to Seoul.

First entering, very lovely staff. Everyone here is some friendly. I came in at a time not to busy, but it seemed to be a while b4 we were acknowledged. (7-10min). It has a nice set up, and a great atmosphere. While eating I asked for soy sauce and it took until the end of my meal to receive it. Yet, they werent busy. With a restaurant that everyone has rated with such high regards, it sure doesnt seem like it matches the reviews. Aside from taste of food, and the manager being so nice. THERE WAS DRIED FOOD ON MY PLATE. Not a particle, but a piece of food. Korea Garden is far superior, and recommend them. They are a few streets over and Ive always had a pleasant time. (unfortunately, this is my first and last time here) side note, my gf just pointed out, there is a bell you ring for service, this may have led to a better experience, but, as this is not common place in most restaurants in had no knowledge of this. (she is Asian and will probably disagree with my post here) Im just rating service overall.

Our second visit. We had called to make sure we can make it before closing, told them exactly what we are going to order and they told us to come. Drove almost an hour and although we got there 30 minutes before closing, they didnt give us all the side dishes or refills on the side dishes (standard service at Korean restaurants) we have because the kitchen staff who does that is gone already. They told us to enjoy but we felt very rushed. Food was not that great and the owner agreed that the soup tasted bitter and offered to give us free soup next time we come. Well I dont think there is going to be a next time for us and I consider tonights meal waste of money and time. I dont think it is too much to ask to have a nice well served meal when you are spending more then $50 for dinner for two. They told us they are sorry many times, nice people but we are still not going to go back and I wouldnt recommend this place to any of my friends. There are plenty of restaurants all over the place.

My husband and I went for SSAM BAB last night, we are totally addicted in this. This menu is made for 2 persons for $33 or $35? comes with chest nut and other mixted bean rice cooked in hot pot, another tofu and veggi hot pot, followed by assorted green leaves,10 plus side dishes, finally choice of one grilled fish, pork or koean bbq, how can you beat this? All servers speak fluent english and friendly so you can ask any questions you want, the owner runs around restaurant just like battery operated person between customers and kitchen, he is the most caring guy. If you want to try korean food this is the place to go! There is so many other dishes on the menu beside of our SSAM BAB.. Certainly one of our favorites restaurant in town!
